Do you have a chronic illness? Do you feel lost? Do you feel alone in your struggles? The author reflects on a time in his life when he was at rock bottom. He was scared and felt like he’d lost everything. Depression set in and hope was nowhere to be found. After the diagnosis of a chronic illness (panhypopituitarism), accepting his life as it was and not as it had been seemed impossible. Maybe you’re in that same hopeless place. But do you have to be? What if you took a long look in the mirror and decided WHAT you want from your life? It is your life; your story! Become DESPERATE for change and take back control. Hope is not lost. You are not alone. Pick yourself up, make a plan, and write a beautiful, successful life story. It is time to be DESPERATE for change.
Very impactful and well done. It was not preachy or out of touch. It is the perspective of someone who has been through adversity and his path to overcome it. He writes in a way that really makes you feel like he is cheering you on and in your corner, wanting you to succeed. Very genuine and well done.
I can relate most of them excluding anxiety and depression. Thank you for writing this book and motivating others as well. I’m gonna work on my dreams and plan to achieve it.
