I recently read the Alliance Series box set. It consists of four separate stories that follow many tactful agents throughout their various journeys.

The first book in the series, Deadly Alliance, was a serial killer seeking revenge on the one she is convinced ruined her life, even though she is psychotic. Two talented secret agencies are forced to cooperate to put an end to the numerous murders. The killer is always one step ahead of both groups of agents, until her emotions get the best of her. She murders important people and kidnaps an agent that will ultimately end her life.

I enjoy the creation of these organizations that are protecting people. I noticed that there were a couple holes left in some character storylines, as if there was meant to be further elaboration but it had been left out. That left me unsatisfied when reading and confused. This book started an unrealistic feeling of the views of love and lust which continues throughout the series. I did enjoy the storyline and the adventure that the characters went through. It brought forth some positive, powerful women to the forefront of the stories.

The second book, Knight Watch, introduces that new agency, The Alliance Agency. It was about a greedy and powerful man who abuses his power and his niece. With his relatives dead, he hides money in his nieces name and, now, must get rid of her. He didn’t count on the Alliance Agency being so good at its job when he hired them to find his niece when he sets up her kidnapping. They put together his plans and save Sydney and put her under their protection.

I really enjoyed this storyline that follows Sydney’s difficult life of abuse. I liked the suspense, thrill, and adventure. I also liked meeting and getting to know the Alliance Agency in more depth. Their strong characteristics and skills that they possess are amazing. I, however, did not find this love match a believable one and it made my eyes roll. The way the romance was produced was not appealing and off-putting. The romantic characters had no build to truly love one another and produces a struggle between knowing whether their story is one of love or lust.

The third book, Hidden Obsession, follows the path of someone’s life longing for another and the lengths they will go to make their dreams a reality. This line can be crossed by anyone, even ones that you think you can trust and count on. Also, the past comes back to haunt a member of the agency and it has its own set of consequences. These two challenges make for a twisted adventure. The situations within this story were a true enigma.

This book and its relation to the romance story was much more realistic and enjoyable to read. The characters truly knew each other and the differences between love and lust were not problematic for more.

The fourth book, Lethal Justice, introduced the subject of gang violence and brought attention to amputees. Though one was much more prevalent, I feel they are both important subjects to read about. Gang violence is a huge issue for these characters but shows the possibility of better endings to tragic stories.
This overall series was full of action, drama, lust, and loss. The flow from one book to the next was well done. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more depth. I, however, did not enjoy what these authors considered love. The romances were rushed and not believable in most cases. I believe these books were filled with lust disguised as love and were encompassed in 50% of each book.

I received this box set for free in exchange for my honest opinion. These opinions are my personal thoughts and feelings.

DEADLY ALLIANCE:
I unknowingly started this series by reading book 3 first, so I enjoyed going back to the start and reading about the couples I had already met in that one.
This was Shane and Emme's story. Shane wants to find the serial killer responsible for his best friend's sister's death. As Emme bears a close resemblance to the previous victims, a plan is made to lure the killer out, using her as bait. For this to happen, Emme and Shane pose as a married couple, and of course, this brings them closer together.
I love a romantic suspense novel, and I enjoyed this one. Shane and Emme are both strong, capable characters in their own right, but I always question why the women in stories like these go off and try to confront the bad guys alone, without telling anyone where they are going. It seems to be a common theme. But aside from that, I liked the story and the characters, and like that there's a little epilogue giving us a look at their future.

KNIGHT WATCH:
Kingsley and Sydney come together when the Alliance Agency is hired to find Sydney who is "missing". Sydney was a victim of a horrible assault as a teenager, and the person responsible isn't done with her just yet. However, Kingsley and the Alliance staff will do everything within their power to keep her safe.
Sydney and Kingsley's relationship was a sweet one, and he is careful to not overstep, due to her past. I liked how Sydney's story will continue within the agency, even though she's not a trained team member. I also loved the little epilogue at the end.
Though I don't feel there was as much heat and suspense, romantically, as the other couples in this series, I still enjoyed reading their story.

HIDDEN OBSESSION:
When Cleo is followed after leaving work one day, Mason comes to her rescue, and they discover this is not random, but she is actually being stalked. The agency delves into her unknown past looking for potential suspects, and when the stalker continues to taunt Cleo, she ends up closer to Mason than she ever thought she'd get, and they both fall fast, and hard.
Oh, I liked this one! Cleo is a fun character, who is always in control, and believes Mason to be her total opposite, but I think they are totally suited for one another. They both do silly things in the name of protecting the other, as characters in books like these do, but ultimately know they are meant to be, and won't let that go quickly.
I really enjoyed the twists and suspense in this story (though I did guess what was really going on) and I always love a good romance plot. Another great read in the series!

LETHAL JUSTICE: (I read this one first)
I really enjoyed this book. Romance, suspense and action - what’s not to love?
I haven’t read the first two books in this series, but wasn’t lost at all. The story centres around gangs and crooked cops, with Frida, a lawyer trying to stop them, and Malco, who comes to her aid in a time of need, and doesn’t want to let her go.
Frida and Malco both have complicated pasts, but it is something that brings them closer, rather than pushes them apart. I loved that even though both are very strong willed, they always tried to see things from the other’s perspective.
This was a great read! I need to go back and read the first two now!

The Alliance Agency is a series written by 2 amazing authors Maddie Wade and India Kells. It is the first four books in the series starting with the prequel that tells how the Agency gets its start.

Deadly Alliance is Shane and Emme's story. Shane is an operative of a group called Purgatory in the US. He is eager to start on the hunt for a serial killer and it's personal. He's not so thrilled when they have to team with UK agency Fortis and his partner is a new agent. But Emme shows him she’s more than capable.
This one has some Rollercoaster moments and has all of the feels that a great read should. If you like enemy to lover stories,  you'll love this one!

Knight Watch
Knight Watch is Kingsley Knight and Sydney Rutherford's story. Kingsley was introduced in Deadly Alliance. He is given lead on the agencies first case, which is a missing persons case, which soon evolves into a kidnapping case. Sydney has had a difficult past, and the one person she should trust is the one person she hates. Kingsley Co to her rescue and she slowly learns to trust him. But she still needs protection.
This book has descriptions of sexual assault and may trigger some. It's an intense read, and I liked this one a lot.

Hidden Obsession
This is the second book in Maddie Wade and India Kells wicked awesome (yes, I'm originally from Boston) Alliance Agency series. I honestly could read these books nonstop,  and so far, this one is my favorite. (I too have Violet hair, and am a tad quirky. )
This is about office manager and do it all girl Cleaning, the violet haired wonder woman of the Alliance agency and the man she has a crush on. Suit wearing,  quiet,  and brilliant ex-Secret Service agent Mason Brantley is the opposite of outgoing Cleo. But a stalker soon changes the way they see each other.
I just love the interaction between the two of them, and I positively love Cleo!
This series and its characters are fast becoming near and dear to my heart. The writing is top notch and these ladies are just fabulous authors.

Lethal Justice
This is the third book in the Alliance Agency series and last book in the box set. The good news is that the series isn't over. The slightly bad news is that this isn't one of my favorites. I still like it, but I personally am finding the stereotype of the evil white racist cop to be annoying. While they exist,  there are also many,  many good cops, and that seems to be overshadowed.
Personal rant aside,  this is Frida and Malco"s book. Both are fighting the ever problematic gang war in Miami along with corruption in the police department and DA's office. But someone doesn't want Frida investigating,  so she needs the help and protection of the Alliance gang.
This is still a good read and well written,  just not a subject I prefer to read about.

In total,  this was just a fantastic box set to read. There are times I'll skip books or not finish books in a set due to lack of interest. I was riveted the whole way through. I can't wait for more!  ..

DEADLY ALLIANCE: Shane and Emme

Shane needs to find the person responsible for his bestie's little sister's murder. Hs best bet is using a decoy - one on the shape of English operative Emme. But can he really throw Emme as bait? Will his burgeoning feelings for the feisty operative get in the way?

Shane and Emme are great characters. Emme was maybe a wee bit TOO independent and feisty, almost becoming devil-may-care and putting herself in danger is not going to catch the bad guy! I did enjoy their story and there is plenty to be happy about.

KNIGHT WATCH: Kingsley and Sydney. Kingsley was an EOD specialist with the Royal Marines but he was looking for a fresh challenge. His first case with Alliance Agency seems easy enough.
Find a kidnapped female and get her back to her uncle. But something is off with the uncle and as he and the team dig deeper, more and more things don't add up. Sydney has been hiding from her odious uncle for years. He and his crony too something precious from her, something n family member should do to someone they love. But when a huge, bada%% male breaks her from her prison, can she really trust him, especially when he states they got the case from her uncle?

A very emotional and triggering stryline handled with deft care. Sydney is a warrior woman! Kingsley was everything you want in a hero: protective, possessive, caring. He just needs to let Sydney flourish and he'll reap the rewards of her growing independence.

HIDDEN OBSESSION: Cleo and Mason
Cleo's obtained a stalker and the danger is increasing in leaps and bounds. Mason, the other English agent at Alliance, comes to her rescue and what follows is an adventurous, fast-paced love-story. Cleo s hilarious and just so damn good at her job - those agents won't get anything past her. She will do anything for those she decides are "family" - she just doesn't seem to grasp that they'd do the same for her. Mason is totally a James Bond for the modern age! I loved that total WTF moment when the stalker was revealed!

LETHAL JUSTICE: Frida and Malco
We met Frida earlier in the series and now she get to have a HEA. What she doesn't realise is that she and Malco have a closer connection than they first thought, one that could blow them apart before they catch the crooked cops and drug dealers. Strong-willed lawyer and stubborn former Agent - talk about clashing personalities. But these two work and I absolutely adored their ending!

Alliance Agency Box Set Volume One is like a holiday present from India Kells and Maddie Wade who have put the first 4 books of the Alliance Agency series out at the same time! I love it when two of my beloved writers decide to collaborate and when they decide to grace us with the box set, what else can the girl wish for the holidays! Be prepared for an overload of alpha males and intriguing heroines that know their mind and will just not fall at their feet!
KNIGHT WATCH gives us Kingsley Knight, a former UK Special Forces bomb tech and Sydney Rutherford who has demons from her past. She needs to confront her past and put her fledging trust into the Brit who saved her. They need to resolve the mystery; otherwise Sydney will never be safe!
HIDDEN OBSESSION gives us Cleo Darwin who runs the Agency Office in Miami and Mason Bentley, an operative protecting the rich and famous. Finally Mason meets a woman that makes him lose his iron control and he needs to figure out who is stalking Cleo as we all know what would happen if he does not!
LETHAL JUSTICE gives us Malco and Frida who both have come a long way from the world of gangs and violence of their youth in the poorest part of Miami. Add to the mix the corruption that has reached the highest levels so at the end of the day there is no one else that they can trust than each other. Will they come out together at the other end and root out the dirty ones?
INNOCENT TARGET gives us James Valentine, a former Air Force pilot, and Mercy Broussard, a former cop and aerobatic stuntwoman. They have insane chemistry but Mercy has decided the James aka Romeo is not for her but throw into the mix a baby and one will find out what a real man is made out of!

The Alliance Agency books are awesome, and each one becomes my new favorite. Maddie Wade and India Kells have come up with winning combination. This box set has the first 4 books, and you don’t want to miss it. Knight’s Watch was the first book in the series. A new security agency gets its first case. Sparks fly between the rescuer and the woman in danger. Will the team solve the case in time? This story was a suspenseful tale with lovable characters. I cannot wait to see where the story goes from here.
Hidden Obsession kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not put it down! I seriously love this series. It is an awesome mixture of suspense and warm fuzzy love stories. You will love Cleo, Mason, and the rest of the Alliance Agency. As Lethal Justice proves, each book is a fast-paced, thrilling story that has you turning pages and wanting more. There is also a beautiful love story and compelling friendship among the team. You are going to adore Malco and Frieda. They are a powerhouse couple on a mission for justice. Their story is steamy and intense. This is a personal fight for both of them based in their pasts, and their song personalities mesh well. I can’t wait for more books! I loved Lethal Justice! Deadly Alliance was a great story. I did not storyline see this coming for Emme, but I really enjoyed it. This was an emotional love story, but it all works out in the end. I loves good suspenseful plot. This was definitely a page turner, and It’s a great setup for the Alliance Agency series. The characters are very likable, and I can’t wait to read more. I can’t wait for more books in this series.

Deadly alliance.

This story is a crossover from Fortis and Purgatory. Both alliances combined working together is exceptional. This is about Shane and Emme. Shane’s little sister’s friend has been murdered and he is stepping in. What happens next is one rollercoaster of events. I am thrilled I can’t wait to read more

Knight Watch

This is the first book of this new series. I really enjoyed it. It is a co-writing between Maddie Wade and India Kells. Alpha men and kick-ass women are making this first book a warm bath. The dynamic of this group is funny, loving, caring, protecting and strong. They all have each other’s back. The characters are wonderful it is easy to read the sparks are flying around between Sidney and Kingsley. Great start of a new series. I recommend this book.

A great beginning to this series!

This was a fantastic collection of stories, and a great beginning of this series. With terrific characters, humor, drama, angst, mystery, suspense, and intriguing twists, it's certainly not a series that you'll want to miss.
If you're interested in how Alliance Agency came to be, as well as how Shane and Emme's beginning, how one of their current operators was involved then and now, then I would highly recommend that you read the Fortis Security series. It's a fantastic series that you'll love, and definitely won't be disappointed!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding authors.

I can't wait for more stories in this series!
