If she had not put her foot down Oz would have continued to run over her and take her for granted and humiliate her. She saw her father do it to his other baby mommas and Roz was the only one he put a ring on it. Gloria saw how Roz was the only one Mick cared about, and she took a lesson from her stepmother since her father and Oz were cut from the same cloth.
Oz was just a fun-loving happy go lucky Oz. But when Glo put her foot down, he had to rethink his actions. Losing Glo scared him so bad that when her accident happened he was shaken up. Mick is still Mick keeping tabs on Glo and in her business. Between he and Oz, they were ready to find out who was trying to take out Oz and Glo and why.
I always enjoy Mallory's books. I'm always trying to figure out the whodunit. This time I knew who didn't do it, I just couldn't figure out why until it was revealed. I just love how the Gabrini and Sinatra families come together in good times and bad. At least this time, they've come to see Odysseus and Gloria begin their HEA.
This book took me almost two months to read. It's another disappointing book by Mallory Monroe, or her ghostwriter. The plot was thin. The characters were flat. There is nothing about this book that has Mallory Monroe's signature.
If you didn't know the characters, you wouldn't have a clue who these people were. None of them were the people you had grown to love who brought so much laughter, action and steamy sex. There was action but no excitement. There was no steam to Gloria's and Oz's relationship. The sex was laughable. The book was all over the place. Even Mick playing a large role didn't help. Mick seems to have repressed. All of the progress he made as a father was missing. All of the Sinatras or Gabrinis couldn't put this story back together.
There's one more book, I may read by this author. If it's as flat as some of the others, especially the last two, I'm finished. I've had good times reading her books for several years. It seems to be over.
Oz and Gloria, are finally one! I love their story, because Oz Drakos made it so. It was a bit touch and go there for a minute, when Gloria was fed up. But Oz made sure that Gloria's faith in him was restored. He passed the ultimate test any man was presented with. And as only Oz could do, he passed with flying colors. Such a sweet and touching story with the perfect ending. And what an ending it was💥💥💥💞👍😁💟
Finally! Since the introduction of Gloria Sinatra I have been waiting to see who her Alpha man would be, Oz is the perfect match! Mallory, you never let me down!
I loved it! Seeing Oz make mistakes and grow was moving. Gloria was so strong and trying her best every moment, I saw myself in her. Dealing with a man and deciding enough is enough is tough but you gotta choose yourself sometimes. I'm just glad they found a way back to each other, Oz and Gloria are a beautiful couple and I'm excited to see more!
Mallory Monroe did it again. What a great story. It was full of love, laughs, and action. It was nice reading about all the Drakos, Sinatras, and Gabrinis. Great book! Loved it
I could not put down this book Miss Munroe has outdone herself Oz showed what it was like to love. He is a jovial person and take it to another level I am glad Gloria found love. She is a sweet girl and has daddy issues but she woman up and led her path on her own
Oz & Glo did what most people didn't think they were capable of they got a HEA.The things that had to be done to get there wasn't an easy pill to swallow. It's always a pleasure to see the whole gang together but they making Teddy look real bad.I was very surprised to see Nikki be willing to take on Mick's wrath to keep God's serect and the length Teddy went to protect her.I truly don't have anything good to say about Bella .I'm glad tho Mick not only told her but showed her that she couldn't even compare to his wife.I was also shocked of all the claim Oz was the one who would get that high up on the list that would cause the actual Alex would do to save his ass.The wonderful wizard of Oz,and Glo have a long road ahead and because of all The changes it want be easy but,I look forward to the ride.I sincerely hope that with such an extended family all these characters live on for the foreseeable future and beyond. As always mallory job well done.
REVIEW: Oz Drakos the a fun-loving man, who was afraid of commitment, and with the possibility of losing Gloria, he had to really decided if this was the woman for her.
This installment takes a look at Gloria & OZ relationship. From the beginning Gloria has been all in and she is really to settle down with a husband and kids, but Oz is not or so he thinks he is not.
Gloria has had enough, Oz is constantly standing Gloria up, he asks her out and never show up and she has finally said enough is enough, there is no coming back this time. A fiend of Gloria come to town for a conference and give Oz some competition and let’s just say that Oz is haven’t. FBI closes in on Oz, where his empire is being destroyed and when he finds out who and why is behind it, he will not be happy. You will get to see all the Sinatra, Gabrini and Gloria mother in this story. I look forward to the next Oz book.
This was a great read. I enjoyed the book. Gloria has finally grown up and it looks good on her. Oz finally stepped up and it is about time. I'm consistently disappointed in Bella Caine. She has nothing to offer but a beyond beautiful face and a rotten core. Her only saving grace is that she seems to love her kid, but time will tell. I hope in future books she will finally get over Mick and let Roz be. Now, I'm getting a little antsy. When will we get Teddy's story and will it be worth the wait? Anywho, this is a great read. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
This one was a bit rushed. All of Monroe’s books are must reads and this is no exception. This book lost a star because there was no time devoted to showing Oz getting the hang of a balanced relationship or Gloria righting her business ship. In the world described, their issues were not just a matter of commitment. Monroe hasn’t developed her characters as well as we know she can and has in the case of her Trina and Reno and Dutch and Gina.
I still enjoyed this adventure and I look forward to more President Laine books and Alex and Kari installments.
I loved this book! I am so happy that Gloria and Oz worked it out and had a happy ending! They seem like such opposites, but was perfect for each other! I am looking forward to reading more about them, but Ms. Monroe, when are Teddy and Nikki going to get their happy ever after? I am so waiting for their wedding! Thanks again for this big, loving family and the reunion of them all!
A Very Good and Suspenseful Interracial Romantic Thriller
Oz Drakos: He Wants Her Back is a very good and suspenseful interracial romantic thriller that earned a rating of four stars. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book from my favorite author, Mallory Monroe. In this installment of Oz Drakos series, Oz finally realize how much he loves Gloria Sinatra and he has to fight to protect their love and her life. This book is exciting and suspenseful and I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romantic suspenseful thrillers.
This was really good! Although I am not fond of Gloria's mother (Bella Caine), I am relieved at the end that she behaved herself. She needs to let her jealousy of Roz go. I am so glad that Oz and Gloria got their HEA! I am wondering why Teddy and Nikki are taking so long to marry? Anyway, I love the comedy and the seriousness within the story and the love shown between Oz and Gloria! Good story!
The book was enjoyable. I liked that Oz and Gloria got their HEA. I enjoyed the ending and the humor that Oz brought, and that he brings out Gloria’s playful side.
I would have liked Oz’s guys from Greece be more authentic in their speech patterns. The dialogue sounded a lot like the Italian mob guys to me. But, overall an enjoyable read.
Lots of adventure still too come! At points, this book became a bit verbose! I'm not familiar with the Gabrini/Sinatra families and look forward to an introduction. One troubling pay was Mick the Tick and his habit of slapping women! That I will have a hard time accepting!!!
Wow! Oz and Gloria were a mess. They had plenty of ups and downs with their relationship. I’m glad they finally got it together . Oz is crazy as heck but you got to love this guy.
Another good book. Mick had me laughing with his answers... This is the Mick I love. Oz is the right one for Gloria. Mick with the slapping needs only be for people who try to harm his family. Not the family. Thanks for making my day.
This was well done. Miss Monroe hit this out of the park. Enough drama, intrigue, and don't forget Romance. Good story. Especially in the pandemic Thank you for the distraction.
I was happy that Gloria finally found a man who could love her. She had so many misses. I am also glad that Mick showed her how much he loved her. All this and a baby too.
Yes loved it, just what I needed another great story involving the Sinatra's. I really enjoy this author's writing and this book lived up to my expectations. I recommend you just can't be disappointed.
I chose my 5 star rating because this couple was made for was made for each other. The love that the these two have for each other is unmistakable. The two wedding songs were priceless.
Every time I read a book in this series and connecting series I wish I could be a part of this family then I remind myself these people not real 😀 but this artist of a writer knows how to weave a story well done MS Monroe until next time.
This was (1&2) great storyline! I couldn't put down the book! I just had to finish it in one track g cycle! Every to you would want in a romance novel filled withe intrigue, suspense, action, and love!
I love it!! I try to read as many as her books as possible. She's a great writer with great stories,I advise everyone to pick up a Mallory Monroe book today!!😍😍
