Rate this book
Another thrilling volume in the Peter Lucas series. Faced with choosing between the love of his life and the country he loves the US Army's most lethal sniper wrestles with his identity while fighting for his life in the rugged jungles of Southeast Asia. Meanwhile half a world away a threat to his anonymity hangs on the abilities of his mentor and the most unlikely of allies, his own brother. Internal demons, are tearing Peter apart. Nightmares both past and present threaten to drive him insane, paranoia and distrust push him into a state of anxiety fueled by the fact that the Soviets have discovered his Army call sign and have put on a full court press to find the identity of the man responsible for the chaos happening in both Vietnam and Cambodia. Mix in a gorgeous girlfriend, a treasonous agent and a daring night skydive from 25,000 feet and you have the makings of a frenetic action packed adventure.

Another good book

Again, a good read. As before though there were problems in the book. I don't know if the editor was lazy when reading the book or if spellcheck took over when printing the e-book version. Stupid errors like "hilo" instead of "helo," and "staff" instead of "staph." Some of the grammer was off throughout the book. But, on the whole it was a good book and difficult to put down at times.

A shadows doubt.

I have read the first 2 books and I have to say they were very good. But I will still say when you are going to have a badass in the story keep the heart wrenching romance out of it because you make the badass look weak. The women go in knowing the man’s present job and then they turn into clingers. That’s all I have to say on the subject.
