Hot and Sexy!!
I haven't found a single Penny Wylder book I haven't really liked. I love books about fighters. I love it when they are tough and strong, yet sweet and protective. Jon was all that and more....like sexy, really really sexy. Jon and Sadie's chemistry was off the charts and from the moment they laid eyes, and other things, on each other. What started as a no strings attached, anonymous, one night stand, turned into so much more.
Even though this is an ARC, I will always shoot you straight.

So these stories are kind of like popcorn. Quick and easy enough to be enjoyable, but not a lot to sink your teeth into. I am a bit worried that this author sees condoms for their protection against pregnancy and doesn't even take into account STDs.

What I like about Penny Wylder’s stories, although I just started reading her work, the stories seems simple and cute, but it packs a lot of steam and spice as well. This book started out with sex and a one-night stand, but there is a storyline in wait and I liked that it was not just about the sex for this couple. It felt like a different twist on a 2020 Cinderella story.
I really enjoyed reading Jon and Sadie’s chemistry. It was fire when they connected. They did it backwards as this was insta lust turned into insta love.
Overall, this was a quick read that I enjoyed. If you are a fan of short stories you know what to expect. If you are a fan of this author you know what to expect, and she never disappoints because I am always in love with her male characters they always have me seeing stars and get that juice flowing.

This one was HAWT!!! Sadie was after a one night stand as a last hurrah before moving. She and Jon have been eye fu****ng across the club.
She beckons him to her and they go to a private VIP room and get down. After they finish he asks her name but she just walks out.
Fast forward a month she is now in Nashville for her new job and he is actually from there. Both have been thinking about that night in Atlanta. When Jon sees her on the local news he makes things happen so he can see her again.
They meet up and quickly start dating, throw in some low key drama and some really sweet pups and an HEA.
The heat level is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. This a quick, dirty, insta-lust to insta-love story. Penny Wylder rarely disappoints!!!!

Another knockout
I loved Sadie and Jon's story. 2 people that met one night, hooked up and parted without even an exchange of names. Both were haunted by the memories of that hot night but figured they'd never see each other again. When Jon, who is a fighter, happens to glance at the local news and see none other than his mystery girl. He never does interviews but at a chance of seeing her again, he gladly sets one up with the station. Of course nothing is ever as smooth as you think, especially when Sadie is a reporter looking for a big story to make her name.
I really liked both the characters- they weren't wishy-washy with what they wanted and the story line kept me interested and entertained. Some steamy scenes as well!

Intense passion
This book is intense and passionate on the fast track. I liked how it had danger and suspense plus intense chemistry at the get go. And yes ladies that can really happen because the moment my now husband kissed me for the first time we had that same intense chemistry and still have it today.

Hold Her Close is a really enjoyable story with great characters and a fun story-line. Jon and Sadie are sizzling hot and sexy together, with a palpable chemistry as you read. There is a bit if drama, a lot of smexy, some fun and a great HEA all expertly blended together in an easy and fast reading novella.

Wow, what a read this is.
Jon and Sadie's story is one of passion and that instant chemistry that we all want to find but it's so rare.
Jon is an MMA fighter but he's soft, gentle and romantic and he's the perfect man. Sadie is career driven and wants to prove a point, she's sassy and strong and the perfect match for Jon.

Wow! OMG! Penny you did not just turned my world upside down with this AH-MAZING! This story was everything I didn't know I need at this moment in time. I absolutely LOVE me some Penny Wylder books. Every single book she has came out with tops each other and I'm torn! Sadie is fierce. She is bold. She is beautiful, smart, sweet, and genuine. She is more than just a pretty face. She loves journalism. Throughout the story she is understanding things are going to happen beyond your control. She didn't count on seeing her last time of freedom to show back up. Jon is a man that takes care of his body. He is very attractive and have this confidence about him that makes him sexy. He is protective. I love the fact he never gave up hope. The way he is so patient with Sadie is so freaking sweet. They're journey to their happy ever after is one of a kind. Thank you so much Penny for your amazing words that touch me.
