Cree’s one mission for this Christmas is to continue his grandmother’s legacy. India just wants peace and to get through the holiday without incident. Neither of them expected to have their heart snatched in the blink of an eye. Does Santa really grant wishes in the ghetto?
Just call him St. Nick because Cree is on a mission to continue to carrying out the work of his late grandmother by providing for the community and giving back in a way that builds and uplifts those not in a position to do so alone.
While giving out food baskets, he knocked on the wrong door that ended up being oh so right. After just finishing up a 12 hour nursing shift all India wanted to do was sleep but instead she is caught up in Cree’s web and realizes there is no way of getting loose.
Things happened EXTREMELY fast in this book. One minute India is telling Cree who the families in need were and the next she’s shacking up with him while being showered with gifts. I’m all for the girlies being spoiled but this was insta insta love and sometimes when things happen that quickly, us readers don’t get the opportunity to fully connect with the characters in the story.
It’s no shocker that the book ended on a cliffhanger so we are left with unanswered questions and quite honestly may never get them. I guess I should start expecting this from AP novellas moving forward.
Omg I need part 2! This definitely didn’t end the way I expected and I need to know what they got going on in the Ghetto. Can’t wait for the next book.
Cree is bae for real... this book was so darn good. I need part 2 ASAP. The way the book ended after everything happen and the sex. Chillllleee I need more
This is just a glimpse of the action to come between Cree and India. At least I hope it is 😕. Cree Came In Like a boss granting everyone's wish even India's. If anyone deserves a love of their own it's India.
Where is part 2?! I need it ASAP! That ending left me craving more!
Cree wants to keep his grandmothers legacy by providing for the hood during the holiday season.
India is a hard-working nurse who wants to get through the holidays without incident.
When these two meet, the chemistry was coming off the pages. Cree is a man who knows what he wants, and he NEEDS India. He is the definition of put your money where your mouth is. That man was playing no games, and I can’t wait to read more of him.
I really loved it but I hate that it ended on a really unclear cliffhanger. India is a trauma nurse that’s dealing with her parents death anniversary and just trying to make it through Christmas. Her brother, Von is a street pharmacist that doesn’t want to leave the HOOD. He is playing multiple women and leaving India to handle the drama. She meets Cree, a compassionate gangster ( the ones we dream about) and he just wants to make her happy. Cree is my man my man my man lol. He came through like a real boss. Although her brother was making money, India was in survival mode. Cree came along and made her feel alive. I really disliked the ending because well it’s a Christmas romance with a so so ending. I do hope there is a full book with India and Cree. I would love to see her get her happily ever after and out of her brothers mess.
Another erotic short for the Ganton Hills series this time a Christmas novelette and it was fine except that it ended unresolved on a bit of cliffhanger. The premise is that trauma nurse, India, is just trying to make it through Christmas, which is always a difficult season for her, without to much drama from her brother and his complicated drug-dealing, woman-juggling life when she randomly meets Cree, a compassionate gangster who’s her brother’s uplink, and who just wants to look after her. I thought the premise was cute, the instalove tracked with rest of the books in this series but I don’t know that the unresolved ending was necessary (in my opinion) in a Christmas romance- I think this could have been closed out in this book.
I enjoyed reading this short story, I mean imagine meeting a guy on a fluke. This was mere coincidence that he knocked on her door trying to spread some Christmas cheer that wasn’t available. Bestie takes your shift and the handsome stranger just happens to be standing outside the hospital at your car…wow! Anyway, talk about reading the room, this man was attracted to her and just knew she was his…this only covered the first encounter, not sure what happens afterwards. I am hoping the next book will give some more insight into this budding romance.
Oh and there was unexpected drama at the end…need an update on that jazz too!
I got this book free and decided to read it this morning. I was late for everything because it was too good. Aubree Pynn NEVER misses!
I really like that despite being a short, it had a plot, full character development and a bit of smut, just enough to tide you over considering how short the book is. It literally is so well written and captivating.
Only thing I didn't like is how it ended like what going to happen to Goldie and the money and the drugs? Will she reach out to Cree!!
There can be no Christmas without good sex and a little ghetto. The author of this book knew that and made sure this novelette had just that. India doesn't really celebrate Christmas any more, but she tries for the sake of tradition. When a dark and mysterious stranger accidentally knocks on her door, he does more than fill her with holiday cheer. The spirit of Christmas, among with other things, were displayed in this book and I loved it!
Okay, can I book my one way ticket to Ganton Hills please? 😁 Cree is the ish you hear me? Came through like a boss, making his presence known! India, was surviving not living at all. Getting caught up in her brother's mess, and drowning in her own grief. Cree came barging into her life, and gave her a reason to smile again. Ohhh.... than ending tho! Cannot wait to see what Miss Goldie will do. Another great one AP! 👍👍👍
One thing about India is she protects her brother Von while still caring for the patients she crosses being a nurse in the hospital. It is Cree who wants to change that for her and that he definitely started doing. I can’t wait to see more of where this blooming relationship is headed along with how India takes over Von’s business being that he’s now in hand cuffs.
This story had me giddy. Cree really came in like Black Santa and gifted India with more than she expected. India only has her brother and Kennedy until Cree knocks on that door with the Holiday giveback.
Aubree Pynn has written another instant attraction story and I am here for it! Cree might just be another favorite of mine because he was pressure from the jump and he didn’t ease off of no necks.
Aubree writes with just enough to keep you wanting more. I need more of Goldie, Cree and Ganton Hills. Of course she had to add officer No Good which means that drama is coming soon. This was just the book to end a wonderful day. Great job once again by an amazing author.
Whew Chile!!! Oh Aubree you did it again. I truly enjoyed this story. Cree and India were so refreshing. Family was everything and India like she was drowning but little did she know Cree would be the one to keep her floating 🤎🤎🤎. They felt like a tease which left me wanting so much more. I just know the follIw up will be greater 🤎🤎
Another great short story. India is trying to make it through Christmas and not be sad. Cree is just what she needs to take her mind off the pain. Von getting shot on Christmas doesn't help. I'm ready for part 2. India with that slick mouth gonna boss up and handle that cop.
That Cree is number one book bae of 2020!! A man that's the perfect mix of gentleman and street, knows what he wants and how to get it, attentive, and lays it down in the bedroom?? Sign me up! India was smart to not give into a chance like that. I'm ready to see what happens next!!
Let’s go Goldie. Show us what you got😉. Loved Cree, can’t wait to see more of these two. Disappointed in how Von treats his baby momma.😔. Hoping it works out for him..the little situation he’s in at the end there. Can’t wait to see if Goldie goes to Cree for help. I’m here for it👏🏽👏🏽💃🏽💃🏽. Let’s go🥳🥳
Great short about a man on a mission who meets a lovely but resigned and lonely young lady near Christmas. He pursues, she tells him to get the hell on, he continues to pursue as well as conspire to be close to her, and she gives in. Wasn’t ready for it to end, especially with what happens on Christmas morning!
The way this book left me on a cliffhanger gurlll lol. Cree I need to know more about him lol but in a good way. Cree pulled up on the scene modesty but well known in the city it seems. India is a sweetheart dealing with grief while working at a job that can show you all different types of trauma. Cree showed up and showed out for our gurl. Hopefully, the vibe continues on when we get an update.
Why you leave us wit that....like that... Come through Cree and Honey... Aubree don't make us wait to much longer NAH you know we Need to know what's gone happen next. The Black Love Author
WOw!!!!! Ms. Pynn, I can't believe you left us hanging like that!!!!! This short story was da bomb🧨🧨🧨🧨. Ms. Pynn never disappoints with Ganton Hills. The characters are everything. The men are hot and the women are feisty. Another good one👏👍✍✔🔥❤🥰
I tell you each Ganton hills story is as good as the one before or better. I’m salivating at the man she calls Cree. My goodness as soon as you had me trapped you ended it and I need more Cree in my life.
I kind of suspected this one would end in a non conclusion with the amount of things still to deal with collectively. Whew! I will return to see what's going to happen. Cree to the rescue.
When the book ended, I instantly need more. From the brother to the sister, there is so much that can be expected. Hope the author will continue the story. Definitely a good novella.
Loved India’s tough but softness. Absolutely loved the way Cree fed her spirit, body and mind! Whew! Hate the cliffhanger but love this series and know there’s more great GH reading to come!
