First of all this is a LOCAL AUTHOR from our town of Vanderhoof ! Her first book and I want to thank her for giving me this book to read ! It was an excellent book . A 16 year old boy leans against a wall in a Cathedral in England and is transported to 1300’s and the adventure begins . Micheal must help the templars and he must be careful and learn to become somewhat accustomed to going back to the 1300’s. I like how the author would show little things that we do in our 21st century now that they never would have heard of back then and how Sometimes it can be a bad thing because it can be seen as Witchery or sorcery . Excellent writing and so well organized and worded . I love the ending and just maybe there will be a sequel ? I am sure there is one in the future ! Thanks Again Aline for a fabulous read!!
Loved this historical suspense story! I’ve been fascinated by the Templars since I first read The Da Vinvi Code. Knight Terrors doesn’t just share the history of the Templars with the reader, it draws you into their world. You follow Michael through the first awkward days of him adjusting to life in the early 1300s, uncertain and sometimes horrified by the clothes, food, hygiene and social expectations. He has to integrate while moving forward in his unexpected, and originally unwanted, quest. By the end, I was seriously attached to several of the local characters and holding my breath, worrying about them all. I’d highly recommend this book to young adults, but also to adults of any age interested in a well-reasearched, well-written historical novel.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book about a boy who is transported back in time to help the Knights Templar. It's characters are interesting, and the story is fun.
I know the author very well, and have always appreciated her knowledge and spirit. This is her first book, and I cannot twist to see how Michael's adventures continue!
