About the author

M.T. Dixon is a twenty-something woman residing in Los Angeles who has been writing since elementary school - from plays to short stories and poems. As a pre-teen, she became obsessed with books by Jacqueline Woodson and Sharon Draper, leading into British literature, African-American fiction, and poetry as her love of reading grew. A few of Dixon’s favorite authors are Shakespeare, J. K. Rowling, and Zane. Like her love of reading, her creativity never stops. Now, after penning her first novel, she is on fire to write more. If you don’t see her writing, she’s most likely binge watching her favorite shows, reading, exploring the world, or curating playlists. Look out for more of her unconventional romance novels to come because she has so many exciting things in store!

I should've known Chance would be Anika's love interest. He and Anika were definitely two of a kind. Both of them were alpha males and players and neither of them were looking for a relationship. What was suppose to be a one night stand damn near had Chance falling in love. Anika had that good good! He was chasing and sweatin' her so hard and Chance wasn't even ashamed of how he was acting. He was ready to turn in his heaux card and make Anika his lady neooooowwwww! I loved that Anika was the female Chance and, when she pulled a him on him, he couldn't even be mad about it. I just wish the author would've given us their ages. Chance is older than Anika but, since we don't know how much time has actually passed between Ahlecia and Anika's book, I couldn't distinguish how much older he is. These two were the perfect match. Anika and Chance leveled each other out and were the perfect amount of sweet and nasty. Nah, scratch that. They were definitely 90% more nasty. She didn't call Chance Cookie Monster for nothin'. Wink! Wink! 😉

Loved it!!!

Anika and Chance were never the relationship type of people, but after hooking up one night and numerous times, Chance wanted more and was going to try. Realizing that their friends knew each other, Anika was not happy and didnt want to deal with Chance anymore. Talking to Anika and telling her how he really felt, she decided to try.
This was such a hot sexy book. Anika and Chance chemistry was strong and they really had some great lines through this book. It was also nice to see the other characters from the other books in the series!!

Sugar and Spice

I need more! This read was too short but packed a whole lot of sexy and spice. I need more of Anika and Chance and the rest of the gang. I need to know if they lasted past the holidays. The way they heated up these pages I’m sure they melted some of that snow in DC. Truly a feel good holiday read with lots of spice. Can’t wait for more from this author

Anika: If, “girl can do it too,” was a person it would be Anika. She knew the power of her divine feminine energy and how to wield it. She was driven. She was intelligent. She and she played the game better than most.

Chance: If, “turning over a new leaf,” was a person it would be Chance. My boy was fine, and he knew it. He was at the point in his life where he was ready for a change. Chance was just a lovable guy who wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted.

This story was funny and fun. This couple’s chemistry was red hot, and the moment the Cookie Monster came out to play it was game over. This short was sexy as hell. Nothing is sexier than a man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go for it no matter the situation. This must read will have you fanning yourself and ready to read it again just to revisit the Cookie Monster.

Milk & Cookies (Wild Thoughts Baecation) by M.T. Dixon is about Chance Brown and Anika Davis. If you’ve read previous WTB books then you know these two, I mean they’re kind of unforgettable! If you haven’t already I would suggest that you do! They say opposites attract but in this case like & like ignite 🔥 🔥 Chance the Cookie Monster Brown has met his match in Anika! She’s the female him and all his boys are clowning him for it. I mean Mr. Big pimpin is doing ALL the chasing! Anika is a boss, she’s in no way looking for love just some relief after her latest law school rejection letter. Read this to see if Chance’s D can speak to Anika’s heart this Christmas! P.s. this is a short and sweet delight, I’m lying these two are nasty 🤤😜 Like a good cookie this will leave you wanting more!

All I want to know is where is my Cookie Monster ?!?! 😭 I think Chance might be my new book boyfriend LOL I really enjoyed this novella! I thought Anika was blocking her blessings in the beginning but it all worked out for the best in the end. Chance finally met his match! I loved how he leaned into his feelings instead of trying to fight them. If both of them were in denial we definitely wouldn’t have gotten our happy ending 😫

I thought it was so crazy how when both of them were telling their friends about their encounter they never mentioned each other’s name lol I also thought it was so crazy all of them knew each other except for those two 😭 It’s such a small world 🌎

2nd helping

This is my favorite book so far in the past 13 months. I love how MT Dixon wrote a book that flowed and I can visually see everything taking place. The details in this book down to Love Jones and reciting poetry was everything( by the way Love Jones is my favorite movie). I would love to get a catch-up book on this couple maybe around Valentine’s Day. I will be telling all my fellow book readers to check out this book.
