Heavily influenced by authors such as Laurell K. Hamilton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Suzanne Collins, and George R.R. Martin, she brings those dreams to life through richly imagined realms that invite readers to escape, reflect, and return for more.
Outside the pages of Iryvalya, LeAnn enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, and soaking in the energy of nature. She is also a dedicated advocate for CHD (Congenital Heart Defect) awareness—a cause close to her heart since her daughter was born with CCTGA.

This book was soooo good! I can’t wait for the next book! Out of the 2 books in the series, this is my favorite!

Similar to my review of the first book in the series, I want to mention this is not normally the genre I read. I was excited to once again support my friend by reading her continuation of the new world and characters she started. LeAnn continues to develop her female lead character, having her grow through her relationships, both good and bad, and through her relationship to the world she is exploring and learning to love. If you began to attach yourself to Iryvalya in Leann's first book, you will be happy with how she continues to shape it and her characters during this next part of the journey.
