She makes him tongue-tied. He makes her frazzled. Can love clear things up? Brash, retired Army veteran, Timothy Elliott, has a way with words—on paper, anyway. Give him a pen, and he could devise a winning plan for any situation or craft a letter that could make the harshest critic weep. For years he’s been successfully using his gift of written words to express love for his dear granddaughter. Which works just fine when they’re miles away. But now his granddaughter is living with him. Now, he’ll have to use the spoken word to express himself. Not an easy task for this rough veteran since he keeps choosing the wrong ones. After twenty years of teaching and traveling the world, Samantha Doyle has come to Grovestown to sell her hand-knit creations while she rests and regroups. She’s done searching for a love she’s never been able to find. It’s time to give it up. And when she meets the impossible Timothy Elliott, she decides that she gave up on love just in time—the man had zero redeeming qualities! She couldn’t fathom why anyone would trust their child in his care! Timothy, on the other hand, can’t believe how open and honest Samantha is. She’s everything his written words once were. But his spoken ones keep getting in the way. Will Timothy ever find the right words to express his growing affection for her? Will she be able to slow down enough to listen, or will love elude her once again? Come read between the lines of romance! Grab your copy today!
Susan Warner was born in New Bern, North Carolina. These days she lives in the melting pot of the United States, New York. She writes about sweet small-town romance as a way to remember her roots. She has been blessed with four grown children and a man who cares about her enough to understand when the voices start-up in her head, it’s time for her to go to work. She originally started telling stories to her kids to benefit from learning about country values even though they weren’t raised there. As time went on, she found others who wanted to hear her stories. Stories that believe in the goodness of people, the sanctity of love, and understand that forgiveness and compassion make us better human beings. When Susan isn’t writing, she reads voraciously, volunteers to help the homeless and animals when she can, and is eternally trying to get the gauge right in her knitting.

❤️❤️Silver Notes is just as touching and romantic as the first three in the series! The love letters Tim is writing to his wife who has passed away are so heart-wrenching and beautiful. The love story between Tim Samantha and Iris was just meant to be. As with all of Susan’s books there is plenty of humor and Romance. Silver Notes is An amazing combination of both. Definitely recommend this one!❤️❤️
The fourth book in the Silver Fox series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Brash, retired Army veteran, Timothy Elliott, his granddaughter Iris, and Samantha Doyle's story. They start off with her not liking him, but then they go through so much together. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. Susan Warner , you wrote yourself a hit ! The emotions, the solutions , the characters ! I smiled, I had tears , I felt love ! On a side note, there were a lot of typos and written mistakes . Was that because it was a free book and no one to proof read ? Thank you for the book .
