This was a super short read that gave the reader just a touch of Baseball, Romance and of course a bit of hope for the ultimate romantic in them! The book was full of fun, excitement and a bit of drama, but it was a book that made the reader smile and feel good and that is all that we want in the world right now!!
I love author Naomi Springthrop's writing style, her characters and her antics. She never fails to bring a smile to this reader's face! This is a must read by her and a must read now, because everyone can use a happily ever after in their lives!

This is a fast paced short read with an interesting storyline.
Sindy is a fashion designer and is clumsy. She is getting pressured by her friend to go to her 10 year high school reunion.
KC is a major league baseball player and has changed a lot since high school. He is only going to the reunion in search of the girl he loved in high school.
At the reunion Sindy sees the most handsome guy she has ever saw. People keep calling him KC, but she doesn't remember a KC from school. When he comes over to her and gives her some clues she can't believe who it is.
Sweet story that ends with a HEA.

This was a short read but, it was interesting.

A short, fun read. Sindy, a clumsy but lovable woman, is convinced by her friend to attend their high school reunion. There, she unexpectedly reunites with KC Prince, a now-famous baseball player who used to be a skinny guy hopelessly in love with her. Fate brings them together again, and soon they find themselves falling for each other.
While the story was cute, it felt a bit rushed—especially how Sindy suddenly found KC 'hot' and 'handsome,' which seemed to spark her interest. Their relationship moved quickly, with a kiss after what felt like their first date (KC inviting her to watch his game after the reunion). It was sweet, but more infatuation than love.

tired, offensive writing
In the opening paragraphs the h’s bestie refers to the h’s “unreal” body while lamenting the fact that the h is able to “eat whatever she wants”, and apparently her only flaw is a booty with cellulite. What?! Then in the (next? first?the numerations are confusing) chapter, the exhausting and generally overdone trope of the Mean Girls (aka cheerleaders) the h is dreading seeing at her upcoming reunion are referred to as “b!tches” repeatedly.

This is a fast paced read that will pull you in from the first page. The chemistry between Sindy and KC was evident. She is as stubborn as they come and did not realize he was meant for her. KC was not about to give up and wanted Sindy. I am very glad he continued on his quest to win her love. I highly recommend this read.

Cute second chance romance with a baseball flavor. KC seemed like quite the catch! And the girls’ friendship at the beginning is fun and the conversation witty. Just like bffs.
