What is a girl to do when her world goes up in spectral flames? Mix a drink or three, and pick up the pieces.
Rogue was originally published as part of the megabook Rogue, Renegade & Rebel.
With the earthshattering revelation that Queen Victoria lied to Jennie her whole life, Rogue has gone…rogue.
Jennie King is still in New York, where the spectral world is in turmoil. The city is divided between those loyal to Queen Victoria and the Spectral Planes, and war is threatening to break out between the factions. Can Jennie and Baxter work with the Spectral Planes to forge peace in the spectral kingdom? Or will Worthington get in their way?
Only time will tell if Jennie’s new allies can become friends.
America better watch out, because Rogue is bringing her party to the East Coast.

Renegade follows on wonderfully from Rogue, and gives the reader more back story into Jenny's past.
From being the Queen's facilitator, she is now determined to help the neutrals, and those in the Spectral Plane, from being overwhelmed by those who took the Queen's Oath.
This all leads to a showdown that is Spectacular both in the human plane, and the Spectral!
This was another unputdownable book, and I finished it at silly O'Clock this morning, but was too tired, by then, to write the review it deserved, without grabbing some sleep first.
I'm glad I did it that way as, despite me having a terrible memory nowadays, I woke up with the story still clear in my head, which is a miracle for me - a bit like the miraculous ending of the book! Lol
This finds Jenny on a flight back to England, with Baxter travelling with her, in place of Washington.
I really want to get on with reading book three of this series: Rebel, to see how her confrontation with Queen Victoria goes! Lol
Btw, I loved the author's notes again: it was fascinating to read a little about Lynn Stiegler!
So many of her movie, and book, choices are the same as mine, but there were some, in both, that I'd not heard of, which is exciting for me, as I love new recommendations 🤣
Well, this isn't getting me nearer to reading Rebel so, without ado, I'll see you on the flip side, after I've read it, so I can tell you if it keeps up the momentum of the books, so far!
