For whatever reason I couldn’t find this book listed in this app in its English version. So, no, I didn’t read this in Spanish. lol. However, this book is a must read for anyone who has interest in medical history and research! Not only does it show us the behind the scenes info on HeLa cells and what all science has gained from studying them, but it also vividly paints a picture of the human behind those cells and the family she left behind. Absolutely a fascinating read the whole way through. Bless this author for telling this story in this way.
