It’s the most wonderful time of the year and the Kelly boys are all full up with Holiday spirit. Well, mostly…
Connor’s freaking out because Chase is terrified of Santa; Declan’s trying to stop Heath from doing something drastic in the weeks before their baby is due; Owen and Blake are considering a big life change of their own; Brendan and Wade are suffering from a severe case of child interruption every time they try to jingle some bells; Aidan is learning not all publicity is good publicity in the lead up to the launch of his new show; and Shay’s not sure if he’ll ever get that glitter out of his hair…
What do you get when you combine six Kelly brothers, their six true loves, five adorable kiddies, the rest of the crazy Kelly family, even more meddlesome in-laws, and all the glitter Jamie could ask for?
Just a regular old Kelly Christmas…
Warning: This book is not appropriate for anyone who doesn’t like laughing, anyone who doesn’t like the holidays, or anyone who doesn’t like seeing gorgeous men in healthy, happy relationships that include lots of fun and steamy sexytimes.
An actual reader note: While it’s not strictly necessary to have read every single previous book in the Love & Luck series, readers will get the maximum enjoyment from O Come, All Ye Kellys if they are familiar with all the characters and their stories.
I got too confused with all the characters and their dynamics even though I love the family I do not think I need to read more about them I enjoyed this series too much although it went into a tailspin for me since the first book I loved and the others I liked very much but the last ones are not my favorites I hope to continue reading this author since I love how she writes and I can't wait to read more
This was a fun book. I really enjoyed visiting some of my favorite characters by Isla Olsen. This is definitely a book to be read after reading the other book in this series.
I was looking forward to this one, a little disappointed when I saw it was a short one, at first anyway. It’s crammed with Kelly’s. Despite the family tree, I’ve lost track of who everyone is. Some sweet moments, sex deprived moments, teasing for Finn’s story. As always Heath and Declan are ridiculous and the gag characters of the series. Most heartwarming is Owen and Blake with their little Elmo. Favourite part is still the group chats. A Christmas extra with a bit of everything.

I really love all the Kelly brothers and their significant others and they all got some fun and some lovely moments in this short story but the constant change of the couple in focus honestly made my head spin and definitely took from my enjoyment. I just prefer a flowing story to this book of snippets.
This was a hot mess. Way too much going on, hard to keep track of what is going on, overlaps stuff that's already happened in the other books. I'm out!
+ we are back with all couples & finn + I like the cover + kelly chat messages + Connor & Josh & Chase
- I had the feeling that Olsen really wanted everyone to get an even better HEA - too many stories squeezed together - it felt like she had to fill gaps - Heath/Dec bathing story with Caiplin we knew what was happening thanks to Ben&Aiden's book so no need to repeat it
The Kelly family is the heart of Isla Olsen’s Love & Luck series and this story should be read by those familiar with the series. The book flows through all of the brothers and their relationships and we get to see where they all are. It’s a really fun look at the family, not only during the holidays, but also into their stories and their lives from where we last left them.
This is a lighter story where life is moving along great for the family and they are all happy and have found the relationships they have been longing for. The author moves easily from one point of view to the next as we get a closer look at the brothers.
If you have followed along with the Kelly family, this is a book that should be on your list to read. The book also sets up Liam, another Kelly brother, and his story and relationship with Ellie and Cass, and it will certainly be fun to hang out again with the Kelly family in 2021.
The Kelly’s!!! Omg it was nice to have all the family in this one book bouncing from each family members pov! I love the Kelly’s. I’m really anxious to see what happens in Finns book when it comes out! Him, Elle and Cas sound like they have a good time together lol
The text chains are legendary in this series and I have never wanted to be part of a family more. They're loud, crazy and so full of love it makes me smile from ear to ear every time I read a book in this series. So many happy events and I'm already anxious for Finn's book. Hilarious and fantastic as always, an amazing way to celebrate the holidays.
Heat Factor: It’s like, five spicy peppers and a sprinkle of kink
Character Chemistry: Slightly variable, but these are meant to go easy, so that’s what they do
Plot: Sex without strings is going to be fiiiine. We’re all fiiiiiine.
Overall: Feel good but also forgettable
A couple of engagements, a few babies, and a lot of sex for Christmas. Pretty much everybody gets at least one POV chapter, so it’s a lot to keep track of. Also, Nick Russo’s English accent is possibly the worst I have ever heard in a professional audiobook narration.
I loved this book. My favourite part is still the Kelly family group chat’s especially their Ma trying to sensor their language even when Owen & Cait (the youngest) are about 24 and Shay (the oldest) is about 42. It makes all the characters seem like actual people. They made me smile and laugh. I also loved getting a snippet of what each couple is up to and their plans for the future. Wow, Finn’s book is going to be interesting especially with Ellie, Cass & his sex tape being leaked. Heath is still extremely open and just blurts out whatever he’s thinking and doesn’t care if it’ll make people uncomfortable. Hopefully Jake (their cousin & Shae’s charge) gets a book once he’s aged a few more years, since he came out to his Ma as gay in this book, her reaction wasn’t very nice, she’s a doormat to her ab*sive a*sehole homophobic husband, Jake’s stepdad, and basically justifies his actions by saying that he’s very good to her. He deserves someone awesome who loves and cares about him unconditionally. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
This was an adorable Christmas story - read in August, but you do what you do. I think my favorite part of this book was the small stories for each of the romances we've come to love with the peeks of what we have coming up with Liam and his sure to be fascinating lovestory with Cass and Ellie.
It was a quick read, one that made me absolutely delighted. I loved the small real time updates and the miniature plots of each couple - including the little peek into one of the spin off series with Spencer and Will.
The writing had the usual humor and steam that one would expect when reading anything regarding the Kellys. I feel like its a definite must read before we get Liam's book, as there are developments for each of the couples that will likely be mentioned in Liam's book.
I also say its a must read because everything in Isla Olsen's catalog is a must read, but that's another story.
This author is a thief who's scammed tens of thousands of dollars from her readers selling them special edition books via Kickstarter that don't exist that she never delivers on (from two different accounts, since she was banned from doing it again after her first scam). For over a year she's been telling lie after lie, giving excuse after excuse to supportive readers who just want what they paid for.
Fantastic read to wrap up some loose ends and hearing back from all our favourite characters from the Love & Luck series.
These little chapters give you an insight on how the Kelly siblings and their partners are getting on after the events of the previous books.
I liked seeing Ryan being fostered by Owen although I hated that the foster mum abandoned him. I also wondered how plausible it is that all the brothers wanted to start a family so soon after getting together with the partners. I’m sure in real life they would have preferred to enjoy each other before the “burden” of a child, particularly with the younger siblings.
If you're like me and miss catching up with characters from your past reads, you love it when one of your favorite authors finds a way to share a little bit from everyone at Christmas! This book bounces between all of the guys in the Kelly family and even foreshadows the next book in the series! Guys, kids, sexy times, interrupted times and so much love! This book is definitely not standalone - and it will make you want to go back and re-read the entire Love and Luck Series... but it is a five star read!
Sweet but exhausting holiday catch-up with the Kelly clan. I love Isla Olsen's sense of humor and ability to keep all the characters sorted in this collection of chapters from the POV of the MCs of each of the books in the series. For me it was a bit too much, except for Owen and Blake's storyline, which I wanted more of. It was great to catch up with everyone, but I really didn't need all the gorey details. But that's me, as there's a good reason I only had one child. If you have enjoyed the series, you should enjoy this book, too.
Although I loved every single one of the individual couples' books, this one didn't quite get me the same way. Unfortunately I think there were too many couples and not enough pages to really delve into it and as such, it was hard to keep the couples straight in my head and remember who was supposed to be with who.
That being said, I did love getting a chance to meet back with all the couples that I loved in the single stories and it's renewed my love of the Kelly family. I can't wait for Finn's book. It's going to be an interesting one for sure.
This was on the short side and featured a ton of characters. We got like everyone’s POV from previous books (Heath, Declan, Blake, Owen, Jamie, Shay, etc.) plus a few new POVs like Finn and Jake. Some of it wasn’t new information if you’ve read the previous books, but some of it was. It was nice to get to see a little more from all of these characters, but I wouldn’t say this was a fully fleshed out book since we only got short snippets from each person with around 1-2 chapters each. Owen was probably my favorite POV and then Heath/Declan. Maybe 3.5 out of 5 stars.
This is the perfect Christmas read for the Kelly family. It’s full of crazy shenanigans, pure fluff, hilarious banter and text exchanges, and so much love and happiness that I permanently had a smile on my face. I particularly adored catching up with Connor and Josh and I loved how gorgeously excited Connor was about celebrating Christmas with Chase. It was fantastic seeing more snippets of each of their lives, and made me immediately want to do a reread of the whole series!
I loved how this last book 7 tied loose ends and reminded us of all the characters and relationships and each chapter brought another epilogue. It was really cool how each couple celebrated the holidays and went on with their lives. I loved the Kelly family and all seemed loving and level headed and normal and i wish all families could be like them plus they were so funny and sarcastic.I loved the whole series!
This was perfect! I loved catching up with all the Kellys! I wish ever author that writes a series would do a book like this! I loved how they told everyone’s story in their own POV. I just loved everything about it!! I also listened to the audio which was great! She used a different narrator for this book which I liked. It was a fresh difference for a book where every character was voice before by different narrators.
It's lovely to revisit these happy couples. Then I realised I haven't read about Finn yet. It feels like Pokemon for me right now, gotta have em all. But really, I wanna keep reading about their family, their life, and their beautiful (and steamy) love.
Oh god, I just read all these not that long ago and I was still so confused as to who was who because there are just so many goddamn Kellys running around XD. I think it might have worked better for me if all the chapters about a couple's subplot happened at once but then the timeline might be weird and confusing so I get it.
This was a really sweet addition to the Love & Luck series! It gave us a chance to revisit all the Kelly siblings of books past and also set the scene for Finn's book. I would definitely recommend that you read the other books before you read this one cause it's a mix of all the couples from the other books. If you enjoyed them then you'll like this one too!
Was a good book but very redundant if you have read the series thus far. The new storyline between Blake and Owen was new and also I don't think Shay and Jamie were engaged by the end of the previous book yet. There are also some teasers about Finn's upcoming book. I still enjoyed it for the most part.
