Odin As the Sergeant at Arms at the National Chapter of The Sons of Odin, I thought I was happy. Did what was needed. Loyal to my brothers. Devoted Husband and father. What more could you ask for? Except the voice that kept saying, you are in charge in almost all parts of your life but one. I need a change. I need to run my own chapter. So, when my best friend needs a new start, I decide my whole family deserves one too. Thor As the Enforcer to the National Chapter of The Sons of Odin, I was in my prime. Have an amazing bike, loyal to my brothers. Best friends with the SAA. What more can I ask for? Then I received a phone call that would change my life. The events that took place after that call made me a different person. Being at the national chapter was not where I wanted to be. My best friend wants a new change as well. Do you think the national president will let us go?
Good introduction to a new series. The first release by a new author that sets the stage for what promises to be a series with characters who will take up residence in our imagination. MC books are my guilty obsession, and I can’t wait to see where the author takes us as this new Chapter makes its mark. I’m thinking the local women won’t know what hit them as these dominant, take-charge men roll in and take control.
Make sure to read the author’s notes as it will provide a basis for the storyline and help avoid any confusion.
For this to be a prequel it sure does leave you begging for more. An instant love and connections to the characters. When Thor gets a call that changes his life in that moment he is put to the test to see if he will do anything to protect his family. Will Odin and his fellow brothers of the MC stand behind him and make sure nothing happens to one of their own? I highly recommend this read and can't wait to see what is next in store for all of them. Deserves way more than 5 stars!!!!
This is Author Z. Raven’s first book and it was amazing!! Odin is the Sergeant at Arms at the National Chapter of The Sons of Odin. Thor is the Enforcer of the same chapter. Both men have a lot going on in their lives but, when Thor receives a life altering phone call, he will do whatever it takes to protect himself and his family. Odin and the rest of the brothers will do whatever it takes to make sure no one messes with one of their own. This prequel will have you on the edge of your seat until the last page! I can’t wait to read what happens next!!
This debut by Z Raven was the perfect prequel. After receiving a call that will change his life, Thor is willing to do whatever it takes to take care of and protect his family. But what does that mean for his role as enforcer to the National Chapter of The Sons Of Odin? I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next for these characters and can't wait for the next book. A great read.
This is a hard book to rate - but at NO time did I consider a 1 or 2 star rating - for a debut and prequel book it was good. Yes, there are some grammar errors but they were minimal and that is expected in a debut book. As far as it being a prequel the story does give you an interesting insight into how the series will go, the different characters and some of their issues, but the start of the story is very confusing and hard to follow. The names of the characters were a mess and it takes you almost until the end of the book to figure out who some are. One is called Fen, Fen then a few sentences later Soren and then Fenrir. Another confusing one was Odin walked in to talk to Odin. The book would have been so much better if the readers were introduced with the characters first and last names and street name/ nickname in parenthesis. - since so many different characters are involved in the story. There is an authors note - but in this case it didn't help.
This is an MC book with a touch of Mafia/Cartel in it.
Would I recommend this book: Yes Would I read another book in this series: Yes
Ok so all chapter presidents are named Odin. Fine whatever The National Odin is into trafficking women and everyone is ok with it He whips a club whore and nobody blinks and states no one but he and the VP can use her for 3 years and she’s not allowed to use a chair. WTF
The new chapter president Odin who use to be some other name wants the new club to be legitimate but they will still run guns and get women over 18 and virgins for national every 6 months so that means they are trafficking women also
And apparently one of the members is a Dom and his wife is his sub but maybe the daughter is also

Sergeant At Arms Odin wants out of the National Chapter of the Sons of Odin MC. Their enforcer wants the same. This story tells of how Odin wants to take his chapter in a new direction for the sake of his men and their growing families. This is a great start for this new and exciting series! Looking forward to the next book!
Great start for a debut release. Z. Raven gets you acquainted with the members of Sons of Oden MC. You'll learn what its like to live the life in a MC and and what it takes to protect your family. Looking forward to seeing more from this author.
What a superb read by Z. Raven! When Thor's mother dies while unexpectedly giving birth his does his best to take his new sister to a safe house and raise her with the help of his new MC chapter. Great storyline easy reading.
This wasn’t a bad start and I like the names of the characters but it was a little all over the place with certain situations. Need more backstory for some of them. I look, forward to seeing how this MC is in future books.
DNF@25%. The writing was very choppy and hard to follow. I was confused by the names even though the author did warn that the names would be different going forward into the series. I just couldn’t continue with this book, sorry.
This is the authors first book and she did a awesome job. This is a prequel that introduces you to the characters and it left you wanting more. I look forward to the next book in the series.
This is a really good introduction to this new series. It's quick, fast paced and to the point. Overall it helps to layout the storyline and direction that this series will be going.
I found the names/titles confusing and hard to follow. This distracted from the read. I found the language stilted and very formal for an MC. I did enjoy the storyline.
