She may be small, but she's on a big journey around the world. Join Ermine on her travels to London, Sydney, and New York! Ermine is one fabulously funny and furry heroine who can’t help but find adventure wherever she goes. Enjoy three stories from bestselling and award-winning author Jennifer Gray, with gorgeous black-and-white illustrations from Elisa Paganelli throughout.
Jennifer Gray has been writing children's comedy for a couple of years. She is also a Barrister and she knows how to spot a cat burglar when she sees one, especially when he's a large tabby with a chewed ear and a handkerchief round his neck that says Atticus Claw. Jennifer's other books for children include Guinea Pigs On Line, co-written with Amanda Swift and published by Quercus. Jennifer lives in London and Scotland with her husband and four children, and of course Henry, a friendly but enigmatic cat.
“I’ve never seen a weasel dance to the didgeridoo before.” “I’m not a weasel, I’m a stoat!”
In @JenniferGrayBks & @elisaupsidedown’s The Travels of Ermine: The World Tour, the adventures of everyone’s favorite little stoat take her to New York, Sydney, & London! As she tours each city, she embarks on many adventures and meets lots of fun characters.
A new favorite discovery… I can’t get enough of this book in every way. Adore the illustrations and how readable this is for kids, but Ermine’s adventures and the information readers will learn about each of these cities is also incredible! The perfect mixture of all things story for young readers! 🇬🇧🗽🦘🌏
I just finished this combo book. It is three stories about a stout traveling the world. Granted the three countries are all English speaking countries. However in her travels she solves three mysteries and these mysteries are fun and cute. My kids loved these three tales and will want to visit, Central Park, the Sydney opera house, London tower and any of the place mentioned. This was a Fun and addictive read. But don’t take my word for it read it yourself!
Journey around the world with Ermine the Stoat (not weasel!) as she visits New York, Australia, and London. Her adventures had us laughing and cheering her on as she finds herself in all sorts of scrapes and mysteries. Cute stories to share as a read aloud. My 5 yo and I agree we liked London best, followed by New York, and then Australia.
I read this while my 9-year old daughter read it. It's a fun silly book which made it hard for me to focus on. She actually said she wouldn't recommend it to her mom to read it.
