This holiday season, Aisling Smith has everything she ever wanted. She knows what age she is this birthday, she has her parents to celebrate the Winter Solstice and Christmas with and – oh yeah – she’s marrying the love of her life. But this is Riddler’s Edge, and if Aisling’s learned anything since moving here, it’s that no celebration is ever complete without a murder …
Or two …
The murder victims are integral to Aisling’s wedding – like her DJ, for starters. Is someone trying to stop the wedding, or are they trying to send a message? Either way, Aisling and Dylan need to find out, and soon. Otherwise, the wedding might not happen at all.
A.A. Albright lives in the Irish countryside with her husband.
She loves reading in every genre, but writing cozy mysteries is just about the most fun she's had in a decade.

I’m not sure if this is the final Riddler’s Edge story or not. It feels like everything has wrapped up nicely, but at the same time, there are doors open for more possible stories in the future. Either way, I enjoyed this story.
The format was a bit different than the previous books because it almost felt like a clip show featuring characters from all of the mysteries in the previous novels. I found that to be a really fun idea!
The mystery itself in this book was a good one that kept me guessing. There’s a resolution to it all that I don’t want to delve into too deeply because it would MASSIVELY spoil everything. But holy moly did I ever love it. LOVE LOVE LOVED it.
The only negative going against this was there were a few parts that could have been edited a bit better. Like wrong names being used or incorrect words. But even still, it doesn’t take away anything from the story.
It seems that Ash is finally getting her happily ever after just with a few complications. This book in the series is especially heartwarming. It's nice seeing Ash settled and more confident. The cast always adds lots of humor and interesting dialogue. Loved It!!!
A satisfying winter solstice story about Aisling and Dylan's fast-approaching solstice wedding and the many obstacles, including murder of course, that conspire to try to prevent the big day.
I still feel as if book 7 was intended to be the last book in this series. It had a happy ending with all the loose ends tied up. I felt as if I should have ended the series on that book. Then I got curious about this book and decided to read it. I should have stuck with my initial instinct. This book detracted a little from my enjoyment of the series after finishing book 7. I didn't read books 8 or 9, they didn't seem all that interesting.
Overall, I liked this book.
There were some errors though. In one example, Aisling was talking to Hilda and suddenly her name was Norma. After that, I started noticing more errors.
The mystery didn't really make any sense, who the bad guy was felt rather random. Loved the story of the protective manor though. That was kind of sweet in a weird way.
It was nice seeing Aisling and Dylan married. It bothers me that the author never addressed the fact that Aisling will long outlive Dylan who can't be turned into a vampire. I was hoping for some sort of fae magic at the end or the wishing coin to remedy this. I felt let down that it didn't happen.
It's clear that the author (or their publisher) convinced them to continue with this series because there are loose ends. Why didn't Aisling use the wishing coin? Why did Dylan only wish for a little bit of peace? Clearly, the author decided to leave things a little open ended for the future. I feel that was a bad idea and book 7 really should have been the end.
I don't have the same happy feeling I did when I finished reading book 7. The writing felt a little sloppier and haphazard. Perhaps the author should have stuck to their guns and finished the series at book 7. It seems to have suffered for the change. Therefore, it's a 4 star rating for me.
5⭐ I can't find the right words to describe how much I loved this series. I'm more than obsessed. This series is just the perfect cozy mystery series for me. I'll definitely read more (ok, every) book by this author as soon as possible 🤩
This is the perfect ending for Aisling. And even though I felt a bit sorry that the wedding was under such bad circumstances. But on the other hand, it wouldn't have fit for her life, she just needed to have some ☠️ and had to solve them 😎
I wish I could find this kind of book as 🌶️ romance. It's so difficult for me to find the right romantasy books. I know they exist, and I'll find them someday. Till then, I'm happily reading A.A. Albright's books 😁
What a delightfully surprising story! Friends that aren't, foes that aren't... Is anything as it seems? Ash's and Dylan's big day is in jeopardy, and that's not even the biggest thing in this well-contrived mystery. The core characters are delightful and make returning to Riddler's Edge a real treat.
What will happen to keep Aisling from the perfect wedding? A murder, of course. All of her friends help her figure out what's going wrong and how to fix things after they find out who's doing the murdering.
I enjoyed the 10 book series with interesting characters and lots of character development throughout the books. Different, varied plots in each book also made it enjoyable.
The Riddler's Edge Mystery as the title suggests ends with Ash's marriage to Dylan. This is Riddler's edge so things never go according to plan. An enchanting and entertaining read.
