Spring is in the air and so are the lust demons and luck imps. You know—cupids and leprechauns. The campus is an infested twitterpated muddle. However, dodging the imps’ snares may be the least of my worries when ghosts set their sights on me.

My name is Victoria Grey. I’m a witch with a curse to break and a coterie to claim.

Wildeward is an academy for magicals and monsters. Home for lost souls. Asylum for those they want forgotten. A golden cage I don’t want to leave, but I cannot stay.

Blood and magic found five men of Wildeward to save me: Doyle, my vampire professor; Jekyll and Hyde, the contrary werewolf brothers; Frankie, the shy doctor with a secret; and Achoris, the sleeping oracle who haunts my dreams. Some would call them monsters, but will they be mine?

New classes have started, but my peers and professors distrust my newfound abilities. Someone is always watching me. While Regina is on a mission to oust me, Dr. Stein will do anything to possess me. Within the coterie, loyalties will be tested and bonds will be forged. The Hunters may have gone to ground, but something big is coming.

It’s going to take more than a little lust and a lot of luck to get out of this trap. I’m afraid my demons will only be satisfied with my blood.

This is a Reverse Harem series with some light m/m content and a non-bully romance. Recommended for mature readers.

Gwyneira Blythe is a romance novel junkie with a love of all things witchy, paranormal, and historical, plus the occasional dashes of sci-fi when the mood hits.

She loves stroopwafels with her hot beverages, believes there will never be a thing as too much garlic, lives for ASMR music while writing, and deep down holds tight to the belief that magic is real and in all of us.

When she's not writing, it's a mad world of toddler tantrums, dogs barking, and a cat dashing underfoot all while sneaking kisses from the bemused husband.

Does every book get better? Yes, yes I think they do. This is such a fun series and I look forward to the next addition. Hopefully I’ll be back to write a better review soon, this series definitely deserves much more attention.

A completed coven

I love this series. It incorporates all the things to love about historical romance, PNR, and the magical advancement gives an almost steampunk type feel.

BLOOD MOON is the third book in the Wildeward Academy series and we find Victoria bonded to Doyle, engaged to Hyde, Jekyll being obstinate, Achoris still MIA, and Frankie avoiding her, considered a traitor by the others. Are you with me? You really, REALLY, need to read this as a series! Trust me.

If you follow my reviews, you'll know that I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books, but they just never quite managed to reach five stars, you know? Well, let me tell you, this one couldn't be anything but!!! So many factions, good and bad, vying for either Victoria's attention or trying to bring her down. It was fun and sassy, heartbreaking and full of sorrow. New characters are introduced, and others die off. This story simply didn't stop! It was all go from the very first word to the last - and I LOVED IT!

I adored the addition of Evetta and Gemma to Victoria's coterie, but now they need to get the Lodge back. I'm not ashamed to admit I was so sad at that part. The Lodge had made Victoria so welcome! I hope Lorna has a really bad time there! Victoria grows in leaps and bounds, becoming more comfortable both in her own skin, and who she is with the others.

Like the other two, this one ends not so much on a cliffhanger, but more so a teaser, tempting you with the continuation of the story that will definitely leave you chomping at the bit. A character-driven story that is full of action with steamy moments interspersed, this series just gets better and better.

BLOOD MOON is the best so far, but I honestly CAN'T WAIT for the next. Come on - read the series! I promise you, you won't regret it.

The plot thickens, the relationship stakes are raised…ah, Victoria. I love sitting in your world full of magic and wonder. Gwyneira Blythe has done it again with Victoria and her men, broadening the plot, tying up loose ends, and deepening Victoria’s bonds with her guys. I can honestly say I love her unique relationship with each of her guys, and I love how they continue to deepen and grow in complexity. (Doyle 4 life!!!)

This series is truly a delight and a treasure—full of sweet, tender, and hot moments and spun together with lush details true to the Edwardian time period. Added bonus that the last 20% of the book were action packed and truly unputdownable! We get to see Victoria fight and show what she’s learned, truly coming into her own as a witch and leader of her unique coterie. This series is a must-read…rolling right into book 4 with incredible ease (instant one-click download!). I can’t wait to finish book 4 and the forthcoming book 5 finale.

Wildeward 3

I really have issues that the clearly corrupt Alpha got what she wanted, the Alpha house, it's why I gave the book a 4 instead of a 5 stars. Saying her daughter will probably challenge her doesn't cut it for me, because what child kills her parent? Plus that library probably has secrets she'd use against her daughter. Very unsatisfied by it! Her cowardice should have been exposed, her allowing Stein his atrocities against her kind should have been exposed! That whole unmarked graveyard should have been risen to expose the truth and protect the students and village people! Having our gal win the labyrinth without her familiar and the crowd finding out was great! I figure the next book will be dealing with her dad's side piece and her lost mom. So on to the next book.

The pace really picks up in this one—lots of action, several of the mysteries begin to unravel, and Victoria nears the completion of her coterie. The villains in this one are the most intimidating of the series so far. Again, the ending has got me so interested in what the future may hold for these characters.

Continuing to enjoy the series

On to book four. Loving these characters and the story. I'm wishing for a movie of this tale, an adult cross between Harry Potter and every good witch/vampire movie. Ms. Blythe! Please say yes when Hollywood offers!
