Experience the thrilling second book in The Dragon Twins series—a spell-binding adventure full of magic, romance, and twists you'll never see coming!
After killing the dark supernatural who could sense their rare elemental abilities, twin sisters Gemma and Mira are no longer being tracked every time they use their magic. But they can’t let their guard down yet. They’re still being hunted by the strongest demon on Earth—Lilith.
The only solution?
Kill Lilith before she gets to them.
To do that, they need to locate the Holy Crown of legend. There’s just one problem: no one has seen it for over a thousand years. Once the Holy Crown is found, the mysterious fifth element can finally be unlocked—the element that’s the key to winning the war against the demons.
But finding the Holy Crown isn’t Gemma’s only problem. She’s still plagued by her memories of a love she and Ethan shared in another life. Given that Ethan’s dating Mira in this life, Gemma wants to get rid of her feelings for him. The best way to do that? Convince a witch to brew her a potion to erase her memories.
Because once she drinks the memory potion, her love for Ethan will be gone... forever.

I read this book as an ARC. I loved reading this gorgious book and here is my honest review.
First the cover: the colors look so perfect together and it al looks so serene. It is like this book is a silence before a storm. But silent I can not call this book.
This book is a quick read and we finally find out more about Ember. Michelle wrote this book full of excitement, love, pain and adventure, like you are reading your own story. Only two days it took me to finish this book and I would lovecto just dive back in and start again.
I can not say more otherwise the suprise will be gone. Happy reading!!!
Every single book of this Dark World, world gets better and better each time. This book was no different. You are immersed in the world and story from the very beginning. I can not wait to see what happens next from that ending....
I always look forward to more books from this author and I’m completely up-to-date with this series and all the prequel series set in the same world! I really enjoyed the start to this series and couldn’t wait to continue the characters story! I received an ARC of this book and made it my next read! It’s been a while since the first book released, so I did have to go back and re-read the last few chapters to familiarize myself with where it had left off! After reading this book, I can say that I really enjoyed it! It continued on the characters story perfectly and it had a lot in it! It only took me a few sittings to read as well and I loved that there were some action scenes and a little bit of romance! There wasn't a lot of romance, but I could understand why there wasn't! I really hope there's more as this series progresses! There were quite a few big reveals in this book as well, which I can see having a massive impact as the plot progresses and more things happen! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Gemma was again the main female character, and in this book I felt for her because she had to make some tough decisions and she didn't want to betray her sister, Mira! I could understand Gemma's dilemma and I do think that she made the right decision! I can also see Gemma becoming a very strong character in this series and I can't wait to see it! Ethan was again the love interest of Gemma! It was easy to see that he had genuine feelings for Gemma, but he didn’t want to hurt Gemma’s sister and in turn he ended up hurting Gemma! Ethan did surprise me with how honest he was when it came to a life or death decision and this did change everything! Ethan was also protective of both Gemma and Mira and he wanted them both to be safe on their mission! There also weren't any chapters written from Ethan's point of view in this book, but I hope there is in the next book! This book was written from a few different point of views, which I was expecting because all of the books in this series and the prequel series have been written this way! It was mainly written from Gemma’s point of view, but a few chapters were written from Harper and Mira’s point of views! I understood why it was mainly written through Gemma’s eyes and I’m really happy that a few chapters were from other characters point of views! It added to the story and helped me connect more with the characters! It allowed for more to happen in the plot as well and for some secrets to be revealed! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! I'm not sure when it's going to release because it says September, which is quite a while away, but I'll definitely be reading it once it does and I can't wait to find out what's going to happen! The ending of this book was also left at the perfect place to lead into the next book and it's left it open for a lot of things to happen! I also love the cover for this book a lot! I love how well it suits the book and it would definitely draw me to the series if I didn't already know the author's name! The cover model is also the perfect Gemma! Big thank you to Michelle for an ARC of The Dragon Realm!
Book 2 takes us further into the world on the twins adventures. There is so many Gasping moments! The cliffhanger has you needing book 3 like right now!! It’s almost like the author’s tease only half scratches your itch, which after reading this story will be so much more ironic!
Finally back with the Dragon twins and off on their quest. Ethan, Mira and Gemma travel and speculate a lot in this installment. They are looking for answers and end help bringing Torrence and Reed back with them. Harper finds her own quest to embark on while the twins and Ethan stay true to their purpose. In the end one twin is crowned, but what of the other?
OMG another cliffhanger! This was a fast read in that it was so suspenseful I couldn't put it down. Mira, Ethan and Gemma continue on their journey to find the crown. Along the way what they go through and encounter takes your breath away. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens to them all!
Okay, book two in the series. It starts slowly and before you know it you’re completely hooked. I was fully engrossed, could not put it down till It was finished. Roll on book three. Highly recommended.
Whether to enjoy this series or hate it. Mia and Gemma are…tedious. Mia is bratty. Gemma is pig-headed. Ethan is one-dimensional. Character building happens off page and honestly, there is nothing that makes me cheer for any of them. This series has a lot of potential and maybe the author plans to tie up all the plot holes eventually, but at the end of the day this was another story about whiney teenagers.
For Mira and Gemma it seems like there once normal life was a lifetime time ago. Since meeting Ethan and becoming of age to receive there powers they've seen a lot of hurt and tragedy. Although for Gemma and Ethan watching Harper get killed in front of them knowing there was nothing they could do to stop it was excruciating for them both they couldnt even bring her body back they had to escape or they would've died as well. Harper had been angry, angry when her home was destroyed when her people were killed she seen it as opportunity to seek revenge she was a powerful witch but an arrogant one an it had gotten her killed and it had almost got Gemma and Ethan killed but they'd no time to stop an process it all they had to keep going. Ethan is now King of the Dragons his father has been killed but that's not the only thing he has on his mind not only did he kiss Gemma but Mira his girlfriend and Gemma's twin doesn't know what has happened between them however he knows it'll hurt her if she finds out and he's doesn't want to hurt her. Although it seems there's more than one memory of a kiss Ethan and Gemma also know that theyve kissed before it seems that whatever memories they've had have been hidden by a memory potion so now they only have fractured fragments of them being together it's enough though for guilt to creep in for Gemma for the sister she will hurt if she finds out that her boyfriend and sister have had a moment well if memories are to be believed several moments enough for feelings to be had. Ethan wants to forget about it and concentrate on protecting the twins, helping the Dragons escape captivity in Ember and help defeat the demons. However to Gemma it seems that Ethan doesn't care and as for her she just can't live with the guilt of her feelings for Ethan and the betrayal of her sister Mira for Gemma it seems there's only one solution a memory potion that can make her forget the deep longing and love she has for Ethan. Can a potion be enough to stop the love they feel for each other from coming out an possibly destroying her sister's faith in not only her twin but that of her supposed boyfriend cause it won't end well for anyone if and when it does come out.. Loved the book 😊 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the second book in the fourth series that takes place in Michelle Madow's Dark World. I have to say I'm loving this universe so much. She has created such a wonderful and thorough representation of each different plane of existence. We've already visited Earth and the various supernatural kingdoms hidden there, as well as Avalon and the Faerie Realm. Now we visit the realm of the dragons, known to many as a prison world.
Once again we follow the twins, Gemma and Mira, who travel to the dragon realm with Ethan, their dragon protector. In the previous Dark World books, we've met the queens of cups, wands, and swords. Now a magical crown will adorn the queen of pentacles, destined to be one of the twins. But ancient prophecies, betrayal, and danger lurk everywhere. Can the twins overcome it, and will their relationship ever be the same?
Michelle Madow is a master at creating characters that you really care about, and telling the story from a semi-omniscent point of view. Although mostly told through the eyes of Gemma, we do get glimpses into the heads of various other characters, including the "villains" of the story, so we know a bit more about what's at stake than even the characters do. It's so compelling, and every time a new novel comes out I can't put it down. I think the Dragon Twins books may be my favorite yet, although that may be because the more time I spend in this world the more attached to it I become. Another fabulous tale, and as is typical with the second book in a series, a resolution and a cliffhanger mean I can't wait to read the next book.
I really enjoyed this book, as I have all of Michelle Madow's books. This book is mostly from the viewpoint of Gemma, but occasionally from someone else's. After going to the dragon realm (and rescuing a couple of friends) the twins and Ethan are sent on a mission to find a holy object. The adventure is fast paced and we discover of which twin wears the next crown and what happens with the other.
First of all, I just want to say thank you to Michelle Madow for giving me an ARC of this book to read in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion.
The Dragon Realm is the second book in Michelle's Dragon Twins series. The Dragon Realm is told mostly from Gemma's point of view, but we also get a few other view points as well. This book was fast paced and full of adventure. The book ended on one of Michelle's famous cliffhangers so I can’t wait to read the next one!
OMG I am totally hooked! This second book carries on from the first and its so so good. In this the twins are off to locate the Holy Crown of legend needed to unlock the fifth element and win the war against the demons and what an adventure it is and the twist at the end I did not see coming! I am so looking forward to reading the next book.
The Dragon Realm is a continuation from book 1. What a thrill! What a ride! As the twins Mira and Gemma try to save Earth yet teenage angst of liking the same boy, Ethan, sends them on another quest to find The Holy Crown but only one of the Gemini Twins may wear it and become the Queen of Pentacles. Exciting ride and new characters are introduced. I cannot wait to see what happens next as Mira escapes the heartbreaking situation and gets herself into trouble.
The saga continues in this second book of the Dragon Twins. I love seeing development of the characters, and the twists and turns of the plot. So good! Can't wait for the next book!
What a ride!!! I thought I knew what was going on and what was going to happen... HELLO! I never saw that ending coming. Awesome book! I loved every minute of it.
Gemma, Ethan and Mira, Gemma's twin, are on a mission to find the Holy Crown in order to defeat Lilith, a greater demon. There are twists and turns with a little starry eyed love mixed in. The conclusion of this book is quite unexpected. I receive this book as an ARC.
I love this whole series. I have binged from the beginning (vampire) and I just can't get enough. The twists and turns and the old characters revisiting just makes me squee!!!
I fished the first and the second book in less than 24 hours. Gemma is trying to figure out her feelings for Ethan while trying to not let on to her twin her feelings. Mira is hard to like and has been from the beginning. She’s whiney and self-absorbed and her magic is suffering because of it. I really like a lot of the secondary characters as well.
Sometimes betrayal isn't planned, and definitely not on purpose. I don't want to do a spoiler, so I won't go into detail. I do hope that the twin that goes dark, will be redeemed in the next book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It had everything that you could want in the book had the action adventure at love had a little bit of everything really enjoyed it. I would really recommend this series as well as the series go before and after this specific series love it
The detail and depth of the storyline is truly amazing! The characters are constantly facing new challenges and having to learn who and what they can trust. Gemma is my favorite and I really enjoy reading the story from her POV. I can't wait to see how Mira's story continues. Ethan has come a long way and I look forward to more from him in the future.
Love this book so much best book in this series ( I understand there is only two but still 😆) I love this book so much it has so much excitement and so much drama I love this author i love how she keeps you on the edge of your seat holding the book ( and breath) I am very excited to see that Ethan came out with the truth even though it wasn’t in the best way I’m happy for Gemma and I wasn’t all that shocked when Mira went to the dark side it kinda makes sense cause she was willing to leave behind an entire kingdom just so she could be safe and Mira does seem pretty weak maybe that’s just my opinion but in battle she seems really scared and weak Gemma on the other hand is pretty confident and she will make a great queen I would like to see a bit more action with her earth magic to be honest cause she does do some things with it but yeah so it would be cool but Gemma will make a great queen and I can’t wait to see her adventure going further. September seriously why can’t you come sooner 🤣
Well, well, well, Michelle you normally do leave me with such a killer cliff hanger but you did this time. Normally at the end of her books it leaves you with a hint of what is to come in the next book. In this one I was screaming in my head "NOOOOOO!!! I need more, I need to know now!" Loved this Book Gemma struggles still with her feeling for Ethan and that boy seems to be more hot and cold then I don't even know what to begin to compare it to. The twins continue to learn more about their magic and fight to save the world, all while Ethan is there being the protector. Michelle gets you with several bombs in this book, I will not say more than that as to not give it away. I take that back I will say one have me going back to the end of the last series and saying what I am a so confused as to what happened now. I am sure she has some trick up her sleeve to astound us all later, we well all be say "Wow now I get it, that's amazing."
Torrence was finally free from the trouble she got herself into, but the revelation about Selena was shocking, and I did not see that coming! That explained why she delayed in freeing her people in the Otherworld! As for who would be crowned as the queen of Pentacles, well, there's no surprise, and I'm sure everyone got this right.
Story-wise, I have enjoyed the ride so far. I binged reading it from season one until now, and I see a significant improvement in writing style and story execution. So far, the story has been about racing with the demons' team to collect the Holy/Unholy objects. Although, we didn't know about the other team's progress until now.
It has been a ride to remember since they let the Hell gate open. From collecting Demon's tooth for entry in Avalon, fighting against Azazel, gaining Gods' ability, and now, the threat against Lilith and one that would soon rise from the gifted vampires' blood? Could it be Lucifer? What a fascinating adventure we've had.
The beginning eleven chapters were a bit tough to get through, but only because of personal preference. I'm finding myself getting more annoyed at teenage thought processes these days and was missing the constant adventure of the first one, which definitely came after chapter twelve. It was a tough call between three or four stars because the love triangle between the twins and Ethan really started to grate on me. One last thing w/o spoilers gah I really wish teenagers would just let themselves feel crushing feelings for longer than a week before making rash decisions. I bumped it up a star because the writing phenomenal as always and I wouldn't feel so irked if the characters weren't well written.
Why did I wait so long to read this series? I'm so happy. Of course, I didn't guess everything right. However, the most important detail was right. She did try to throw me off. At one point I dreaded I was wrong. In which case, I would have been really upset. Finding out there are still secrets even the dragon king doesn't know was cool. Hecate not always being there when they needed answers is annoying. Torrence's revelation was heartbreaking! Glad she gets free and can feel again. I am happy Gemma finds some peace. And Mira well she does to, in a way. I'm not saying more than that. You have to read for yourself to find out how everything plays out.
