Have I ever told you how much I dislike novellas? No? Well, I do, most of them anyway. I always want more, always feel like something is missing, and yes, I know I'm greedy. So what happens when one of my favourite authors releases a novella within a box set? Well, I read the damn thing, of course.

BEAUTIFUL MONSTER is the offering from Maya Daniels for the Romancing the Shifter Boxset and she has knocked it out of the park once more. Not only am I invested in Noah, Anika, Deb, Daideo, and the others, but she has managed to give me a complete(ish) story to fall in love with. Okay, so it is complete, but as I've already said, I want more!

This story is rounded out nicely, full of sass, snark, and plenty of steam hinting of things to come. The pacing is perfect, and the storyline gives you all the information you need, although not all you want! There is so much more hidden within the words, and I am really, REALLY, hoping that Ms Daniels makes this into a full-length novel or series. Either would work for me. I really not that fussy! 😉

A great addition to the box set and one I can highly recommend. Just please, for the love of all that's holy, let me have more!!!

What an amazing array of stories! I love shifter stories and you certainly meet a few in this anthology, the blurb describes them as affectionate and I think that’s a great word but possessive could be another. Witches, demons, nymphs and in the story I am going to focus on... vampires! 🩸

Night Terrors by Melissa Bell
I was hooked from the very beginning by the great characters and storyline, it intrigued me and needed to know more. I loved Bailey, the female lead character, she was so straightforward and honest. Quintin, the male lead character, was so caring... enough said about him... you have to read it yourself. This short story is filled with terrific expressions that often had me chuckling out loud. I truly hope this story is expanded later as it has the potential for even more, my mind has conjured up all sorts of things! 😆

Each book features strong characters and exciting adventures that kept me reading past my bedtime. Here are some of my favorites.

Doubly Bound - C.D. Gorri
The strength to lead
I am really loving this series! Each new book shines a star on a different sister and its fascinating to see their personalities mix so well with their males. I love that this book is focused on the eldest, otherwise known as the bossy sister, but when the author puts her in her element she sure does shine. Callan and Landry are the perfect mates for her and together the three of them can beat any bad guy, or girl as the situation calls for. The author did a fantastic job with this book and I can’t wait to see what happens next! I really hope she continues the series past the sisters, there are some supporting characters I would love to see get their HEA, Keeton I’m talking about you buddy. Regardless of what the author brings us next, I’m sure it’s going to be amazing!

I love to be wicked
What an amazing story! I didn’t want it to end! I loved the characters! The lost souls, the broken, the ones remade, each character added depth to the story that is so hard to reach in such a few short pages. The author kept the energy alive throughout the book and I was enthralled until the very end. I really hope that we get to see more of this pack of wolves, there are so many layers that I can’t wait to see resolved. And so many characters that I fell in love with.

Another great box set with wonderful stories I totally enjoyed. The shifters stories included in this box set has stories written by my favorites and some new ones that allowed me to sample their writings. The stories have lovely likable characters with romantic encounters and gripping action that kept me engage as I read. The first story in this set is:
Fox's Lady by Claire Davon
This was my first story I've read by this writer. The story is about Maddox Shunokhs, alpha, who must marry a pure bred female fox shifter to rule his Maine clan. When Maddox sees his childhood sweetheart Dakota Reveson again at a gala of eligible females, all he wants is to reconnect, but Dakota and her family are disgraced so he knows his parents would never approve. The family has chosen Cordelia as his mate but his heart wants Dakota, can they overcome and rise as a couple? This was a well written story I enjoyed reading and for a new writer a pleasure to find.

Really though.. this paranormal/fantasy romance collection is worth all the stars and then some! Spicy romance and page-turning action/adventure.. My favorites are from CD Gorri, Gina Kincade and Nikki Landis. But who can choose? These are all awesome stories!

I love having so many different authors coming together in a box set, its fantastic and I cant wait to discover some new and wonderful characters!
So far I have read Beautiful Monster by Maya Daniels and absolutely loved it! I'm hoping it will become its own series one day (hint, hint 😁)
Noah has been deserted in an isolated realm for centuries, nothing but him and the constantly attacking and vicious Kodiak Bears to keep him company. While he fights for survival, he dreams of revenge on the witch who cursed him to this place. She might not be alive any more, but any descendants of hers will pay the price.
In a world ran by men, Anika is about to be initiated into their ranks, the only female in the governing body - if she can keep her mouth shut, do a little display of her magic, and get accepted as an equal. The only problem is, Anika doesn't follow the rules, she's tired of those in power flaunting their wealth and prestige while degrading and disrespecting those deemed as a lower class.
One faithful day a series of events will cause these two come face to face and both will have to rethink everything they thought they knew if they are going to survive!
I can't wait for more!

I am leaving a review for Maya Daniel's Beautiful Monster

OMG! This cannot be it for Noah and Anika and their story~ Maya Daniels has managed to put out another story in a boxset full of fabulous authors. Noah is a cursed Alpha banished to a realm for over three centuries fighting for his life every day. Anika is a very powerful witch who must present her powers to the Elders to join their coven after her mother passes. The spell she casts is from a grimoire she found in the house and it let loose Noah~ He was determined to kill the ancestor of the witch who bound him…but what he found instead is a mate! Now, her sister and she are in mortal danger and he will have to do everything he can to protect them. Will he succeed? What do the grimoire and the spell have to do with anything? Did her foremother have a premonition about these two? We will have to discover these answers and more in the story and the full story Maya will publish soon.

What can be better than a box-set filled with amazing authors and great stories? I will be talking about Maya Daniels story Beautiful Monster. This book is absolutely amazing. Maya brings her own style of storytelling to this book. Noah and Anika are awesome characters. Noah was cursed and banished to another realm for centuries. Everyday was a fight to survive. Anika is a very powerful witch. She does a spell she found, and it releases Noah. He is determined to kill the witch or her ancestor who banished him. Little did he know the witch he finds would be his mate. This book has an amazing plot with epic characters. Such a great book. I am hoping this is not the end of Noah and Anika. I would love to see this story as a series.

Wow what a story, it will leave you thirsting for more. I would love to see Maya write this into a series.
Noah and Anika are great characters, ones a shifter that has been locked in a realm for centuries, fighting kodiac bears, the other is a witch and she releases him. Not knowing what else she releases as she does that and the connection they will have. The story captures you, and it is hard to put down. There is fire in both of these characters and more to their story, that I would love to know.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
One book within an AMAZING SET Doubly Bound -Sage is seeking some fun, fulfilment of wild fantasies at the annual sister’s weekend upon booking the weekend she failed to really read the details and just skimmed them and not realizing there was a Council of the Triads meeting being held and A Coven of Witches has set up women who are willing to mate with a shifter pairs to join the triads. Of course, Sage didn’t read this which was in the info when she booked the weekend. Sage needed this weekend her co-worker the boss’s nephew took credit for all her work and when he put his hands on her she punched it (good for her standing up for herself) hopefully it comes back to bite him anyway she needs this before joining the job search. Callan and Landry sexy as all get out shifters looking for their third which will complete them. Callan is a silver dragon, Landry is an Omega white mix breed (lion/tiger=liger) not sure how the two of them mesh up I mean think about a dragon and a liger and if you throw in a human who doesn’t even know shifters exist so let travel with them through the misunderstands, assumptions and will she accept them as her mates?

Each of these stories has a little bite of something for everyone. I loved all the stories I am a sucker for paranormal anything. There are dragons, witches, shifters, secrets, mystery, adventure, action, drama, and even a little danger. You will fall in love with something in these stories.

Most of the authors are new to me, and reading the stories helped me to decide if they write something I will enjoy.
Honestly, I love paranormal romance, but not all stories was for me.
Then there are few authors, I read and they stories are awesome.

Smokin hot! Damn! Is all I can say! These sisters are straight up freaks! I thought Ginger was hot... Sage was really out there lol. It’s sad though, in the beginning of the book she let drop a few things about this Matthew fellow and I think to myself there’s no way a guy like that can mask his ways so she was completely stupid giving herself to him and continuously stupid being used and walked on. I am thoroughly glad Matthew got just desserts. With that being said since this was a ménage👉🏾👌🏾💋 book you know the chemistry had to be off the charts and Gorri-Sensei brought the heat! I think that flame reached center of the earth temperatures. Even more so than the first book and that book melted my iPads screen! 🥵🤒I can only imagine how Ani’s story will play out since she’s the trios self proclaimed really out there freaky sister. But you know we find out some things about Sage that the other sisters didn’t know and I was very shocked to learn. I won’t say what those things were here naturally but I was shocked nonetheless. Also something happened at the end of Gingers book that confirmed some things for me here in Sage’s book. So we have a bigger picture and more answers of how the female plays her role in the triads relationship. (Hint hint). Lots of revelations come out in this book and some plot twists are revealed which makes no about things leading into book three. It makes me think about book threes plot being a trick and should be kind of ridiculous and easily defeated. Like just ignore it and kill the person ☠️👻that’s challenging Ani lol. But I’m just a simple bear. Although I think I said too much......maybe? Maybe not. You still have no idea what I’m talking about so there’s no spoilers there. You still have to read the whole book to have a clue then you will just agree with me 🤣. This series though so far has been superb. It’s been way too short though in my opinion. Did I mention we also meet a awesome Mountain lion shifter that will have a book soon? Look out for Keeton Grey! I can’t wait to read his book!! Yes, I am saying this with a straight face. 😂There’s an inside joke here for those that know me. Grab this series! The first book was Doubly Claimed! It was amazing! This book gets 5 meteors from me! ☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️This 🐻enjoyed this book immensely!. I know you will too

This wonderful and entertaining 15 books in The Shapeshifter Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy Anthology 2 has steamy, standalone shifter Romances with interesting, rugged and sexy alpha male shifters and their women. These very well written books have sexy characters who are well crafted with good histories and personalities. These have an amazing storylines with mystery, action, twists, turns, romance, danger, HEAs and love. These characters in these books are very well written with problems that they must resolve with the characters evolving throughout each story. Must read authors and stories.

I read CD Gorri's story in the collection

Callan and Landry are the hear Alpha/omega pair and head of the council. They are doing their best to find Alpha/omega pairs their fated third but due to a lack of female shifters they haven't had much luck. This year they have made an agreement with a white witch coven. The witches are going to perform spelss that will find potential human thirds. The witches will then explain shifters to them and what it means to be in a mated triad. Now it is time for the first weekend and things do not seem to be going well. Then Callan and Landry scent their mate and things start to get a little crazy.

Sage is the oldest of the Freeman sisters and usually the responible one. She had planned a weekend getaway for the sisters but just before the trip, she quit her job. She is tired of working hard and other people taking credit for it. She is now on her vacay and ready to have some fun. When she sees Callan and Landry, she realizes the fun she wants is to be the filling in their sandwich. They take her back to her place for a passionate night but the next morning turns Sage's world upside down as her eyes are opened to a whole new world.

When you let yourself be open, you can get more than expected. Sage is the oldest, considered more responsible of the three sisters. She is not having much luck in the romantic department. Callan and Smyth, the most powerful and leaders on the council announce they are opening the option for A-O pairs to find their mates among humans. They hope this solution, leads to an increased population on Moongate Island. They decide to use the Witches to help guide women to the Island. The sisters get to the island and notice the delicious hotness of the men, and that they all come in pairs. Will Callan get it together enough to articualte words to communicate with Sage? Will Smyth calm down so he can balance Callan? Will Sage be open to a triad? Will Sage graciously accept surprises? Deliciously fun and funny. The sisters are a hoot. Absolutely enjoyable watching the relationships forming and evolving. Great story. Well done. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Romancing the Shifter Anthology 2 . . .

If you love dragons and the paranormal in general, then this is definitely a must-buy collection for you! There are all sorts of characters to read about and fall in love with: big burly bears, fiery dragons, stealthy wolf shifters, and other supernatural creatures like vampires, demons, witches, and more! And all kinds of goings on to keep the reader fully engrossed and loving every minute of it! Don’t miss out on this great selection! The writing is good and the selections are perfect!

Each story features alpha males and the lucky female who wins their hearts. Each one has drama and some problems to overcome before they do eventually achieve their HEA. There is some hot chemistry going on in these books. And having all of these great stories in one box set makes it easy to find the perfect way to fill your hours with enjoyment! The variety provides something special for everyone!

This was a super fun , instant attraction fated mates paranormal romance with one snarky female, Sage, and two strong shifters, Callan an alpha silver dragon, and Landry an omega liger. Callan and Landry are a pair that had been looking for their mate for a long time, as well as help other shifter pairs find their mates. Through a series of events, Sage ends up on their island and their attraction to each other is instant. There are a few twists and surprises along the way. Will definitely be looking for the next book to catch up with Sage’s sister.

'Romancing The Shifter' anthology has 13 individual stories from various authors about dragons, bears, witches, vampires, and so many more. Each story is a stand alone with a sexy alpha and courageous heroine who meet and find their happy ending after some adventure.
The stories are full of drama, action, romance, passion, and great endings. The stories are engaging, entertaining, and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this box set to anyone who would like to have a few hours of escape with sexy alpha males and happy ever endings.

The second in this trilogy, dang......just as good as the first. I have to say, I related a bit more with Sage. She's a take charge and action kinda chic. (Even if she had a breakdown for a minute) Taking on a Triad is one thing, but Callan and Landry were both Alphas. Of course she nailed it! At the end of the day, she rocked her role. She will also settle these boys and make a huge impression on the Council. I loved every second of it. Ani and her 'cowboys', that should be fun. Thanks for another amazing read. I am reviewing one of the books in this box set- Doubly Bound by C D Gorri. This book is the 2nd of the Freeman Sisters story. Sage goes on a weekend break to Moongate Island with her two sisters. Callan is an Alpha Silver Dragon and Landry is an Omega White Liger (Lion/Tiger) who form two parts of a triad and are looking for their third, they are also the head of the council of triads and are at Moongate Island for a conference with the council, when they meet Sage who they want as their third. Has good characters and full of action and drama.

This is a wonderful set of books. These ladies did a wonderful job with this set. I loved CD Gorri's the best, but that is because I love her work. I am glad they introduced me to more authors because of this set. CD and the ladies brought it home. If you want to read about a lot of different couples and shifters, then this set will be for you. You get a lot of different scenarios along with all the emotions your body and brain will be in shock. I am so glad I took a chance on this set.

This collection of stories was very enjoyable! So many different paranormal characters! They have them all! These authors keep you captivated with their stories with so much action, drama, romance, humor, and sexy times! Very enjoyable and entertaining read! Highly recommend this collection!

This is a great collection of stories that span different styles of writing but all feature an alpha male and the gal that wins his heart. Expect steam, drama, twists, fascinating characters and wonderful plots to lead you to each HEA. All very entertaining and a great place to lose yourself in binge reading heaven ;)
