A medical/family drama, Reaching Lima takes us from rural Ohio to downtown Chicago and back again. Grace Lewis, a small-town farm girl with big dreams of modernized agriculture, discovers upon waking from a six-week coma, that she is actually Grace Samuels, marketing consultant and graduate student. The life she lived in Lima was a lie, concocted by her overactive imagination inside the coma; in her real life, she suffers from total amnesia. Deciding to hide these other memories from her family proves to be a mistake, however, and Grace slowly learns that if she can open up, she may find that her real family has been there all along.
