Run, girl

Rate this book
Keeley, a simple plain Jane, hits the jackpot. [No, she did not win the lottery!] At least that's what she thinks when she marries the most eligible bachelor in New York City: Aaron, a wealthy cold-hearted heartthrob and Tycoon.
She wants to show the world that she deserves her position and bends over backward to fit into his world.
One beautiful day, Aaron hands her a document asking her to sign. A divorce paper...
"She's pregnant, and I need to take responsibility."
That is the last thing that keeps on playing in her mind before she takes her last breath.
Keeley dies, a 'hit and run'. [End of story. Not!]

For some unexplainable reason, she wakes up as her younger self. A young high school girl, around the time when she first meets her cheating husband.
Remembering her life with Aaron before she died, she makes a promise to herself that she will do everything in her power to avoid him at all costs.
Will she be able to keep her promise when Aaron has his own plans as well, specifically for her? Or will she repeat history and fall for him once more...
Why not journey with me and find out the truth behind their story.

Oh. My. God. This story took over my freaking life for like 5 days. I didn't do laundry. I didn't do dishes. I barely paid attention to my kids. I spend every damn second I had reading this on WebNovel. I have never read a reincarnation story before but this immediately drew me in after reading the preview chapters. This story was addicting and so well written! ♡♡♡♡♡

Chapter 1: Hit and Run

A little confusing to read at first but the opening is pretty much the same as the synopsis stated, Aaron is an ass and Keeley dies (*murdered*). However, she wakes up as her 17 year old self and decides to changer her life’s course and stay far away from Aaron.

Chapter 2: Familiar Icy Voice

Keeley’s plan to stay away from Aaron doesn’t go according to plan as she ends up sitting next to him in her class. Aaron also makes an odd comment on Keeley’s doodles on her paper; stating he forgot how she liked to do that. Which is odd unless Kelley isn’t the only one who was reborn?

Chapter 3: Mind If I Sit Here?

I feel so bad for Keeley she is really trying to stay away from Aaron, but for some reason he won’t leave her alone; it must be stated they don’t know each other yet! Aaron still manages to include himself in her lunch group and tries to start a conversation but he is easily ignored which he isn’t pleased about. We learn that the old Keeley gave up her dream college NYU to go to Boston University to be with Aaron, who as we all know was a major duck about it in her previous life. Aaron seems interested in the fact that Keeley might want to go to Boston University which is close to Harvard where he will be going, but Keeley shuts him down quick and leaves. I’m totally loving the badass Keeley!

Chapter 4: This Is Kidnapping

Okay yeah the title is self efficient, the man seriously kidnapped her just to drive her home. Keeley was not pleased and can’t figure out why he is so intrigued by her since they never even spoke and she tries to avoid him at al costs.

I think there are 2 possible answers: 1) Keeley wasn’t the only one given a chance to go back in time and do things over differently, I think Aaron was as well or 2) Aaron would have inserted himself in Keeley’s life one way or another, perhaps there was a plan all along?

Chapter 5: Toying With Her

I give Keeley props because I would have lost my damn mind. Aaron won’t leave her alone so she starts evasive maneuvers (all the claps to her!) which work until she has class with him and he basically asks her to the dance. This is met with a swift shut down but oddly enough Keeley’s name has been put on the list of volunteers for the dance. Naturally the teacher won’t let her out of it and she resigns herself to go. Also creepily enough, Keeley bumps into her murdered which happens to be Lacy’s friend who was obsessed with her but Lacy only had eyes for Aaron.

While Keeley tries to escape the creepo, Aaron catches her and wants to know why she is crying. Keeley completely loses it and yells at Aaron to leave her alone.

Chapter 6: I Don’t Need a Reason *FAVORITE*

Aaron kidnaps Keeley again but this time takes her to an expensive chocolate shop. The chocolate does help but Keeley will not be fooled by him again. They have a little convo over the chocolate but Keeley leaves ASAP. The truth is revealed, Aaron has also been reborn and he really does love Keeley before and now; he needs her love and he will protect her better this time. It seems there is more to the story than we know.

Chapter 7: Nobody’s Better Than Me

Aaron tried to woo Keeley to be his date; Keeley is not having it. Did I say how much I adore this girl?! She flipping rocks! However, Aaron will not deterred so begins the present giving which confuses Keeley more.

We learn the name of Keeley’s murderer aka creepo: Maximillian Lynch.

Chapter 8: I Want You to Dress Up Tomorrow

Aaron won’t stop trying to woo Keeley, but as stated before she won’t give in. The dance has arrived! Keeley remembers what happened last time and does everything she can to avoid Lacy.

This was extraordinarily entertaining. Every deserving of the guilty reads shelf, although I don't regret it one bit.

I will say, it is impressive how nearly everyone managed to get shipped to someone else. It would've sucked being single in that novel.

This was an amazing web novel! It took me about a week to finish but I was hooked. It was nothing like my normal book honestly. I'm usually into the fantasy with magical creatures with a nice cup of smut but this was soft and normal (for the most part) no magical beings and the smut was pg -13 lol but the plot was so intense and it just kept hooking me in deeper!
I'm only giving it four stars because it got to a point where I just wanted it to end because of how long it was . I feel that if it had been a published series instead of one ridiculously long web novel I would of definitely given it 5 stars.

This was the most intense story I have ever read. The story was a bit of overload, but due to the story content it makes sense. Our story begins with Keeley Hall and Aaron Hale, they are the main characters, although it contained so many others everything is about their lives stories. Yes, lives because they both along with one other character, Aaron’s half-bother Graydon Michael who is Michael Gray, were reincarnated back to retry their first lives.

This story is about a all consuming love and revenge. Starting over at the same point when Keeley and Aaron met. Knowing this is your second chance and knowing from your first life what horrible things would happen and how things happened during that time, can you change things and make better decisions to right what was wrong last time! Can you get revenge and take down the people that caused such atrocious the first time? Well, that’s Aaron plan.

You might think this is a just a basic quick romance, but your in for a ride with all the twist and truths that come out. There are flashbacks to help bring certain points of the story to light explaining first life actions and reasons.

This is a perfect read if you like suspense, mystery and romance. I throughly enjoyed reading this story. I’m betting you will too!

I truly enjoyed this story, but hated the format and Webnovel service. This was FAR too long and expensive. I won’t be reading more on Webnovel because of the way they price. Short chapters full of filler inflate the price of books since they charge by the chapter. This book had 542 chapters. It cost more than $40 to read. At that rate, I’m not getting sucked into another Webnovel story again. If this author would just publish actual books that I could read on my Kindle, I might read more of their work, but unless that happens, this will be my first and last. It doesn’t matter how good a book is if you feel like your PayPal account is constantly ticking away while you’re reading.

i just finished reading this and i had to leave a review! it’s honestly amazing, i didn’t even mean to start reading it. i was scrolling through pinterest and clicked on the link to this book by mistake but then decided to read it since it looked interesting. i am blown away!
the book had me hooked from the first few chapters and i literally could not put it down. i pulled many all-nighters and even woke up late for class a few times because of how obsessed i got with this.
the main character, keeley, isn’t a complete idiot and the way aaron constantly chases after her without giving up is what made me fall inlove with him. their love is so sweet and pure i keep wanting more. i also love how we also got to see the side characters get into relationships and find love as well as the mc.
absolutely adored this book and had a lot of fun reading it! would 10/10 recommend for a cute romance with a feeling of peace? haha at the end.

OMG, this is an amazingly addictive reading. Now as the first time I have read a Webnovel, I wasn't expecting the 500+ chapters but jeepers, thank the lord for lockdown. I've been reading since last Saturday and today's Friday and I've just finished. Absolutely loved the story, reincarnation caught my interest, my first read of this genre, so I though I'll give it a go, AND couldn't put it down. The children and hubby got fed, and the house got a quick tidy but otherwise I've been addicted to this for the last 6 days. No spoilers here, you just have to read it. Seriously, go NOW.

Well, what can I say. I started reading this because of an ad on Facebook. It had me hooked from the first chapter. Brilliant story. My only criticism is that it could probably have been a wee bit shorter but actually it does round up nicely in the end, which was something that the main characters needed. Many congratulations to the author, this is the first book in a while that I just couldn’t put down - would love to see this in hard copy print as I would definitely buy it.

This is a web book (I don't know how else to describe it) that I found several years ago and tend to re-read sections of. It's super long and expansive, but I really enjoy it.

After her high-society husband, Aaron, asks for a divorce to wed his mistress, Keeley is murdered in a hit and run accident. She then wakes up a senior in high school once more and is forced to relive meeting her husband in school. Little does Keely know that Aaron's coldness and distance in her past life was all a facade because his high-society family was out to get her and his "mistress" was the one that had her murdered. Spoiler - there was not actual mistress. But on top of that, Aaron has been reincarnated as well, and all he wants is a second chance to win his wife back and love her forever. This story takes them through their lives of heartbreak and pain to a place full of love and joy.

The story meanders a bit, especially the last quarter, but it's a fun ride.

Curse you Webnovel app! I'm going to end up spending a fortune trying to read this book! I found this book via fb clickbait. I love it! I can't believe I hadn't heard of this rebirth storyline in books before. Totally new concept to me and I can't get enough of it! This is a web novel written a few chapters at a time. Short chapters that come out in bits and pieces so you stay addicted having to come back and read more. There are like 500+ "chapters." If you're familiar with how After was written online then this is the same concept. I really like the author and hope she has a real deal book deal coming her way just like Anna Todd did. If you like fun fluffy romances, especially those involving bad rich boys, then this is a redemption story you will love.

Still reading.... currently on chapter 423! Beginning of the book got me hooked. Delightful read. Interesting spin on a love story. I clicked on a FB ad to read the preview and lost several hours of my life as I lost all track of time. Obligations forgotten. There is only Keeley.

The cons
Probably could’ve been split into two books or edited down to take out repetitive character development. Aaron could’ve used more dimension later in the book; his only emotions are love, panic, and ice. Everything wraps up a little too well with any characters causing friction. I’m super behind in my book club reads because I keep thinking this one will end soon.

I really enjoyed the first 70 chapters, and would love to have continued reading it, however there is no way I am going to spend so much money on a Webnovel when I can purchase a brand new Hardcover novel (for example, recently purchased a new hardcover copy of Colum McCann’s brilliant novel ‘Apeirogon’ at my small local bookshop for just under $40AUD) , or a Kindle based novel for less.
If the author’s works became available on Kindle then I would be interested.

I enjoyed this book it was long and definitely not on good reads but for a book on the internet it had a good premise. What would you do if you had your life to live over again? What mistakes would you rectify? I liked this and really enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters Aaron and Keeley. This is a must read. Found it on fastnovels.net

The characters are very immature - I'm not sure of the author's age, but characters in their 50s and older speak and behave like teenagers and it's very distracting. It's almost two novels - the main story essentially resolves, and then it's 200+ chapters of wrapping up every other character ever mentioned.

I don’t normally read web novels but was scrolling through facebook and it popped up. Was expecting to read the standard 10 episodes than get locked out but got the first 72 unlocked right away. This story took over my life for 6 days, my kids were happy cause it meant lots of park time so mommy could read. Very addictive!

I’m on chapter 471. I love the story so far but can’t keep paying for coins to continue reading. I would love to find out what happens between Violet, Jeremy and Noah. Hopefully, the book will be published soon.

I really liked this book! The only thing is, it took me over a week to read, and I'm not used to that. HA! I basically had to tell myself that I was reading a series of books. It got a little slow in parts, but I still enjoyed the fun, easy read!

Fun enough premise, but really got uninteresting. And the characters weren't exceptionally exciting. Things like 'best friends for years' only giving a 2 week notice on moving out because if how guilty she felt? I dunno. Web novels are not for me it seems

I love this book! He realizes what he lost and tries to change it. It’s a slow-building story, with a lot of character development. I love that she realizes her self-worth and follows her goals. He learns how to support her the way she needs him to.

Love the story arc and character development, especially those of the supporting characters. Some phrases get repeated a lot, so the book could have saved on words.

I liked it very much, but isn’t there more to it?

I loved this story! Could not stop reading unless I really had to. Definitely kept my interest because I usually drop books if It wasn’t up to my standards.

This is not a quick read. I don't even know how far I'm into the book, and I've read for several days.

The first part is intense. Then it gets complacent. Chapters could have been combined or skipped entirely. The author spends a lot of time describing food... at restaurants, sweet treats made, birthday cakes. All of them eat... a lot. How these people aren't diabetic is surprising to me.

There are too many side plots. I wish the author had just focused on the main characters. They spend a lot of time describing others who aren't/don't need to be central to the story. I don't even care about them as much... back to the main plot, sis.

Too long. I could have ended happily once a certain central character died.

The beginning was good, but the author put so many insignificant chapters that the story dragged on for ages. The author could have cut it off after Keeley and Aaron's relationship was resolved and made the second half another novel (that I most likely wouldn't have read).
