Andy is a professional photographer, her main bread and butter though is weddings and engagement events, she has never wanted the limelight and most of the time is so shy it’s painful but put her behind a camera and she comes alive. She had been commissioned to take some publicity photos for the upcoming Firefighter Charity Auction. So when she arrives at the station to be met by the gorgeous Dean Wilkins she is lost for words. And the way he is looking at her like his last meal but surely a man like him wouldn’t look twice at someone like her, he is too good to be true! Could Andy end up ruining what could have been her happily ever after?

Dean Wilkins has for as long as he can remember wanted to be a firefighter, he loves not knowing what is going to happen one minute to the next. And he certainly wasn’t expecting Andy Sutherland, from the minute he turns and sees the curvy shy beauty walking towards him he is hooked, never before had he been jealous but watching her put her hands on the other men in his team whilst the promotion photos for the auction are being taken has the green eyed monster making an appearance. He knows they could have something amazing and after one date knows that this could be the start of his forever but after a misunderstanding he is left wondering if this is the end?

Enjoyable read perfect for the valentines trope. Has a cute epilogue too. 3.8* read.

STORY:
I love Indy; she comes off shy, not willing to put herself out there and is all work. Dean was adorable from the start. I say adorable, but still very much sexy. I like the way he got Indy to open up bit by bit and became apart of her life.

CHEMISTRY:
The cutest couple and sexy. By sexy as well, I don’t mean just physically. Everything Dean did to me had me blushing.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS
None really, unless all those sexy firefighters from the photo shoot are single with a book of their own.

Overall, a light fast pace read that includes a cute and sexy couple.


***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Love Empowers

When Andy agrees to do a photoshoot with a bunch of sexy firemen for a bachelor charity auction, she is nervous and shy. She doesn't expect to find one of them attracted to her.
Another life-affirming short about a curvy girl by Cruz. Very short and very enjoyable.

That tiny spark of attraction ignited into a roaring inferno
This book is about Andy and Dean. She is a photographer, and has been asked to take the photos of some local firefighters, in the lead up to a charity fundraising auction of eligible bachelors. He just happens to be one of those smoking-hot firefighters being photographed and being put up for auction. After spending just a little bit of time together, their mutual attraction is undeniable, and their chemistry grows with each interaction.
But, Andy’s insecurities get in the way as she suspects and accuses Dean of being with another woman at the country club. Even when he tries to explain who it was, she isn’t totally interested in hearing any excuses. He too doesn’t appreciate her not believing him and walks away. Andy might know she’s in the wrong, and needs to come up with a way to make it up to him. This is where the auction part of the story comes in…
It was a fun, flirty, sweet and steamy story. There was also a little bit of mistrust and mistakes as this couple navigate their feelings and insecurities. I just wish it hadn’t ended so quickly. I give this book four and a half stars.

I kind of loved this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Denise was great for supporting and teasing her brother Dean. His team cracked me up with their antics. Stella was a wonderful friend to Andrea (Andy) because she supported her but she also pushed her to do things that Andy wasn't necessarily comfortable with. Andy was shy and an introvert unless she was behind her camera. Dean was very outgoing. They were definitely opposites. Andy and Dean were attracted to each other immediately. Dean handled the attraction by teasing Andy and she handled it by blushing. Dean wanted to get to know Andy and help her to expand her comfort zone. Andy seemed agreeable to that. There was a bit of drama due to a misunderstanding. I loved Dean and Andy's happy ever after. I recommend reading this book

Andy is a photographer she has just completed a wedding shoot she is at home getting her work done in the darkroom and getting her supplies for her next shoot the firefighter's photoshoot for the yearly fundraiser her best friend Stella calls to make sure she won't be late, Stella informs her about the Firefighter auction this year for Valentines's Day hopping Stella will want to go but Stella tells her that she is to meet battalion chief Dean Wilkins she is shocked when she sees that he is young and hot. Dean is very taken with the beautiful photographer he wants to get to know her and he doesn't like the way the guys are looking at her and the way she is accessing them for the shoot. He knows that she is the one for him and she knows that she is very attracted to him. Their story is interesting short and sweet. I was given an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. Andy is a a photographer.  She primarily shoots weddings and portraits and is more comfortable behind the lens of the camera than she is in normal social settings.  When the opportunity arises to do the photo shoot for the annual Fireman’s Valentines Date Auction, she agrees to take the photos for the promotional materials. Dean is a battalion chief at the fire department.  He is shirtless washing the fire truck when Andy arrives to take the pictures. Their attraction is instant.  Will Dean be able to coax Andy out from behind her camera?

Wonderful Valentine’s Day story.  It is a fun feel good story with wonderful characters who compliment each other.  I love how Dean is completely supportive of Andy and her work.

Andy is photographer just finished up a photoshoot and is on her way to another one. This one is to photograph a bunch of firefighter for a promo material for a Firefighter Bachelor Auction on Valentine's Day. She is to asks for Dean Wilkins and he will help her, but when she arrives at the fire station the first thing she sees is a soaking wet shirtless, golden tan, gorgeous guy washing the truck.
Dean, a battalion chief was asked by the chief to help out the photographer who was coming to photograph the volunteers for the Valentine's Day auction. What he didn't expect was a beautiful, shy, curvy woman.
While helping Andy with the shoot he realizes that he likes being around her and would like to see more of her and for Andy it's the strong chemistry and the longing to see him again.

Dean Wilkins is the Fireman Battalion Chief and Andy is a photographer. When Andy’s best friend Stella, who is an event planner tells her about an event to take pictures at the Firefighter Bachelor Auction annual fundraiser for Valentine’s Day Andy is all too happy to do it.

Andy heads over to the fire house and asks a firefighter who unbeknownst to her is none other than Dean Wilkins Battalion Chief who is shirtless, soaking wet washing the fire engine truck and oh so handsome the person she is looking for her. He decides to have a little fun with her and she finally realizes that he’s guy she is looking for.

This such a cute short novella featuring Dean and Andy who eyeing each and the heat is on.

Andy is a photographer. She mainly takes wedding pictures and although she loves what she does, it can get monotonous. Especially when she knows her walk down the isle is presently no where in sight. When she is offered to take pictures of firefighters for a charity auction she is excited. Taking pictures of something other than a wedding is a no brainer, she's in. Doesn't hurt that they'll be mostly shirtless. When she arrives to take the pictures, she meets a firefighter (Dean) that is hotter than a raging inferno. When their eyes meet the chemistry is electric. Is there a chance for a future? Will they take the time to get to know one another? Will Dean be Andy's walk down the isle? The answers are right at your fingertips. Right here in this book. A wonderful reading experience I hope a lot of readers take the time to enjoy.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this upbeat and light-hearted story about a photographer who is very shy and a firefighter who isn’t. Andy is a photographer who is talked into taking promotional photos of firefighters for the valentines charity auction. Dean is a firefighter who with he sees Andy is instantly attracted to her and is determined to see her again. They meet up while Dean is rescuing a kitten out of a tree and Dean gives Andy his phone number. The rest they say is history and they lived happily ever after. You won’t regret reading this really quick story and falling in love with the characters.

I just love a good firefighter story. This one is a bit different for sure. Andy is a quiet and reserved homebody. Dean is the social butterfly. They are pretty both attracted to each other from the start. Dean is a true Alpha male and he wants to claim Andy as soon as he sees her. This is a short read and insta love. Dean gets jealous and protective over Andy without even knowing her yet just knows she's the one for him. Since these two are so different on the rector scale can these two get he HEA that they both want and deserve or are they both so different that they wont mesh? Well only way to find out is if you grab this and read is just before bed or on your lunch break.

Indy is a photographer who’s newest assignment is photographing firefighters signed up for the holiday auction. As she goes to the station looking for her contact she falls in lust at first site with a man outside. Turns out the object of her affection is her contact Dean. Indy uses her camera as a shield to cover up her shyness. Dean loves his job as a firefighter, working with his ‘family’ to save anyone who needs help. Despite the fact they are so different they are drawn to each other. This is my first time reading C.L. Cruz but I will continue to look for more stories in the future. It was a sweet and sexy read. Indy and Dean's story is a wonderful tale of love, support and stepping out of your comfort zone. Indy is a photographer who is more comfortable with a camera in her hand, but lately she is wanting more. When the job of photographing the firemen for an up coming charity auction comes up, Indy is thrilled and petrified all at once. Dean is the battalion chief at the department, as well as one of the bachelors up for auction this year. He never thought much of his future, until he saw Indy.

This is a fun story that has a misunderstanding, self doubt, hot passion love and cat being rescued. This is a great addition to the exciting series. Definitely a win in my book.

Loved this to bits

An instalove where they actually get to know each other. Yes it was predictable but it was fulfilling. They went on dates and became friends and has normal people I. Their lives and regular jobs, no billionaires jetting off to Italy. It was just so refreshingly romántica me sweet and though she is a curvy gir that wasn’t what was her issues. She had normal issues that anyone regardless of size could relate to which made it all the more wondrous.

I also liked his reaction to the misunderstanding, she was in the wrong and it wasn’t glossed over.

Andy is a photographer. She is single, curvy, quiet, and doesn’t take chances. She is doing a photo shoot involving firefighters who are going to be auctioned off to help raise money. Dean is the firefighter she is to contact at the fire station. Dean is single, hunky, great smile, outgoing and just the opposite of Andy. When they meet there is a spark, a sizzle, a look. What will happen? Will it be smooth sailing? Will it be love? It is a great little read about people stepping out of their comfort zone and taking a chance. Cute characters who are smoking hot. It’s sexy, hot, and a fun read.

I liked this story a lot. The characters are realistic and feel honest. Dean is an outgoing person and a firefighter. Andy is very shy and hides behind her camera. The personalities meshed very well as he helped to push her out of her comfort zone while she was comfort and home for him. Their first meeting was great because it was a photo shoot, which made Andy comfortable since she could hide behind her camera when she got nervous. Nicely balanced story with no grammatical or writing issues that I noticed.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Be my flirty firefighter is a novella in the ‘’be my’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Andy is a photographer taking photos of firefighters for a charity calendar. When she meets Dean, a hot fire fighter will she find love?
The chemistry between Andy and Dean is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Amazing story. Dean lives for the next rush and adventure. Andy is an adventure her wants to embark on. She’s curvy, shy and beautiful with a heart of gold. But, Andy doesn’t like to step outside of her comfort zone. Dean slowly draws her out. They are happy together until she sees him with another woman. He has an explanation but will she believes him? Come slide down a pole and enjoy.

Awesome short story with the best firefighter! This is about Dean and Andy. Andy is a photographer and she agreed to take the photos for the auction of the firefighters, so the story takes off from when she meets Dean. Things turn up well for them both until she sees him with a gorgeous bombshell that isn’t her, so she assumes the worst and walks out on him without hearing his side. The question is could she recover from this with the auction coming up or will she loose him all together?

Stepping Outside Her Comfort Zone ✨

Ok, so this was a quick (@ 45 mins) read about Dean, a sweet firefighter, and Andy, a shy photographer. It’s about learning to step outside your comfort zone so that you can grab hold to a life you only dreamed about. It also shows that sometimes falling in love and building a family is the biggest, and most terrifying, adventure you’ll ever need. A well written story that, while short, was paced well, and had enough highs and lows to feel believable. Loved it ❤️

Dean is a firefighter and being photographed by Andy for a promotion for the Gala Auction for charity. Their attraction is so strong, and there is an unassuming intimacy between them from the start. You can't help but know they have some magnetism.
Very well thought out, and written, I enjoyed the writing style that only C L Cruz can deliver. I even liked the sassy comebacks they have for each other. There was lots of fun in reading this book.

I loved characters. Firemen are too hot.
Andy is used to remaining in her safe places, but with the help of her friends will she be able to capture the man of her dreams?
I liked how Dean helped Andy step out of her comfort zone. I liked how these two were honest with each other as to what they wanted in their lives.
A fun read that gave me some giggles and had plenty of spice.

Andy 8s shy unless she is behind the camera lens. When she is behind the lens she is professional and can work the room. She is tasked to do a calender shoot of firefighters for a charity auction. Dean is the Battalion Chief and in charge of assisting Andy during the shoot. She is attracted to him but to shy to let it be known. Dean sees Andy and knows he wants to get to know her. Will she be able to overcome her shyness to get what she wants? Great story with a HEA.

Valentine's was rolling around again, so it was time for the annual firemen bachelor auction fund raiser. Andy was headed to the fire station to meet Dean Wilkens to take all the bachelors photos for the promotional material. Immediately, Andy and Dean made a connection, but Dean realized he wanted more than a quick hookup, so he was going to take it slow with her. Andy deserved the very best. This was a fun story, but it was not very original.
