Nostalgic page turner

The story starts as a nostalgically rewind of life in the 1970's and those days when life seemed like it had no ending and/or no responsibilities. Reliving the storyline of the draft lottery totally brought me back to sitting in my parents living room watching my number come up #84 and knowing I would soon be inducted in to the military and sent odd to Viet Nam with a fifty fifty chance of coming home in a body bag. Then the story takes a twist and a turn making the book a total page Turner up to the final pages.

Read in one day, could not put this one down! Author is an acclaimed journalist from the PNW. His mystery novel takes place in the iconic Palm Springs area in the late 70’s. Loved the history he shares as well as the characters he develops and the lure that feeds you through the book! Awesome job John Perry, can’t wait for your next book!
