After five years of being in an unstable relationship, Audrienne Wilson has decided she wants to unwrap a new love for Christmas.
Working for Southern Skies airlines, she meets new people all the time, but she never felt a connection with anyone until the day she met Davon Hampton. Their chemistry was undeniable, but she never acted on it because she was still hanging on to the tattered pieces of her relationship with Rodney. After a major blow-up, she calls it quits and prepares to tell Davon she’s ready to take a chance on love with him, but the moment she becomes available—he isn’t. Will Audrienne give up on what she wants or will she stop a nothing to get the thing she wants most on her Christmas list—Davon.

One of her dreams was to be a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, but when that didn’t happen, she continued to focus on songwriting. She knew she could shine brightest if she could work in a field where she could create, but she had an awkward start in finding her voice.

After graduating, she had a short stint as a feature writing before returning to school and entering corporate America. Needing a creative outlet in between courses, Michelle got inspired and began working on her first novel, Truth Is....
In December 2015, Brown Girls Books put out a call for submissions for an anthology called, The Ex Chronicles. Michelle's submission was selected out of the 300 submissions received. The anthology was published March 8, and would be her first published work. Truth Is... will be her second published manuscript.

Audie wasted 5 years with Rodney before she had enough. She also put up with Laila's nonsense and again, ended up wasting a lot of valuable time she could have shared with Davon. A little surprised at the few, lack of editing errors, that should have been caught and corrected before publication. Miss Michelle is usually on top of that.
I enjoyed Davon and Audie's story but I needed it to continue just a bit longer. I was quite disappointed it was ending so soon.. I love Michelle's other books as well. Can't wait for the next book!
Audrienne was in a not so great relationship for five years and all she wanted was to be loved like Christmas. Being a ticket agent she met Davon and he made his intentions clear numerous times, let me love you. Finally fed up with her boyfriend and her dead end relationship, she ended it. A year later Davon comes back to town, but he wasn't alone. Audie was devastated, but she wasn't sure if they were together. Davon Making his intentions known to Audie again, she wasn't sure after meeting with Laila and being lied to. When Laila finally came clean, Audie went after Davon. I loved the story, but Audie drove me crazy. She really didn't know what she wanted and I felt she needed to get it together and figured it out. Davon told her what he wanted from the beginning, I just couldn't understand why she didn't believe it. I'm glad she got it together before it wss too late, but I wanted shake her, slot. Great Christmas read!!!
Audie, an airline attendant, was stuck in a dead-end relationship with Rodney while the handsome and charming frequent flyer, Davon kept vying for her attention. When she finally decided to give him a chance, he may have found a new love interest.
The story was a hilarious - Team Joelle! Yet, it had a deeper meaning as a tale of how people waste time with relationships that no longer serve them and fail to go after what they truly want in life. That was an important lesson that was delivered in this short novella. Audie was that person one thousand percent, and even her co-worker and friend said it best, she got on our nerves. Her heart was entirely too understanding. However, her heart was the part that attracted Davon to her. The cattiness between Audie and Laila served up great drama, but we do wish we would’ve seen more of Davon, with his corny and cute self. Overall, this Christmas-themed novella was a fast-paced, cute, and lovely holiday read. Would love to see a part two of their love story, possibly next Christmas?
Two women want the same man but there’s only one who truly has his heart and the other who’ll stop at nothing to get his....Audrienne, a ticket agent for Southern Skies encounters Devon, a frequent flyer of the airline and sparks fly between them. The only problem is, Audrienne is in a relationship though it has gone nowhere in five years. Devon offers her a sweet proposal that makes Audrienne rethink her current situation. But Devon has a few surprises of his own and her name is Laila. Lol! This was a good, quick read. I liked that it was mainly set in an airport and the overall premise. And I absolutely loved Joelle. She was hilarious. The ending was good also. Reminded me of a Hallmark Christmas movie which I’m a big fan of.
I loved this story!!!! Audie and Davon were so cute together.😊 They had some definite chemistry, just off timing. But the pact they made was sweet. Even though that Certified Nut Laila was this close to ruining it.🙄 I mean she was legit bats*** crazy!😳 So glad Audie didn't fall for her craziness. And that last scene, it was like something out of your favorite movie! Loved it!!!! Great Book!
This was an awesome read and I thought it was good to see the unexpected twists and turns. I enjoy suspense and excitement waiting to see how things will play out! Great job you kept my attention 😊
When, it was time for love to hit like a lightning strike for this heroine; it hit Audie straight without a chaser. Even with Laila's foolishness trying to steal Davon from Audie, I could sense the drama would not last to long. The story was the sweetest holiday tale, and I think you will enjoy it.
Now this was a wonderful Christmas story! It was a great holiday romance filled with some engaging moments, instant attraction and chemistry, drama and all the “feel goods!” I thoroughly enjoyed this and highly recommend it!! Kudos, Michelle!! 💜
Good story. Audrienne and Davon fall in love for 5 year at the airport while he always flew the airline she worked for back and forth from Denver to Atlanta and they tried to date 2018 but she was in a relationship. they promised to start a relationship next year -2019-if they both were single. well they both have changes in 2019 and when he returns to Atlanta 2 wks before Xmas, Audrienne plans to tell him her new but a woman gets between them and plays kiddie games with his cell phone to keep them apart and then lobbies to get him with the old pregnancy claims. Audie sees thru the game and gets the woman, Laila, to confess in the cell phone scheme to Davon. Get the book to find out how Audie, Davon, and Laila end up.
