Blond hair, a chiseled body, and ice blue eyes. All the features of a god that trick you into thinking he’s a savior.
But he’s not. Roch’s a devil in disguise. A contract killer, in a motorcycle gang, and the man I’ve been in love with since I was eight.
Now that I’m legal, I’m not waiting any longer for him to realize it. So I act out, I cause a scene, I try to make him jealous. Except, I trusted the wrong person.
Now Roch and his club are in danger, and it’s all my fault.
I really messed up this time.
Roch:
Truly thinks I don’t notice how she’s suddenly everywhere now that she’s an adult. Getting into trouble, showing me what a brat she is, and making me come rescue her.
But she’s my best friend’s daughter. My dead best friend’s daughter.
No matter how she taunts me, it can’t happen. The Royal Bastards are my brothers and my dogs are my world. There’s no room for complications.
When one of her tantrums brings trouble to my door, it’s not just her life at stake, it’s my entire club’s. Now she has my full attention, and I’m realizing Truly owned my black heart the entire time.

Misty Walker blew this book out of the water. If I could give more than five stars I would. It's full of angst, suspense, and steam. I felt so many emotions, in the beginning, I was crying then I was on edge biting my nails at what was going to happen. So many predictions, so many times I was wrong, except one.
We first meet Roch in Birdie’s biker and knew there was a dark story there. Be prepared, it's not pretty. I absolutely love him. Ex-military with a dark history that hasn’t seen the light until he meets Truly. He is a complicated man, grumpy, and fights his demons daily.
Truly is Roch light, Roch’s dead best friend's daughter. I felt very connected to her and felt all her pain. She loves something fierce, naive, and mature for her age she is also brave but almost too sweet.
Truly’s Biker is a medium gray to dark gray on my dark scale. What I liked about some of the dark parts is, Misty excelled in it. It's in detail, she didn't gloss over It, and was well written. Usually, when the part of the book gets to the revenge I never cringe at it, I am always cheering them on. There is one scene I actually cringed. For that alone, she gets extra points. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
Another great entry to the series. I loved Roch & Truly. They were so sweet together. Their history and how their relationship grew and changed was excellent. I loved Roch's soft spots for pups and his devotion to Truly. I loved seeing him come to terms with his changing feelings for her and I thought they were quite spicy and sexy together too.
This author has a simple and direct way of telling her romances. She gets right to the point and there isn't a lot of wasted words or scenes. I think that is down to her great storytelling gift and a good editor. I loved it.
There were a few things that were almost glaringly obvious and I was slapping my pam to my head, but that's just how the cookie crumbles. I loved this even more than the first and I can't wait to read the next.
The heroine is Too Stupid To Live. Literally, what happens to her is no once fault but her own.
I HATE surprise baby tropes, and this just fucking threw it in there at the end. And the two main characters are acting like there is no other option, and now they are having a baby! Even though neither of them really wanted a baby. Why write about how the heroine being willy-nilly with, ‘I don’t want a baby cause I need to still do school, and I’m 19 and not mentally prepared,’—suddenly to pregnant and just goes, ‘lol that’s just life and you have to deal! And I guess having a baby wont be soooo bad’....LIKE NO THERE IS ANOTHER OPTION!!!
I hate when authors do this, cause it’s clear which side of politics they stand on, and if it’s not the heroine who’s being used as the pregnant trope, it’s the hero who had an ex that was pregnant, possibly didn’t tell him, got the abortion, and therefore is seen as a TERRIBLE person for not wanting to be a mom. And let’s not forget, she’s also terrible cause she took the dad option away from the hero. Abortion in romance books either does not exist or is used to vilify women. Fuck this, it was going to get 2 stars but it’s getting only 1 now.

I freaking LOVED this book! These characters. These bikers!!!! These bad/good boys make me feel spectacular. Roch, oh man that boy dont even need words for him to be one of my favorite bad boys. And I loved Truly so much. The way she fought for Will/Roch til the end, I loved their love! Their happy family. I just love this entire crew! And that ending!!!! Ahhhh it was beautiful...THEN as I was hoping and praying to read something about Khan, we get a sneak peek into him and Bexleys story!!! AHH I am so excited! I also cannot WAIT for Dragon by K Webster. That man....he is DELICIOUS but knowing a certain bad character in this book will be in that one makes me even happier. 5 stars!!!!!! Come on October I am ready for Bexleys Biker!
I love Misty Walker so much I went back and reread Birdie’s Biker for this tour! This book was the perfect storm for me as a reader. I can never read too many mc romances, age-gap is my crack and Misty Walker wrote it. I mean … amirite?!
Since this is the second book in the series, we’ve already met Will and know just enough about him to get us salivating for his book. That’s the way it was for me and his story did not disappoint! Will has not had it easy. Life has not been his BFF. He’s holding a whole lot of remorse for circumstances in his past and it is heartbreaking.
Truly was the perfect young person, in my opinion. I really liked the choices that Misty made with her personality. They fit her not just because of her age but also because of her upbringing and circumstance. There may be times when she comes across as childish or maybe immature, but those times are few and they actually fit perfectly.
Truly has been Will’s saving grace since he could remember. Will couldn’t save her father so he’ll be damned if he won’t burn down the world to save Truly. That’s their story in a nutshell with exceptional chemistry, winding twist and turns and a whole heap of hope.
My favorite part of a Misty story is how real they are. She is always respectful of the subject and never hides the dark edges of life and or society. Her characters may not always be relatable to everyone reading, but they most definitely are realistic. She writes the good, the bad and everything in between of life and people. If you’re not reading her words …. *side-eye*
Obviously I highly recommend this book so go do the thing now, k.
Loved Roch, couldn’t stand Truly. I’m truly sorry :)
In comparison to book one this was a let down. Loved the disability rep here but God Trulys being naive was unbearable like honestly I could not stand her.
Hot damn. This book was dark, and sweet, and brutal, and emotional. It was everything.
“She’s got her head in the clouds, and I have mine rooted in dark reality. I’d never tell her that, though. I like her floating above me.”
Falling in love at eight years old to her late father’s brother in combat, Truly knew Roch was hers the moment he rode his bike in their lives and never stopped.
Roch. He’s gone through hell and back. Things that we as readers probably don’t know much about nor want to explore the details when our men in uniform go MIA and captured by the enemy. “When you’ve been violated in every way possible, human contact becomes something that makes your skin crawl. But ever since she was a little girl, holding my hand and dragging me all over the place, Truly has been the exception.”
We meet Roch in book one. He’s known for being a recluse. Man of very few words, and rescues dogs. In book two, we realize these dogs are coming from Truly and her mother who own a Veterinarian Office and somehow got Roch to rescue the unwanted Pit Bulls and a tiny Chihuahua, Karen. The Queen of the pack.
Roch always checked up on Truly throughout her life growing up. When her mom didn’t know where she was, she called Roch and he dropped everything he was doing to find her and being her home.
Truly is now 19. Truly is no longer hiding her feelings for Roch anymore. Truly befriends his club brothers and weasels her way into everyone’s hearts.
Roch has such conflicted feelings and emotions. This is his dead best friends daughter. He couldn’t save him and he can’t have her involved in his life and risk it too. But hey, this is a love story and Truly and Roch?! They’re fucking fated. “I’m going to say one thing and one thing only,” she starts. “I love you, William Pellman. I loved you as a dumb kid with a crush, I loved you as an angsty teenager with a fantasy, and I love you as a woman with a dream of being your forever.”
This is a love story of a man who deserves so much love. And this book got me teary eyed a few times because you can’t help but root for this couple despite the “tabooness” of it all.
Of course, the drama from book one bleeds into book two and in true fashion, this book has all the drama, some backstabbing, blood, and torture. It’s awesome.
“I need to feel my hands around someone’s throat and squeeze until their eyes bulge. I need to slice a million cuts into someone and watch them bleed out. I need to take out all the shit on someone who doesn’t deserve to live on this earth any longer.”
This book has an HEA with an epilogue that shows you more of who’s book will be the next one! I cannot wait!!
Plot Summary : Will has never had an easy life. Back when he was young , a certain accident that caused his friend to die and him to be taken hostage , destroyed everything he ever thought about his life. That is until he met His friend’s daughter. Truly was a ray of sunshine in his dark world. He couldn’t stand to be touched and she was the only one who gave him the solace of touching him would hurt him. Things were easy until they were not. Now truly is all grown up and no longer the little girl he used to protect. And this time , convincing himself of that fact would be a tougher job than he originally thought.
Truly has always loved Will. But he never saw her as anything more than his best frien;ds daughter. But now she has had enough, It is time for us to show him how much she really loves him and to finally have him all for herself. What she didn't expect was to mess up this badly. Now she has put the whale club in danger and there is nothing she can do but to ask help from the man who would never love her in return.
Overall Opinion : I am a huge fan of Biker romances! This one was an age gap romance full of thrill and wonder and I liked it a lot. Will and Truly were amazing and I was hooked from the first chapter. Will was a lonely soul who had suffered a lot and I just wanted him to get his happy ending so bad! Now there were also some parts of the book where I wanted to stop reading , because I just couldn't connect to the characters. Truly was a bit too childish for me and there were a lot of instances when she was acting like a brat and not like the grown up she claimed herself to be. Other than that , this book was good and it was an enjoyable one time read for me. I would recommend this one to all the Biker romance lovers who would also love a bit of age gap and taboo in their books!
This was an enjoyable read! Overall the characters were a lot of fun some serious and some dark and some playful. I have to say we loved Roch from the moment we met him and his soft spot for animals to cinched the deal for us. Roch was also a complicated man and war does that to a man but, from the moment he met a little girl named Truly and her mother, there wasn't always just darkness that surrounded his heart.
Truly was one of those good girls who made choices that weren't so good at all but, they did keep that sexy biker of hers in that path of hers hoping one day soon he would see something other than a little girl who had been part of her and her mother's life for more than 11 years.
The story had tons of drama and a ton of emotion as the club can't seem to cut a break. On top of everything Roch and Truly have this push-pull thing going on between them. Although there was major chemistry between Truly and Roch and that whole age gap thing going on it was never really a deal-breaker for him Roch really was more worried about the darkness of his life tainting all her goodness. Their spark and chemistry would not be denied and the heart wants what the heart wants and damned the consequences. The story had tons of hot and sexy scenes.
Overall we really enjoyed the book Roch made it really easy to fall in love with him with his soft spot for animals and that damaged part of him had us hoping that someone would come along and love him and all the broken pieces that came with him. Truly mentioned an instant connection with Roch from the moment that met, and I think that her father played a very big part in seeing his little child taken care of. Fate perhaps or destiny? My only complaint would be that the story was too predictable but, the character themselves made the story worthwhile, and it did have a few surprises along the way that made you smile.
Looking forward to the next book in this ongoing series with another sexy biker who has met his match with one sexy lawyer named Bex!
Will aka Roch is the pet loving, sergeant-at-arms for the Royal Bastards MC who barely speaks. He is dedicated to his dogs and MC brothers but Truly might make him face a bigger dilemma...His feelings. Ugh, I was hooked after that prologue! He hasn’t had an easy life but one young and feisty lady might be the key to Roch opening up to more than just his rescue animals. If you have read Birdie’s Biker then you have met Roch before. Get ready for this age gap, slow burn, biker romance with action and real issues full of emotions. Told in dual POV

3.5 rounded up. Mainly bc I love Rich/ Will. After everything the man has been thru…
It helps that he’s celibate (can’t stand any more man whore bikers). Big, quiet, strong, with a twisted PTSD (given how he kills his victims, esp. the last one).
Probably won’t read more by this author tho. This book kept me engaged bc I like the premise and the tropes. Change the story, give me an MC who fucks every biker babe that comes around before settling with the heroine?
*I received a copy of the book as a gift in exchange for my honest opinion.
Well well well....who's this author? And why is this honestly the first time I'm reading her? Where have I been?!!!!!!!
I feel like I have to start off by mentioning that I love me some MC reads. So of course when I had the opportunity to pick this up, it was a no brainer. Did I find it a tad bit predictable? Sure, but it was the process that kept me engaged enough to keep reading. So let's continue...
Triggers: There ARE triggers in this, so please be careful.
Roch, aka Will, is a very lost soul. After years in foster care, serving in the Army, being a POW and not saving his best friend, I personally don't blame him. All he needed to do was deliver his best friends letter to his wife and he could move on...or at least that was the plan. Little did he know that his besties family would end up being his lifeline.
Truly is quite possibly the most innocent character I've read in an MC genre. She's been home schooled her entire life and because of that fact is socially and personally naive. But she claims and owns that fact which is the only reason why it worked for me. I mean, imagine meeting the man of your dreams at the age of 8. Yep, you heard me. It sounds REALLY BAD, I know. But if you keep an open mind and just follow the outline and circumstances in the book...it works.
This isn't just a "love story" between Roch and Truly. Obviously, there are demons that need to be dealt with from the past, but the present has a few demons as well. This is NOT a fufu MC. They do bad things and it's graphic at times. And no matter how naive Truly can be, it's her love that conquers all.
Roch is a man who will look after you even while he fights some personal demons. Truly is at the point in her young life that she wants to be seen as an adult instead of a little girl. It’s then that her rose-colored glasses get ripped off and there’s no way to put them back on again. The author made me smile when it came to a plug for animal adoption.
Roch gives us a slight glimpse into his personal life but Truly shows us a different side. She’s a little more forthcoming of her life than of his. They let the reader feel as if they are a part of what is going on with this MC and the people in it. You will get to see both the good and the bad. Even though you know the book is a work of fiction, the author paints a very realistic picture as to how these men handle problems.
The emotions that can be found within this book’s pages are all over the place – in a good way. It’s something else that adds realism to a story where you’re not sure of what’s going to happen around the next corner. She also writes a story where there’s an age gap between our main characters. The way it was written, I didn’t feel that we had a little girl thinking she was in love with someone that was so much older than her. She is a young woman who has some different life experiences and knows what she wants. It’s a story that certainly spoke to my heart. And what did it leave me with? It left me with a want for more.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Again Misty won my heart. With his second book in the Royal Bastard series.
Truly's Biker, is much more than a story of age difference or even a man full of baggage and a spoiled girl. This story tends to speak more with heart than just words. Will (Roch), is a man of few words who carries a past full of lurking demons, who constantly struggle to leave freely after an incident that caused a great loss and a weight of guilt to carry, more than what he did not. imagined was to meet the talking girl Truly's, at just a young age had such a big mouth. Trapped to this young woman and her mother by ties that are more than blood, he was willing to protect them at all costs even if that after years and new choices for her life made him uncomfortable with his brothers at the club. Truly's on the other hand grew up and never forgot the big, sad man who knocked on her door, making her love for him even more when she reached nineteen. Willing to get Roch's attention, she did everything she could to be in her arms even if in a way she totally wanted. But what she and Roch didn't even imagine was that fate had a different way of approaching them even if someone got hurt on the way. Given the moment Truly's saw the opportunity to get closer to his love, even though he didn't approve. In view of this, both find themselves trapped by what they have been fighting for, he to keep her away from her world and her for wanting in her life.
A book with bloody, violent, moving and hot adventure, that talks about emotions in everything. With two characters of different ages who think the same, and no matter what he did, he could never stop loving and protecting her. And as naive as she was, she could never stop loving him and feeling protected. A family connection that made taboo very hot.
I loved every book I’ve read by this author, and this one wasn’t an exception. She writes about the best characters ever, and has a way of making them feel real. It’s one of my favourite things in a book, being able to form a connection with the characters. Roch is just the most wonderful man ever, he’s quiet but complex, harsh on the outside but soft on the inside, specially when it comes to Trully. His social awkwardness was endearing, and seeing this big, though and damaged man discovering how to interact and comfort another person was one of the most heartwarming things I’ve ever read. He’s so fucking special. Precious even. He acts apathetically and emotionally unavailable, but inside he’s bursting with emotions, he just doesn’t know how to show them and gave up on trying after being hurt all of his life. It’s so fucking sad how this amazing man with a scared soul has been treated by others. But now he has a family, he has people that love him and understand him. He doesn’t need to be someone he isn’t, and he can have his guard down because he knows those guys have his back no matter what. That’s what makes a family, not blood, but loyalty and unconditional love. I loved Roch and Trully’s story, and I know Khan and Bex are next, but I’m really curious about the dynamics between Moto and Sly, and I hope this author writes about them 🖤
Roch was everything and more. I loved his quite demeanor and that he didn’t really change in the book. He stayed true to who he was from start to finish. Now, when I say that I don’t mean that his character didn’t develop because he did; but at at the same time all his quarks stayed the same and I love that.
Truly..... bomb name by the way! I liked her. She was a little nieve at times but that’s because her mom kinda sheltered her in a way and it was just the way she was. It didn’t make her bad and helped the story a lot. I love what she was for Roch. She was her perfect match in all ways.
I was hooked from the minute I started this book. The character interaction of a always my favorite parts and the author, like always, rocked that. The plot was really good too. A few parts kept me guessing and I was shocked a few times too. I can’t wait to see what’s going to come with this series. The waits going to be hard but totally worth it. 5 stars #2OCCJD
Roch still lives with the guilt and regrets of what transpired during his military career even though it was years earlier. The three constants in his life are his loyalty to the MC, his dogs and that he would do anything to protect Truly and her mother.
Truly has loved Roch since she was a child but because she has lived a sheltered life, she tends to act first and think second. She is determined to convince Roch that they are meant together but one action was all it took to not only get his attention but put him and everyone he cares about in jeopardy.
Roch is conflicted between honoring his friend and claiming the only woman who has touched his heart. Their journey takes us on an adventure complete with compelling characters, surprises and hot chemistry as Roch and Truly fight to save the club and each other.
This one hit some of my fave taboo check marks. Age gap? Check. Dad’s best friend? Check
We dive back into the Royal Bastards Reno MC world. I enjoyed getting to know more club members which definitely help in seeing the series expand for the Reno chapter.
I loved Roch, he was your typical bad boy with a chip on his shoulder but a darn teddy bear when you needed it. His darkness never outweighed his golden heart. Although he never thought himself worthy, to those around him, they knew better.
Truly is your typical nieve, sheltered damsel in distress heroine. Not my favorite whatsoever but she fit Roch’s demeanor so it made sense for this story.
Although I am excited to finally see a badass heroine in the next installment, hopefully. Fingers crossed.
This story was full of twists and turns, action packed, and hit the feels when needed. You can’t go wrong here.
A pretty good book. The older man younger woman type. Will or club known as Roch is a silent man who only speaks if he has to and most of the time it's just a one word answer. He lives in his head because of everything he went through from childhood to adult and especially his time in the military. It starts when he is kicked out of the military and has a letter to deliver to a woman who lost her husband and he tried to save him. Her little girl invited him into their lives and he has been there ever since even though he tries to hide them since he joined the MC. Truly fell for Will when they first met even though she was only 8 years old and him an adult. Growing up it was a crush but after high school it became more....at least for her. She does everything she can to get him to notice that she has grown up. Truly is in college to be a vet just like her mom. Between the guy at school and Roch she has a decision to make and one could be deadly.
Wow! This is an age gap MC Meet Cute at its best! I honestly couldn't think Misty could out do her first RBMC book, but yet here I am eating my words. Reno and this dirty love bikers are my EVERYTHING!
We met Roch in Birdie's Biker, and ever since then I really wanted to know more because he was so unique. A loner in the MC, doesn't speak much, dog lover/rescuer, and a natural protector. So when Truly's Biker was announced, I was so ready to get more of my man Roch! And boy was he the perfect mess, ex military, god like dream I could ever have! 😍🔥🖤 Perfectly damaged and worth it all!
And then we meet Truly . . . The daughter of the vet that took care of the wounded RBMC. Yeah, she was a little girl when she met Roch, but isn't that the perfect Meet Cute?!?! A little girl with a crush that turns to hard core love? Well it's a story and one I absolutely love . . . If its not your cup of tea then maybe this is not your book. . . But you could give it a try?!?!?
Anways . . . I find this to be a great yin-yang, push and pull, light and dark, good and bad kind of read. The perfect story of how 2 very different worlds collide and make it work! Yes there are twists and turns, dark and dirty parts, family drama, and the realization of love . . . Real, so not perfect, you make me want to be better, I need you with me all the time . . . Kind of love! Truly's Biker is an absolute must read! And I Can Not Wait for more of the Reno RBMC!
Absolutely loved this story! This author gives me the perfect blend of gritty action, sexual chemistry and just enough feels. Her MC books are fast becoming a favourite for me. Can’t wait for the next story.
I love a good MC story!! Truly and Roch are amazing. I wish Roch would have talked more. At least like learned to talk a little bit more. Overall I loved this book and the FMC and MMC. This series is amazing and so detailed. Loved this.
I expected more from this book. It's wild to me that the synopsis is actually just a brief thing that occurs in like one chapter toward the end of the book. I also expected there to be a bit more of a slow build in their relationship. But the guy took like almost no convincing. It was quick and easy to read, and scratched my itch for a trashy book that I get every so often, but it's still just not that good.
I’m a sucker for age gap romances and Truly’s Biker is no exception. It’s slightly dark but my favorite part is the feels. I really connected with this emotionally. The relationship Truly has with her mother had just as much an impact on the story as her relationship with Roch. Walker is fantastic at making you feel all the feels. I can’t wait for the next one!

If you are looking for an age gap MC book that you will like but not love or impact your reading experience… then this book might be for you.
A solid 3.5 stars for me. There’s nothing bad about this book, but there’s also nothing great about it. It was bit of a disappointment since I really liked the first book in the series.
I truly loved them together! i loved how their relationship was, how he was with her etc. The only reason i didn't give the last star is because i feel like there were holes in the plot meaning i wished to see him start talking with her later on about his past you know? even though we get to know a little of the things happened to him i wished he shared it with her. Also another thing i didn't like the epilogue, i wished was longer! it was an happy for now, i wished to know more about them,i wished to know and have at least 1 more chapter in their future with him being around the kid or to know if they will get married. Overall this was a great story! i enjoyed it. Hopefully we will know more about them in the next books with the other couples.
