Recipe for disaster: Combine one bratty, high-heeled boy band star with a strict, legendary manager who also happens to be a Daddy Dom. Stir briskly. Then stand back and wait for the explosion.
A meltdown of epic proportions is only the beginning when Silas James takes over the management duties of dance music sensation, Three Trick Pony. The band’s superstar status is in question thanks to lead singer Jett’s diva attitude. Silas would love to get Jett alone and give him a hearty spanking. Trouble is, he’d like to do plenty of other kinky things to the femme boy as well.
Jett can’t believe his record company hired the biggest asshole he’s ever met to manage the band. Who does the gorgeous fuck think he is, telling the great Jett Fine what to do? No worries. He’ll get the jerk in bed then have him wrapped around his pinkie finger in no time. This Silas character might think he’s being cool, but Jett can tell when a man is panting after a femme boy who can work it in lingerie and high heels.
But what if Silas is the one with all the tricks up his sleeve?

Three small stars. Acting like a spoiled diva didn’t help Jett one bit. The more attitude the more he holds people at distance.
The new manager Silas saw right through him. Jett was destructive and Silas desperately wanted to take care of him, staying professional kept him from getting closer.
The enemies-to-lover thingy wasn’t really there, it was more about Jett being an enemy to himself.
At 54% there wasn’t any progress. I didn’t felt any chemistry, I wasn’t even sure they fit. It wasn’t convincing. Except for one excessive matter, out of nowhere, the story wasn’t really exciting, it was more sweet and further all about Jett’s attitude. Sorry, this one wasn’t for me.
Diva Pop is the fifth book in the Command & Care. This book is about Silas and Jett. I really liked their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels, with some angst and well written.
Jett is definitely a handful and a true diva. He is also really funny at times. I'm just glad that I'm not the one who has to deal with him when he's in his diva-ish stage. Silas is definitely a good Daddy, and I think that he will be perfect for Jett.
I didn’t love this book. I thought Jett was a spoiled brat, and didn’t really see why Silas would want to jump into that. Also, it didn’t really feel like there was a ton of chemistry between them. Overall, this book felt quite disorganized, I was surprised, as I usually really like Morticia Knight’s books. This is a miss for me.
Diva Pop was a bit of a surprise to me. I like Morticia Knight's writing style so I took a chance on a story that falls in a category I'm not particularly fond of, daddy dom. This book does not really focus on that one aspect of that one character but instead creates a world and characters and that is just a part of the overall story being told. Jett starts out the story as a high-strung, over-the-top, bratty music star. It's established very quickly that he is more than that but that is what a lot of people believe about him. Silas is brought in to try to save the band from imploding but he finds himself struggling to keep a professional distance from Jett. He realizes very quickly that there is a lot more to Jett than the flashy surface and bratty attitude. Their story takes place over a fairly short time span so it does qualify as an insta-love story but this story would have worked just fine even if the author had spread it out over a much longer time span.
I liked how the author created a complete character for Jett. Yes, he's over the top most of the time but he is also very human. I really felt for him as his layers were peeled back and his history was revealed. The steps that led him to this point are very believable. Silas remained a bit more mysterious in the story. There were a few glimpses of Sila outside of his dealing with Jett and that was nice but I wanted a little bit more. In the end, they work as a couple and their reasons for being together make good sense.
What I didn't like was the daddy dom aspect. I just don't get why Jett would want that instead of wanting a committed partner. I think that's on me and not the author. I also felt like some of the world where the story takes place is incomplete. I don't want to give away spoilers but I scratched my head about the band dynamic. Again, I have a feeling that's on me and not the author because the band is not the focus of the story.
If you like MM love stories, give this a try. It's a contemporary story set in California. If you are looking for wall-to-wall adult reading, this might disappoint because a lot of the story is about character development.

Independent reviewer for gay Romance Reviews, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 5 in the Care and Command series, but each book can be read as a stand alone, with no overlapping characters.
I liked this one, not as much as the rest though, and I've no idea why!
Oh it's still good, don't get me wrong, but something about it just doesn't push any of my buttons and I'm a bit sad about that.
Jett isn't the diva he portrays to the world, and Silas saw right through that, right from the start.
I liked that Silas, bless him, TRIES to deny his feelings for Jett, and that those feelings run deep from very early on. I liked that Jett admits his attraction to Silas, and that he plans to use that attraction to get what he wants but very quickly realises that Silas will not be played.
I LOVED that Jett finds he needs Silas' praise and positive interactions far more than the negative stuff Jett dealt with before. Loved that Jett calls to Silas in his hour of need.
What I loved most about this though, was this book focuses more on the CARE aspect of a Daddy/boy relationship. Silas is a Daddy but prefers to be called Papa, he isn't into littles. He just needs someone to care for, and Jett so desperately needs the care he can give him. IF Jett will let Silas in.
It's not especially explicit, its more about the emotions running through Jett and Silas rather than the physical aspect.
All in all I liked this book, but overall, couldn't quite love it like I did the rest of the series.
Silas Jones takes over the management of Three Trick Pony a dance music sensation due to the departure of their original manager and there are some doubts about the status of the band partially due to the behaviour of the lead singer Jett Fine and his diva attitude. Silas would love to get him alone and give him a spanking but he'd love to do other things to him too. Jett finds it hard to believe their record company hired the biggest asshole he has ever met to manage them. He'll have to get him into bed so he can have him wrapped around his finger. But what if Silas is the one with all the tricks up his sleeve?
I enjoyed this story with the brat Jett and the Daddy Dom Silas and how he found a way to tame him and get him to start to think about his behaviour and reasons for them. I did think there could have been more detail on the reasons and how he could move on from that. I also felt that more could have been made of his relationship with his mother. It was sweet the way he changed and the way that Silas took care of him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic with some spanking and dressing in lacy underwear and heels.
** Trigger Warning - there is a physical assault in this story.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Command and Care series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Jett is the star diva behind Three Trick Pony band, bratty, out of control and needs a firm hand to get him into shape. Sikas sexy as all get out new manager/daddy dominant, just the right man to get the bratty diva into place, and he is there to get the job done. The moment the two meet the chemistry is insanely intense and the magnetic pull have these two is off the charts and Silas knows he can help Jett but Jett has to be open to the control but the struggle to stay away from Jett is getting harder and harder so where are the two of them headed, will they work together and can they find something more than manager and bratty diva?
Jett was the lead singer of a group called three trip pony and they were in a crisis. Jett was very bratty and thought he was the best thing since sliced bread for this band so when a new manager came in and started changing things he was not impressed. Silas James knew he was in trouble as soon as he saw Jett. He was exactly the Kind guy that he would go for. And he had to fight his feelings for him and stay professional. But Jett wasn’t making it easy but he could see there was something underline about his behaviour. Would you ever except Silas as the new manager or would he try every trick in the book to make Silas see him in a different light?? Could satisfy his feeling or would he just have to be there to protect him??
I thought this was an okay read. I actually really like Jett And Silas. And it was great to understand what Jett was going through and how Silas brought out the best in him. Looking forward to the next book.

An uncertain boy needs his cuddles. This author is known to me and I really enjoyed earlier books, stand alone ones and volumes in this, Commaand and Care, and other series. The writer has a flow in her writing that makes the story believable and not over the top. The characters develop through out the story and there is some angst. This book starts with a pop band which needs to be put back on track. Jett, a former ballet dancer, is one of the main character in the group. He seems kinda lost and a bit out of control due to not handling all the uncertainty well. Silas is the man who is brought in as a new manger to see what can be done for the group. Both men are attracted to each other but do not act on it. Until a dramatic and traumatic event happens to Jett and Silas is the one he reach out to. I give the book 4,5 * Triggers: assault

Part of a series but easily read as a standalone book.
Jett, a pop diva, great at throwing tantrums, hates anyone in his personal space, doesn't even let his best friend and band member Cody touch him. Part of Three Trick Pony, the other band member, Paul, snaps at Jett, but the feeling is mutual.
Silas, a well-known band manager. Unknown to the members of Three Trick Pony, Silas has been brought in to manage and turn the band around. Silas arrives with two new dancers and upsets everyone.
I enjoy this book as I do with most of Morticia's books. We get a Diva, who needs a Daddy to control him. We get a Daddy who needs a boy to control, a best friend who finds his HEA, and other side characters. In this book, Jett gets a tough ride, and I love the gritty part that almost costs him his life. In my opinion, it's worth a read, especially if you like Daddy/Boy stories.
Diva Pop: An M/M Daddy, Enemies to Lovers Romance (Command & Care Book 5)
When Silas shows up to manage Jett and the rest of the band sparks fly and not always in a good way. Jett is not known for being pleasant to work with, but Silas sees something in Jett that gives him pause. Will the two men find a way to work together, or will Jett and the band become just a memory to the music world?
Silas and Jett’s story is a sweet read. Their story moves at a good pace and keeps the readers attention all the way through to the end. I enjoyed watching the two find their way. It was nice to see the interactions between the two men. Silas sees the true Jett and not the persona he shows to the world. It was nice to see him begin to heal and grow with the help of Silas. The two work hard and realize that love is something that takes work and trust. The author has done a wonderful job of fleshing out these characters and filling them with emotions.
I'm not usually picky about Daddy/boy romances, but Jett and Silas's story didn't work for me. Jett's diva attitude was too self-centered and over-the-top for me, and I couldn't find a way to relate to him. Despite what Silas apparently saw in him, I had a hard time believing Jett was a redeemable character, and I didn't see much character growth in him throughout the book. I didn't mind Silas or even the crazy amount of drama Three Trick Pony was going through, but in combination with a main character I didn't like it was hard for me to be excited about the direction the story was going in. Even Silas and Jett's relationship was a lot slower to progress than I expected, and in fact this felt like more of a prelude to their romance than anything else.
**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.
I think this story was lacking a little of the depth of the other books in this series. I never understood the motives for the main characters responses and actions. If they were explained it seemed like an afterthought....oops now I need to add a line of two to explain why the mc did that. An example is Jett's unicorn pillow. We go almost the whole book before we learn it has a name. Then we get a line or two explaining what it's name is and why. We never get a good explanation for why Jett doesn't like to be touched. On the flip side I didn't understand Silas's motives either. I don't mind Insta love but I didn't buy Silas falling so fast when there was so little interaction between the characters. Even his explanation of his kink fell flat. The bones of a good story are there, it just needs more details and development.
Things were not going well with the group that Jett headlined, Three Trick Pony. When the manager quits and puts the group in jeopardy the record company sends in Silas to work with the group and see what can be done with them. Jett is a bratty diva who is snarky and stressed. He is used to fighting for what he wants but in this case it is not clear that fighting to keep the band together is in his best interest. He and Silas are instantly attracted and Silas really believes he can help. Jett just wants to get his way and believes he can make things work his way. It is for the best that he does not get his way and that Silas cares for and takes care of him to help him land in a better place for him.

Diva Pop is the fifth part of the Command & Care series. I have to admit I didn‘t read the other parts, but that wasn’t a problem. For sure I‘ll do that now.
The title Diva Pop is all it needs to describe Jett, a lead singer of a band, cute but extremely bratty like it seems. The only one looking behind Jett‘s scenes is Silas, the new band manager, he‘s feeling, there most be some reasons why Jett pretends to be such a bratty diva.
I loved this book because of the emotional up and Dow’s, the way how Morticia describes the felling of both characters and clearly for the steamy scenes.
Additional I have to remark Diva Pop was easy to read for me although I’m not a native English speaker.
Im really looking forward to read the other books.
When Silas James is appointed as the new manager for Three trick Pony Jett's life changes. After their old manager resigns Three Trick Pony wait for what the company will do. Femme boy Jett the lead singer/dancer waits outside smoking to control his nervousness when fellow member Tory comes to get him. He finds that there is a new manager Silas James a sexy hunk who stirs feelings in Jett but this makes act out as he does not like change. Silas tells them that the band is going to expand by two member the two strangers who are with him. Overwhelmed by all these changes Jett walks out. Silas realizes he is in trouble as he feels Jett should be his but he needs to keep their dealing business only.

So this book was great it is book five of the Command and Care series but it can be read as a complete standalone. I still recommend reading the rest of the series. I always enjoy this author's works. I definitely liked the other books in this series more, but this book was still super enjoyable and I always like most things that are daddy/boy. But for some reason, I just had problems with the MCs. Jett is part of Three Trick Pony, but he is a huge part of why it is failing. His ego and brattiness. Silas was brought in as the new manager to clean up Jett's act. And cleaning up he does, in soooo many ways. Like most of Morticia Knights books, there is always a HEA and it is nicely paced. I definitely recommend this seriesI will definitely keep reading the series.
Workplace romance Manager/dancer Enemies to lovers vibes Opposites attract Femme and bratty MC
I had high hopes for this book as I love all the above mentioned. However, I found this very hard to get into. I had to force myself to keep reading. It was less charming brat and more immature, catty and self destructive. Didn't Not help that the other 4 group members were much the same. As for the manager being the a hole enemy the blurb claimed. He wasn't at all. He had sweet caring but strict Daddy vibes which I like and I just felt bad for him. By mid point there was no story progression and no chemisty between the 2 MCs and the Manager/Daddy was the only person I didn't hate. So ya this just wasn't for me. The last 40% did get better but then was too rushed.
Ms. Morticia is back with another really good book. Silas and Jett were perfect together. Jett is labeled as bratty and Silas realizes right away that it is something more. These two can't help the pull they feel towards each other but while one trying to keep things professional and another as long standing issues with abandonment and other issues, these two have some serious drama, and up and downs that they have get through to finally get to their HEA. I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what Ms. Morticia has in store for us next. I would recommend this book and Ms. Morticia as a must read author.

Out of the Command & Care series this one was OK. Jett was definitely a diva and I loved his personality while Silas had daddy tendencies...it was hard to believe that he wanted to be daddy to Jett. The attraction was there...most definitely but not strong enough for that daddy/boy relationship...too many issues/problems between them, professional and personal. I think their relationship could have been explored a little more instead of rushed in after Jett's horrible incident. Maybe not call it daddy/boy...well I don't know...just don't think they are completely there yet. They have a nice ending but I was left kinda of blah/OK after reading this.

Jett is a diva. A. Real. Diva. Having had an injury that forced him out of ballet he became a pop star. The manager of Three Trick Pony quits and a new manager is appointed. Introducing new members to the band, more about their contracts, band member quits, means drama!
This is such an interesting story! Jett is such a dramatic diva but somewhere under it has put up walls to protect himself with. Silas is a manager, he's a professional, but he recognises that Jett is his boy and that he needs to be looked after. Told from dual POVs reveals intimately their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, as they explore their relationship. The story is well written, fast paced and compelling to read. There's an HEA 💓
We all wear masks. Jett, is lead of Three Trick Pony. He and his two other bandmates, each have their idiosyncracies that render them high maintenance. Jett has a high opinion of himself and his influences over others. Silas, is brought in to manage the group after the previous manager, Bob left. Jett, spends a lot of time in his head fearing he's about to be fired. Silas, spends a lot of time in his head lusting after Jett, wishing he could be his boy. Jett carries heavy baggage that he keeps hidden. Daddy Silas, is aware of and concerned with Jett's baggage. Will Silas step up and help Jett? Will Silas be able to help Three Trick Pony? Nice story. I would have liked more character depth. Interesting characters. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Silas has been assigned the bad that Jett is in. Three Trick Pony started out like a wild fire until there was practically nothing left except two band members who hated each other and a third that was just trying to keep the peace. Jett's spoiled attitude draws Silas' attention from their first meeting, bringing out the Daddy in Silas. There's lots of drama in the band and some outside forces. When Jett is attacked he realizes he needs Silas.
Other than a brief glimpse of the reason why Jett doesn't like to be touched or to touch others, it isn't explained why but once Jett realizes that he's safe with Silas, his guard is down and Silas is allowed to cuddle and hold his boy.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Jett had been a rising ballet dancer until he injured his knee. That meant he had to find a diversion to still enjoy his passion and became part of a group called the Three Trick Pony. Up till lately they had been doing well then Paul and Jett started clashing. Silas was brought in as the new manager to get them performing back up to scratch and revive their reputation. Morticia had my head swinging like it was at a tennis match. Worrying about the future, a current physical attack to finding his papa. This really kept my attention glued to the page. I received a copy from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.
Silas sees through Jett right from their first meeting, knowing he is really scared, hurt, insecure, and hiding behind his diva persona. Their journey is a bumpy one with fears and frustrations, mistakes and missteps, lust and longing, drama and danger, and ends with love and a satisfying HEA. This story is entertaining and emotional and dishes out laughs, passion, and some heartbreak. I would have liked the reasons Jett is the way he is to be explained a little better and seen more of the dynamics of their relationship but overall this is a book I would recommend.

Jett is completely caught off guard when Silas strolls into his life as his bands new manager. Jett and Silas are complicated characters for very different reasons. Jett has built up so many walls to keep everyone at a distance to avoid being hurt. Silas is caught between his attraction to Jett and his responsibilities as the bands manger. I think they make a great couple and this is another wonderful addition to the Command and Care series.
I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my honest review.
