Make You Feel My Love
At the age of 12, Gia Langmore’s life takes a drastic turn for the worse. Tragedy strikes and soon after she finds herself with a new family, in a new neighborhood, with a new life. Unable to fully process what happened traumatizes her to silence. That is, until her persistent and charming neighbor Roland Stevenson comes along. It takes some time, but eventually Roland breaks through many of the walls Gia put up and eventually they form an unbreakable bond. Fast forward ten years later, that bond is still intact but things aren't quite the same. Somewhere along the timeline, both Gia and Roland form unexpected feelings for one another, and decides to take their platonic relationship to a new level. Things aren't as black and white as they seem though. Gia's childhood trauma cripples her still, and Roland's clingy ex refuses to let go. As if he doesn't already have enough on his plate, Roland discovers a snake in his organization too. In the midst of trying to put the pieces back together on the business front, a blast from his past causes turmoil in his personal life. While Roland is trying to balance it all, Gia finds herself in an unfavorable situation. When it's all said and done, Will they be able to bear the weight of it all? Or will outside issues and mental instabilities ruin them before the actually get the chance to take their relationship to the next level?

Great Read!
This was my first read by this author and she did not disappoint! The characters were developed well, the story young wasn’t too fast and I was intrigued the whole time. Aaliyah is an amazing storyteller and I definitely recommend this book. I love the way Roland loves and protects G! I will be reading part 2 to see what happens to Princess because she was dead A** wrong and deserves everything that comes to her. It’s about to be some slow singing and flower bringing in part 2...and Cal...whew!

Loved it
I was invested from the very beginning! I love the protectiveness in Roland. Gia is a little too timid, but I can deal with it considering her past. Prin is delusional and the DEVIL! 😊 The ending had me on the edge of my seat can’t wait to see what’s next! Part 2 is needed now!

Totally unexpected!
This was a new author to me and I went into this story without reading the synopsis. So not only did I not have any idea what to expect, but from chapter to chapter I continued to be taken by surprise! I'll definitely be moving on to book 2 to see how Gia and Roland's story concludes. And as for Princess, yeah I'll just keep that to myself 😂

WOW
This book was really good and I enjoyed it. Very well written, the character development and storyline was great. I love the friendship between Gia and Roland especially how protective he is over her. After the childhood she had he's definitely someone she needs in her corner. This story will have you questioning certain characters motives while others you wish will be handled accordingly. That jaw dropping ending has me wanting to know more about what happened all those years ago. Also will Princess conniving ways catch up to her and what is really up with Ty. Great job to the author on her debut release and I'm looking forward to what happens next.

Drama Filled
Babbyyyyyy this story is filled with so much suspense... I know my BP was elevated! I can definitely tell ya it's a page turning, but also will pull every emotion imaginable! I can't believe this cliffhanger... cuz Prin makin it to book 2 got me wanting to snatch my edges!! 😒 Great writing by Aaliyah!! This sistah did not come to play with her first release!! 💯🍾🥂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

IKYL!!!! Everybody except Gia got me messed up. Princess, Night, Ty, others that shall not be named and especially the author in that order. Lol! This was a really quick and enjoyable read. Seems like there are a lot of secrets waiting to be unraveled and I can’t wait to find them out. Great debut!

Wooow
For a debut book this was a very good book! It was really easy to read. The storyline, although sad at times, kept my attention. I literally read this book in like two hours because I couldn’t put it down. I am anxiously awaiting part two. 🙏🏾Roland and Gia have a special connection and it’s obvious that they are in love with each other. My heart was aching as Gia relived her story; I hate that she went through so much. Roland is her angel on earth, he loves and protects her with his all. Princess is the worst kind of human... like she makes me itch 🤣but she definitely brought the drama. I loved everything about this book and I know it’s about to get real interesting after that ending!! Great work, so looking forward to reading more of this authors work!❤️

FINALLY I'm getting bro this series!
I downloaded this book a while ago and became aware that it was book one if a series so i waited for the completion. It was well I should say one of the characters got a lot of talk in one of the groups I belong too and all I'm gone say is THEY WERE ALL right about her. Princess is CLEARLY delusional behind Roland aka Night. So glad I can move right on to book two to see how much more delusional she will become. Gave only three stars for book one due to the main characters Night and Gia NOT getting to a semi HEA. Hoping their dealings with one another get better in book two.

This was my first read by Aaliyah Danielle and I loved it! The drama, deceit, turmoil and acceptance given in this book was a roller coaster ride. I loved Night and Gia, I also loved the storm that was brewing around these two. Best friends to lovers with messiness thrown in is a great concept and I need more. I have no patience so a cliff hanger did not make me happy but this ending was still everything!

I need the follow up ASAP! I pray Princess fraud self is found out, but I'm not trusting Ty either. I think Roland has several haters in his life but his love for Gia is real. There's also more to Gia's childhood than she knows, I just feel it. Can't wait to read what happens next.

Roland is everything Gia needs. I love the way he protects her and make sure that she is good no matter what. Princess, OMG I do not like her, AT ALL. I be so glad when she get her just desserts!! Sammy ad her cousins gotta pay for something they didn't have enough strength to tell her no and walk away. Gia has been dealt a bad hand and I hate that for her.

Part 2 Please!!!
I typically don’t like to read books where the characters are depressed. It usually does nothing but make me feel bad as well. However, the storyline here is so good that I can make do. Hopefully, Gia will find love and happiness in book 2.
