We're definitely not predicting a global cataclysm, but if one comes along, what will happen to the webcomics? They'll disappear forever as the grid goes down. Here at Oglaf, we want future generations to know our dreams, our dick jokes, the unquenchable rage of an insane and burning god. Also a short parody of a role-playing module that's almost playable! Although, full disclosure, we once made a saxophone out of hosepipe that we consider almost playable. Anyhow, we printed some books. Probably we'll hide some in a cave or something. Who knows what future generations will be into? Maybe it's this. Book Full color, 9" x 7", Dirty as it is funny, which is to say until the cows come home. [Description from the publisher] ()
Collect them all! Or else! Sithrak the Mighty hates everything, but he hates Oglaf the least! Can't describe these comics but suffice it to say it's the high point of my week when a new one hits their web site. Glad to have the paper copies to immortalize their work. Originally found them from the recommendation on the top page of Randall Munroe's xkcd website. Warning: a large proportion of these works are really for adults only. The cover is as shown for the ebook; I have one in my Photos section (I think you can get it at by going to my Profile and click on the "More Photos" link.)
By this point it's pretty clear what you are going to get from Oglaf (filthy comics and no semblance of the original continuity), but to be fair, it's pretty good at what it does.
Further fucking funny fantasy fuck-ups. I may have read this too soon after reading the first two pretty much back to back, as I didn't enjoy this quite as much as the others. Maybe just slightly too much of a good thing.
Recent Reads: Oglaf Book Three. The latest collection from the weekly web comic. Hilarious, if a little smutty at times. But this one has the classic "Mister Soft Owl". He's seen too much. Going from web to paper in style.
