The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Unfortunately, I was never that great of a cook.
I was about to be a grandmother. Of sorts. Not of actual human babies, mind you. That wouldn't have been possible as young as I am.
No, my grands would be puppies. To be specific, they would be Yorkie Doodle's puppies. Bottom line, they were family.
The trouble was convincing my boyfriend (and housemate) to accept the pitter-patter of an indefinite number of little pawed feet. I was afraid it wasn't going to be an easy sell. A little buttering up was in order.
The way I figured it, one nice big bond runner captured, and I'd have the money to pay off our home in full. And that should put my man in a very good mood, right?
It was a plan, anyway. And how hard could one bond capture be?
Belinda lives in a tiny house fairly close to McCormick’s Creek State Park in Indiana. She shares her home with a German Shepherd. Please note that any and all resemblances to Tazlynn Hunt, the main character in The Benandanti series, is purely coincidental.
Belinda White is not, in fact, a werewolf. No really, she isn't...
She is about to a gran but not in the normal sense but to a litter of puppies. Now she needs to persuade him so she decides to earn money for a bounty to pay the house off. Can she do it? How will she get it done? See how she gets on

Love this series. Ruby has to handle a case on her own without Amie, but Patty has offered to help, and Ruby finely found a spell so that Liz could leave the house for more than three hours. So she’ll have the ghost for help also. Now on the trail of a Nate who escaped with over 2 million dollars that he embezzled from several people, there’s a reward for his re-capture and a reward for the missing money. And if Ruby finds only the missing Nate she will be able to pay of her’s and Arc’s mortgage. The reward for finding the money would be extra “gravy”. But there are so many people out to find Nate, and especially the missing money. None of the other searchers are witches though so Ruby has an advantage. She hopes. Ruby is a bounty hunter and this time there is also money to be found. With her friends helping out in various way, she figures out where the man is and the money is. With help from the girlfriend of the man, the last sentence he said leads them to a cemetery. Her friend that works for the feds, is actually looking for the money as well, so they trade info. The ghost, with help from Ruby, gets to stake out the man on the boat and scare the stuffing out of him. People are helped financially, not using the loot, and she is surprises by the response to the puppy situation back home. Arc and some other friends are building a fence to protect the future puppies. Great ending.

I probably should have read this series in order, so I am going to read the previous books immediately after this. I enjoyed the story, although the animal aspect is more of a by-product.
Being a witch bounty hunter seems to carry with it the usual mother-daughter interactions. Also the typical personal relationship issues. Ruby wants to keep her relationship with Arc happy but she also sees an opportunity for financial gain. With her gal pal (and ghost) Liz by her side, Ruby is off for an adventure. Liz has her back more than Ruby counts on.
A fun adventure that gave me a taste of this series.
What the world really needs now is LOVE...puppy love! As someone who adores Yorkies, hearing that Mr. Yorkie Doodle is going to be a Daddy was music to my ears! With his human Mum being a Bounty Hunter, she is kept seriously busy. But having to find a way to butter up her partner into keeping said puppies has brought her into a case that just might do the trick! Can she catch the bond jumper and soften up her beau into puppy submission? The world wants to know! Loved every minute of it! Great read! Ruby Ravenswind, her ghost friend Liz and Liz's cousin Patty are searching for bounty jumper named Nate Wright. He had also embezzled several million dollars and he and the money were in hiding. Following up on something Nate's ex girlfriend said, they start tracing both the money and the fugitive. Can they find the money and bring in the fugitive? Maybe, maybe not.
Another fun read. I enjoy her writing style and love this family. The story moves along at a good pace. I enjoyed getting insite into Patty and Liz a bit. I feel like they have a lot of potential for stories. Have read all the books in this family's collection. I love that each character has their own book. It makes you feel i greater connection to a whole picture. Nice concept. Looking forward to more!
Thief The trouble was convincing my boyfriend (and housemate) to accept the pitter-patter of an indefinite number of little pawed feet. I was afraid it wasn't going to be an easy sell. A little buttering up was in order. The culprit is a thief. Ruby is on his trail. Will she catch him? I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
This was a really fun story. I loved how Ruby was able to catch the bad guy...and video it! Lol! Plus Yorki Doodle is going to be a daddy! How cute will that be?! I just had a really good time reading this and couldn’t put it down until I finished.

I know my fur babies communicate well without being able to talk like a human. Sometimes I think the way they talk to me is better than gold. They tell me what they want just fine and are great companions.
This story was good. I liked an independent strong Ruby and I loved the wrap up. There were so many layers of stories and relationships I was speed reading anxious to see it all work out. I adore the epilogue.
Loved them all.Stories & characters are great.Especially like the Yorkie & Destiny epilogs. The other books are great too.Hope there's more Yorkie & Team Destiny books coming.
Love these book. Short, funny, clean and cute. The PI team seems to be growing. Patty of all people? Turned out she was an asset, especially combined with Liz. Bad guy flew the coupe and then tried to be a fish. Good thing they had great bait!
An great tale wrapped into a small package. Now I have to go back and read all the other books Belinda White has written. While it was Yorkie Doodle that first caught my attention, he does not play a major role in the events of the story; he is important in the life of his mama and he is adorable. A good mystery and people I want to get to know better.
I am glad I read the other series first but really enjoy these sideways little jaunts with all the other characters staying true. Looking forward to more!
