This season was great because we've finally met Beatrice the bitch, Raeliana came clean to Noah, Rae and Noah both confessed to each other and the main plot finally started ticking. My boy Noah is definitely the best male lead!!

Ok Theory time. I think the Beatrice is not from another world, she is the original Raeliana ヾ(☆▽☆) Why? Because she said that she wanted to change her 'fate' and we had a flashback scene about original Raelina. I think the original Raeliana noticed Francis was trying to kill her and decided to use black magic to place her soul in Beatrice to take over her body. But what I dont understand is what exactly happened to original Beatrice? Where did her soul go after Raeliana's soul go into her body? Who was the shadow person who pushed our Raeliana?

So many questions. Cant wait for S4!! (〜￣△￣)〜

4 stars. I don't know if this is a manhwa or isekai story structure thing, but after the first volume or so, the story kind of drags a bit or slows down to build-up plot threads from the beginning while aslo adding new ones. There is little explaining but random showing of something happening in the background and at this point that is most of the story with maybe one casual reminder of the main character's overall goal (staying alive) and a few mentions of something related to it (finding Beatrice--the original novel's female main character). Maybe it works better as a serial, but all together and seeing the trickle forward with random side quests and focus (eating gruel) made it drag a bit more for me. I still like this one more than others when it started to drag, but without the pretty art and tie-in from the first two volumes this would not hold up beyond an "explore some of the world episodes." It felt filler. At this point, I don't really care about who is trying (poorly with all the failed attempts) to kill the character(s). Just shit or get off the pot. I don't care who they are as the mention of them brings out the fun exploratory story, and they seem rather incompetent. The tension is not rising anymore after two volumes of death lurking around every corner. Multiple storylines are being juggled and not well enough to sit in this single volume cohesively. I like the story, the world, the art, and the characters. I like long series...but I'm getting whiplash from exploding jewels to buying jewels to no mention of jewels beyond a vague not discussed quest (maybe) to Beatrice is here, but this guy who met her doesn't know the fmc, which we find out after they've been chatting for a bit so the raised tension felt tired once his lack of awareness was revealed. It's the equivalent of a jump scare without payoff and feels like cheap storytelling. I hope there is some payoff for volume 4, or this will be a series I borrow instead of buy.

That said. I read it immediately but felt disappointment and frustration growing with each chapter as it continued to not fulfill the promises made or even make steps toward them. Instead, we got fluff with "warnings."

annnd we have yet another great season! this author is seriously a genius. since there isn't much i can say without spoiling everything, i recommend reading my review of the first season for reasons why you should read this masterpiece ;)


SPOILERY THOUGHTS

Sir Adam can be my sugar baby - literally! (cue the awkward laughter...)

in this season, we were introduced to more facets of Raeliana's character, which i liked but also found... frustrating. okay, hear me out: her worries about Noah and Beatrice's potential attraction drove me off the ROOF. like, why couldn't you see it, girl?! this man is crazy about you. i swear, if Raeli had kept on pushing him away, i would've jumped into my screen and snatched him away from her.

regardless, i'm glad the author knocked something inside her head, even if her epiphany of "enjoying the present" was extremely abrupt after having ONE conversation with her "dad." speaking of abrupt, i expected that her confessing she was from another world would make Noah question his reality or something, but it was strange how he accepted it without feeling any conflict, which didn't make sense logically. this manhwa actually does a very good job in terms of logic, so these two abrupt events, as you can imagine, are kind of disappointing.

i remember how i've always wanted Noah's character to have more depth, but i guess he'll forever be just another bland love interest. sigh, another character with great potential wasted. i also wish that he had more screen time (Justin can get it with Vivian Shamal), and that his interactions with Raeli had more depth instead of always the classic rescuing-the-damsel trope whenever they see each other. i'm pretty tired of that, honestly. usually i don't mind this particular trope, but it happened way too many times to my liking. so Raeli, please stop getting into situations where you always need protecting - you and i both know you can shoot everyone dead, and i like that.

i expected that Beatrice would turn out to be a bitch. why does the original main character almost always have to have a hidden side? despite this, i still have many questions about her backstory and motives. i can't wait to uncover what they truly are.

i appreciated Raeli's guilt and inner turmoil every time she saw her family (this doesn't happen in many isekai manhwa, so a huge bonus point for the author), and i really liked the side characters. humor was another major bonus point since the author ALWAYS pulls it off so well in every single situation. the salamander royal beast, Raeli's apprehension of drooling on Noah's lap, and the subtle emotions and reactions from all the characters were so hilarious!

i'm a tiny bit disappointed with this season because of the potential the author displayed in previous seasons, which made my expectations yay high. but negatives aside, i really did like these chapters and do not regret reading them - otherwise, i wouldn't have given this season 4.25 stars. it was a masterpiece if we ignore these minor discrepancies (...that bothered me a lot, but i'll forgive them because i like the characters so much).

overall, not as well-written as the previous seasons, but definitely very solid compared to some other manhwa. onto the next season!

It looks like the changes of Raeliana staying in this world are finally catching up to the story. With her new friendships and influences affecting events will things still turn out alright for this couple in the end?

Also in the next season hopefully we will get answers to what the heck Beatrice end goal is.

The torch lighting process was a hugely bigger deal than I thought it was going to be since she had to go through days of purification, when the contest was won by people other than her........🤷‍♀️ And the High Priest.....seemed thrown in. Most of this volume seemed completely unrelated lol, I'm guessing it's because the High Priest will play a greater roll later so he had to be introduced somehow but.......it seemed random and the torch lighting seemed way blown out of proportion just to include the High Priest....

So Beatrice and Lady Shamal are......friends?!?!?!?! Were they in the original timeline too?!?!?! Does that mean Beatrice is an original bad guy?!?!?!

Noah caring about Raeliana is so sweet. After the ghost, getting her jewelry that is safe, and when she is sick! They are getting closer and I love it!! The kiss!!! I hope Raeliana remembers it!!

¡Por fin estalló todo! (Literalmente 😂)

Raeliana por fin, ¡POR FIN! le dice a Noah que también lo ama, y le cuenta toda la historia, y amo que le cree.

Los enfrentamientos pasivo/agresivos de Noah y Justin son lo mejor del mundo. Y aunque amo a Noah, quiero muchísimo a Justin, me hace reír tanto y es tan adorable que quiero que Raeli se quede con los dos.

Beatrice por fin aparece y deja ver sus intenciones, Noah no la acepta y más cuando se da cuenta que trató de matar a el amor de su vida.

Esto se está poniendo cada vez mejorrrrr.

Die Jagd ist vorbei und Noah zieht Raeliana weiter auf. Ausgerechnet Keith, Noahs bester Freund, zeigt starkes Interesse an Raeliana. Das passt Noah gar nicht. Und wäre das nicht genug, hat der Hohepriester ebenfalls Interesse an der jungen Lady.
Genau mein Humor und passende Mischung aus Vorstellung neuer Charaktere und Interaktion mit dem Male Lead Noah.

It’s honestly crazy that I’ve never heard of this webtoon before. It seems to be very popular and it’s very well written. God I can’t wait for the fmc to adress the fact she doesn’t feel like she can make decisions with her body because it isn’t hers. I hope the mmc learns she’s from another world. In general I love this series, but I have to say that the whole part of the story arc where Raeliana displays hang ups about how things "should have been" not only seemed rather ridiculous to me, but they didn't seem to incorporate well with the story at all.

This takes place at the end of the anime, but get a lot more scenes than what the anime showed.
