The Fallback

Rate this book
The line between friendship and love can be blurred.
The Fallback is an erotic romance that deals with love and friendship, and how sometimes what your heart truly desires was there right in front of you the whole time.
And sometimes it starts in the most unlikely of places-like a chat room.

This typing sh**'s lame. It's hard to jerk off and type with one hand.
You are not... Are you?
I'll let you watch if we Skype.
Yeah...thanks for the offer, but no. :-|
What? I have a pretty d**k.
Yes—I'm sure you do.
And yes, I am stroking it.
...
To your pic.
I don't believe you.
Which one?
The one with you in that tiny pink bikini.
OMG! Do not jack off to my pics!
Okay, fine.I'll just do it later.

R.K. Knightly is a pen name for a civil servant based in the San Francisco-Bay area. Born in New Jersey, she moved to California in 2007 with her husband, a San Francisco native.
First interested in poetry from a young age, she wrote her first short story in second grade. It was a little mystery/thriller she drew the pictures for. Her teacher, Mrs. Michaels, told her mother that she should think about writing as a career, though she should probably look into hiring an illustrator for the art work. Ms. Knightly took journalism classes throughout high school and creative writing courses in college.
A lover of all genres of books from autobiographies to sci-fi, Ms. Knightly started writing erotic romance in early 2018. After a few months and two books, she came up with an idea for an erotic supernatural romance which has become popular on the Dreame app. Now she splits her time between the two genres, though her most popular works on Dreame are her supernatural novels.
In her spare time outside of writing, Ms. Knightly spends times with her fabulous extended family.

I loved the book. It tells a story which showcases how a friendship between Cole and Tatiana developed into something more while they're apart in two cities. Both of them are attracted to each other. But Grey is in love with his friend and Tati doesn't want to spoil their friendship. The story goes on to show how they became a couple. There is also a crazy ex who doesn't to leave Tatiana alone. ❤️❤️ I loved Grey's character and how he charms every girl, but Tati somehow manages to keep him grounded, somewhat.

I loved the story. Nothing I love better than sarcastic and realistic banter...and throw in some erotic romance and you have a great story from a great writer. I’ve read all her books and impatiently wait for new chapters on her Patreon.

Ummmm….. I loved it! I really was thrown with it seeing how they nearly started together and it was outside forces that got in the way. It was refreshing to me. That is not to say their wasn’t any angst or suspense in it.

Honestly just not a great book. Poorly written and poorly edited. So many random grammar errors. The characters had no depth and the “plot” seemed like an after thought.
