I’m not sure where to start with this. I skimmed a lot of it since these novellas seem to have a lot of filler.
Anyway there’s been mistakes and inconsistencies throughout this series. But unless I’ve missed something major (which is possible since I skimmed so much and as far as I can see no one else has moaned about it). As far as I was aware the full moon is the only time a werewolf can’t shift yet here one does.

“There’s a full moon tonight. You guys will be defenseless. We have to leave. We all have to leave now, before nightfall!"

“Even though we won’t be able to shift,” Xavier attempted to reason with me.

“It’s after six. We can’t shift.”

Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a wolf flew through the air, knocking others over in the process. It charged me at full speed with sharp white canines bared.

Despite the huge mistake I’m continuing on to read the final novella. Wish me luck.

This series are amazing!!

I have been reading this amazing story from book one. A lot has happened throughout the book. Ruby has been dealing with a lot of situations hard to overcome but she's a tough girl and she has two powerful mates to protect her Xavier he's sweet and loyal on the other hand Axel is rough and savage. Both will protect her and be by her side for what's to come (vampires) and their vampire queen.
Can't wait for book 5. I love this books so much. Romance, conspiracy and betrayal a lot of emotions and some silly situations will make you read from the beginning till the end.

Finally we are getting somewhere. Finally got some answers. So Elder Lovette is her mom and she was given life by the goddess after she was born because she died. Her dad is Malcolm who was human but is now a black magic warlock. He is helping her get answers. The vampire queen knows what Ruby is and wants to stop her. There was a POV from a vampire general, I’m curious to see if he is somehow important in the war that’s going to happen.

“I peeked around him as the shadow began to shimmer, and a man, a real man, appeared. He had black eyes, much like a werewolf, and red hair. We watched as he brushed his hands down the sleeve of his long black coat. “Hello Ruby,” he said pleasantly, “nice to see you again.“

It’s been three weeks since Ruby’s confrontation with the vampires that saw them burned to a crisp from her mysterious burgeoning powers. As a consequence she spent three days in a coma. Having learned of her abilities, the Council has put out a contract out for her capture, forcing the Pack to go on the run.

With the vampires continuing their violent rampage, the supernatural community has now been exposed to humans. While vampires add to their ranks, wolves have been forced to go into hiding due to humans regarding them as an equal threat to vampires. Ruby, herself is approached by the Paranormal Eradication Agency who want to examine her gifts at a secret facility to aid them in their fight against the vampires. To add salt to injury, the Pack discovers a traitor in their midst.

To protect the Pack from those who are hunting for Ruby, Xavier and Axel accompany her to the PEA’s secret facility. On route however, they are attacked by the dark shadow whose identity is finally unveiled. Ruby now finds herself face to face with someone who not only has crucial answers to her forgotten past but is about to bring her whole world crashing down...

Luna Darkness is the fourth instalment of the Luna Rising series. Told from multiple points of view that include; Luna, Xavier, Axel and Natalie, the book picks up three weeks after the events of the previous book. The use of alternating perspectives throughout the series has been a bonus as it’s enabled me to have deeper insight into the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.

This was an exciting continuation and pivotal book in the series which sees Ruby finally learn who and what she is as well as the reason behind her memory loss. We are also briefly introduced to the uber-villain who promises to be a formidable foe. The next instalment is shaping up to be an epic battle in which the stakes have never been higher. I’m looking forward to seeing what the author has in store for our trio.

I received an advanced free audible copy of Luna Rising which was narrated by Meg Price. I was impressed with her clear, concise delivery which made it easy to differentiate between the characters

It’s fine, but I just feel like this series has become more and more monotonous. Some interesting things are happening, but there’s so much filler, and so far I could see these 5 books easily becoming one, if not two total. I’ve realized now as well that the romance is lacking a lot, especially with the whole two male one female deal. Sure they say they care and will fight for you, but it all seems like nothing is happening. Just a little blah, but I’ll finish out the series.

A lot happened in this book but I had to rate it lower for all the plot holes and general confusion.

The next book better pick up where this finished (edit: it did)

I’m done

This whole collection could be so much more... this review is about the 4 books so far and I will not be reading book 5! Ruby has a whole mystery going on but its been 4 books and I still don’t have a clue what she is, let’s not even talk about the “relationship” that she’s supposed to have with The wolves that is basically none existent! 2 kisses in 4 books unbelievable!!! I just realized I lost so many hours of my time and this is what I came to see... I am disappointed ☹️

Best of the series so far. There has been more action, more plot twists (although I picked up on the main plot twist back in book 1 Luna Rising when Natalie meets the other Enchanted so I don’t know if I can call it a plot twist for myself personally), and far more emotions and Ruby is growing as a person which I was desperately hoping for in this book as she has seemed to be an annoying teenage girl up until this point. Not sure how I feel about her relationship with Axel growing as I was rooting for her and Xavier but clearly from the beginning the author has done the double mate bond for a reason. I’ve never read this in other books except for when the Alpha/Mate have been twins but again this will hopefully be covered in more detail why she has 2 mates now we know the goddess saved her. Again personally I feel this was simply written and characters could have been explored more as it focused so much on Ruby you didn’t really get anyone else’s POV towards the end. I would have liked a Malcolm POV rather than just seeing it through Ruby’s POV. It is an easy to read book in the series and short. Not my favourite kind of books as I prefer longer, more in depth chapters. I enjoyed how Snow has introduced us to the main villain, The Vampire Queen through the POV of an unknown General in her castle. This clearly opens the door for an insight into the Vampire side of things, although I think I’ve pretty much sussed ‘Unknown’ already (film and media student so I tend to pick up on these things right away). This book feels less like a teen/young adult book but I wouldn’t say it is hardcore fantasy.

Ooookay, so I've enjoyed this series. Ruby hasn't bugged me and neither has her attitude...until now.

She finds out a BIG WTF and what does she do? She snaps. Like legit has a mega power induced temper tantrum in the middle of no where while vampires are coming towards them all. I mean, I get that her power is super overwhelming but...really? She just loses her shit right then and there and we're all supposed to be like awww poor Ruby? If anything I'm sitting here going, okay girl, i get this is a lot and this is shit but put your big girl panties on and compartmentalize! I mean maybe this is because we've been told her life was rough but haven't actually got a lot of how it was rough? Like I can't really emphasize with her. And as a person who did have a rough childhood (yea totes self-disclosing there) I cannot relate to the total meltdown this girl is having. Like she's all tough on the outside but inside she's a friggen mess. Anyway, I just sort of felt this 2-year-old magical meltdown was over the top and if anything my respect for Ruby dropped. The rest of the story from there on out was all the same. Ruby has just been one emotional rollercoaster after another. We shall see how this all plays out though! I've invested too much by this point

„Luna Darkness“ is already the fourth installment in the “Luna Rising Series” by Sara Snow, following Ruby Saunders in her journey through the supernatural world. In this new adventure the stakes are higher than ever, as werewolves and vampires joint together to hunt the humans close to annihilation, while the humans still believe the world belongs to them and nobody else. Ruby’s life has been a rollercoaster full of surprises since that faithful day she was attacked in the middle of the night and discover that her “destiny” as an alpha true-mate. However, the last development is something she could not have expected in her wildest nightmares. As she is forced to kill two attacking vampires, there is a new shift in her power and make her the überfreak, from whom absolute everybody (humans, vampires, werewolves) wants a bite. It’s the end of the world, as Ruby knows it.

A well written, interesting story with likeable characters and some new twists around the werewolf myth, that blends fast-paced action and likeable characters into a well written short story that can be easily devoured in one or two bites 😉

I think my only complaint about this book is that it's too short. I've already sped through 4 of the books in 2 days.

From Ruby working part time to suddenly being hunted by vampires, werewolves and god-knows whatever supernatural being- she deffo could not have predicted that in her new year goals nor having two mates .

We're one step closer to getting down to the bottom of Ruby's heritage and powers whilst the world is crumbling around her with different threats and pressures. Since the 1st book of the series, Xavier has been her constant anchor whereas, Axel was distinctly against the mate bond. Axel's character development was more apparent and surprisingly, he's overtaken Xavier.

I enjoyed Sara Snow's writing style with the multiple POVs; even if they're not the main characters like Mathieu and Natalie. It adds a little bit of spice into the mix and makes life that tad bit richer.

Pivotal book in the series - this one had all sorts of reveals, but still left a few secrets for the 5th book. Relationships are changing and conflicts are heating up. Ruby is feared, revered, protected, shunned - and facing an enemy far greater than she imagined in a conflict waged longer than she dreamed. With so much at stake, can she figure out her powers before all is lost? The glimpses into the vampire's hold are especially creepy. This is shaping up to an epic final battle.

The interaction between Ruby and her two men stays clean in this book, nothing past a couple kisses and some cuddling with the focus being on their growing friendship, companionship and trust. And boy is it a good thing she has them by her side with what this book throws at her. Far more psychological conflicts that physical in this book, although those were there too. Exciting continuation of the story with big promises to deliver on.

4 stars for Luna Darkness by Sara Snow. This is book four in the Luna Rising series. More and More of Ruby’s past is coming to light in this book and wow what a shocker. “Everyone’s life was filled with mistakes, poor choices, small, victories, and everything in between. It was all theirs and theirs alone to face.” This book was filled with all kinds of reveals. Xavier, Axel and Ruby’s relationship is growing closer. Ruby is growing into her powers even if she cannot control them yet. Everyone: the werewolves, vampires, and the humans are out to get Ruby. There is so much going on and I am looking forward to seeing how it all comes together.

Ruby is showing new powers and can now fight the vampires with Axel and Xavier. She now has new powers but is unable to control these powers and now all are seeking to kill her. The humans, the vampires and the werewolves are all trying to et rid of her. She meets a being that she remembers the feel of from her past. Should she be against him before she knows anything about him? He is very confusing to the three of them and then knowledge of him makes it worse. I was given an ARC for this audible book and this is my honest review.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.

And…….cliffhanger

Thank the heavens I’ve access to all these books or I would go crazy. We return to the crazy world as they are struggling with vampires and Ruby is growing stronger. There is so much goin on in this books it’s hard to touch it all and not give it away. We are getting closer to what Ruby truly is, but sometimes knowing the truth is harder than the not knowing at all.

Surprisingly nice bad..

I like how the author shows the story than telling it. Lots of actions. The mc got annoying though on this book. Good to know what Ruby's power is about. Good reading but the ending is another cliffhanger. SS is quite a talented writer for sure. Can't wait for the next one. The only bad part is the book was too short.

Bummed

There is a lot going on.. and not really in a good way. Yes things are happening but it's as of the author had 5 or 6 plot ideas and decided to just use them all. None of them are well thought out or cohesive. I will read the next book but only because it'll end this series and I've invested too much time in to not see it through.

Loved this book. It was cool to see Ruby to start coming into her powers and finding out who she is and who Malcom is. The ending was also really interesting. Since it sounded as if the vampire queen was changing into something. I look forward to the ending and Im a little bummed its not on audio yet.

Ruby

Ruby's powers are growing but she can't control them. The council wants her, so do the humans. A special group infiltrates the werewolf compound. They want her to train with them and help defeat the vampires. She agrees but only if Xavier and Adel come with her. Her father a warlock takes her to his house and shows her her mother was Elder Love the.

Two wolves one girl

I have been really enjoying reading this series. I like the story and the characters. I gave it a 4 star review this time because this book ended abruptly. I wish we could have at least a cliffhanger or wait for something to happen. The ending was just blah. Hopefully the last book is good.

Not enough

I have enjoyed this series thus far and this book is no exception. It is well written and the story is still good, but this was a fluff book. Almost nothing happened to further the storyline.
