Snowed In With A Richmond Savage
During Christmas time, love seems to be in the air for everyone except Brock. After losing the one woman he loved, Brock’s heart is ice cold. Leaving room for only one person, his daughter. Despite his cold hearted nature, a run-in with Nyell has him in the giving spirit. Trying to help her, his walls slowly fell down, leaving Brock to fight his emotions. After the death of her father, life hits Nyell harder than she expected. Down on her luck, she makes her way to Richmond to try and pick up the pieces of her life. It seemed as if chaos followed Nyell everywhere she went, and that didn’t change when she met Brock. The last thing she needed was to fall in love, but it was beginning to become harder than she expected. Neither ready or wanting to give into their feelings, left them trying to push the other away. Until, a snowstorm hits Richmond forcing them to face their feelings head on. In the midst of madness, will Christmas bring Nyell and Brock together? Or will Nyell’s fear of abandonment and Brock’s cold heart tear them apart?

Nyell x Brock
I don't know what to make of this story. First of all Nyell had so much going. Like sis could not catch a break. And Brock, well he was a "savage", only because the author told us. Nothing he did or said indicated that. No character development, absolutely zero chemistry between the two. No character description. I had no idea what they looked like. Nami, Brock's 2 year old daughter probably spoke twice in the entire book, but she was always around. So Brock had a few girls on rotation, but when he finally got it in with Nyell, off course he went in with no protection 🙄🙄
There was something about this book that was off. Lacking a certain "je ne sais quoi" Like a bit lackluster. The characters were doing and saying all the right thing, but it felt off. Mrs. Joyce, Brock's mother was sweet. I could go on and on about this story in this review but, I'll spare everyone. I think the author had the right idea, but missed the mark. If you're looking for a book with all the Holiday feels, then this book is for you cause it's filled with Christmas.

Satisfied Reader
This book brought out all emotions. It was that good. Nyell took a chance and left to better herself and she did just that. I loved how she kept her life hidden. Her accident was the best thing to happen to her. Brock didn't know her but his heart was big. Ms. Joyce is going to blessed beyond measures. She's always looking out for others and that had me in awe with tears. Great story

When strangers meet
This is definitely a tale of two strangers coming together for the great good in their lives. Now I can't lie and say that when Lita made that phone call I wasn't in tears because when you love someone and have to let them go all of a sudden it can be really hard plus a child was involved. Getting himself to love and let go was hard but with the prayers of his mother things went different. Even with Nyell being down on her luck she never gave up even when things got really hard for her. Even though she had nothing there were two people that changed her life in an unexpected way. I loved there was no judgement just great advice and prayer. Being snowed in really put everything in perspective plus they got a little freaky!!! This was a really good story and the characters were just as great!!

Taking chances. That’s what I’m gonna name this review because the book was about both couples taking a chance on loving again. I saw it a little different maybe because I don’t trust people. Especially strangers in my house. Brocks mama was just inviting in stray being in her house and I found that odd since her son was so over protective of her and his daughter. So you just gone let your mother house people off the street. Sob story or not. I don’t play that. I think the author had room to strengthen her storyline and make it come together more. Cause if your main this is Brock doesn’t want his daughter meeting anyone. Then he bring complete strangers around? I found that annoying but I liked the storyline and how it flowed.

Bay-be, this was definitely a beautiful insta-love Christmas short by Queen Desiara. This was my first read and I'm so looking forward to reading more.
Brock was such an amazing Father. He protected his daughter at all cost and stayed loyal to Lit a even after she toldhim to move on with his life.
Two years later...
Nyell was going through honey, getting hit with blow after blow. Although her and Brock didn't meet under the best of circumstances, her love for his daughter and mother had him opening up and falling fast. Mrs. J was a praying woman and prayer definitely works.
Although short, this was really good and a must read💕

Great Read
I so loved this novella and enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Nyell, had endured so much, one bad break after another. She'd started to doubt herself and her faith. Fate brought Brock into her life and it was a instant attraction. So loved them together and what they were building. From that moment on things start to look spot better. Mind you Brock had his own issues, together the heal each other and repair the hearts. So loved how everything turned out and loves Mama Joyce. Great job Desiara.

Great Read
This is the first time I have read a book by this Author and I must say I really love her writing skills. This was an awesome Christmas story and I love the flow of it from beginning to end. I loved the way that Brock finally let Nyell into his heart and him in hers. You could have drill on the robbing of the trap house or Brock being a kingpin but you didn't you kept in in the spirit of Christmas and finding true love. I can't wait to read more from you. Keep up the great work .

The Prayers of a Mother
Although Brock was in the streets he was so caring and it might have been thanks to his daughter Nami. Nyell just had consist bad luck but her meeting Brock was a miracle in itself. His mom, Mama Joyce was funny and definitely didn’t play. I’m not gone lie I was nervous about her not showing up back at her home let alone not answering her phone. Great book!

Great story!
The love, the care, the sacrifice of a father was very much displayed in this book! Brock although he has a unfavourable" career", he truly knew how to display love and compassion! Momma J was a Godsend at a time when Nyell was at her lowest point. I really appreciated how they helped her and how she truly bonded with Nami! Lita was selfless for what she did. This novel just gave me feel good vibes!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a really nice story. I love the way it ended, even though I hated to see it end. Momma J was an angel in disguise. I loved Brock and Nyell. They were made for each other...This is definitely a must read. Highly recommened...

Brock & Nyell
Fate had a way of putting Nyell in Brock's path. Thank Goodness it did cause I don't know how much more she could have endured after losing everything. Momma Joyce prayed and things got turned around for Brock & Nyell. I wonder what more Fate has in store for this family...

This book was everything Desiara. I honestly thought Lita was gone pop back up and cause some recklessness, but everything happened the way it was supposed to. I would’ve liked to know what happened with Shelley though. Overall a great Christmas read.

Started off a bit slow and Nyell was getting a bit annoying being such a cry baby. I was happy she finally put her big girl panties on and got her act together. All worked out after they both started having faith. All in all great book.

Nice Story
This was a cute Christmas story and I really enjoyed it. I give Lita props cause any other woman would be trying to hold on even though she was never coming home. It’s crazy how he tried to holla she declined him and got with him anyway 🤣🤣
