Dark Angel Trilogy Dark Angel's Obsession ★ Dark Angel's Seduction★ Dark Angel's Surrender
Dark Angel's Obsession The cold and stoic warrior is an enigma even to those closest to him. His secrets are about to unravel…
Dark Angel's Seduction Brundar is fighting a losing battle. Calypso is slowly chipping away his icy armor from the outside, while his need for her is melting it from the inside. He can't allow it to happen. Calypso is a human with none of the Dormant indicators. There is no way he can keep her for more than a few weeks.
Dark Angel's Surrender The heart pounding conclusion to Brundar and Calypso's story.
I love these books and I'm glad there are so many of them.
The main characters in this story are Brundar and Callie. Callie tried to get into Brundar's club, but wasn't old enough. Her husband at the time threw a fit, and Brundar saw into Shawn's mind. He was not a good man for Callie. So, Brundar became obsessed and started watching her afraid that Shawn would eventually kill Callie. Brundar approaches her before it's too late and gives her an out.
I felt really bad for Callie in this story as she was so darn young and got saddled with an overbearing older man when she was nineteen because he got her pregnant. Then Brundar has his own issues with his past and he is emotionally unavailable for poor Callie, but keeps coming back even though he feels there is no hope for a future for them.
Callie gets put through a lot in this story, some due to bad decision making and to me it's believable because she is so young. Brundar better treat her well.
We also catch up with Tessa and Jackson. Dr. Bridget is getting frustrated all these people finding their mates... now she is next up, and yes I have this book cued up. These books are addicting. I like the format, the short chapters and the switching points of view.
I gave the stories a go...but I'm finding thru the series it seems all POVs are so slanted to male perspective even when its supposed to be female. I told myself if one more female character popped up with limited to no sexual partners I would be done...then in comes Callie. Who apparently is strong minded enough to capture the attention of one of the toughest guardians... But not strong enough to not get married to a man she thinks got her pregnant on purpose. Seriously can't make myself keep reading. DNF. Big strong men 'saving' or coming to the rescue of sexually frustrated women seems to be the overall theme. I gave it a chance but can't keep on.
We met Callie at Brundars club he Co owns wen she visited with her then husband Shawn.
Brundar was intrigued by Callie but really didn't like Shawn he knew he wasn't a good person. But wanting to protect Callie he watched her from a far.
We read about the events that changed Brundar and Anadurs lives & the lives of the Clan. And I am apologising pleased Brundar got he's HEA. He deserves it. He might not think he does but I think I have a soft spot for our Elf looking immortal😉😘 Can't wait to go along on the next journey to see where it may lead us to next
The Dark Angel Trilogy was absolutely addictive! I could not put them down. I have read through book 16 of Children of the Gods and it is the best series so far. I love how the writer gives hints of the future and in the right time brings it all to light. Can't wait to read the next trilogy. Thanks for the great story behind the lives of the characters!!!
The series continues with Brundar's story. We know him as the intimidating and uptight guardian who is a deadly warrior and speaks with few words. He meets a couple at an adult club and his life is forever changed by his need to protect the woman, Calypso. The story lines of the other clan members continue as well.
I have read the series from Book One (Dark Stranger) through book 46! This is the best paranormal romance series I have ever read. Even better than the Shade series by B. Forrest! I read them all since the beginning of the summer till Oct 27 2021
Really enjoying these books, on series 17 can't stop reading them, so glad there are so many. Just as good if not better than the series i read last which was Afterlife .
Great story and how cool is it that Brundar gets his true love match? His story is heartbreaking but there is healing in this man's future and we've learned a bit more about what is required for transition. Every case adds more information.
Brundar is my favorite of them all so far and will be hard to top! I’m a sucker for the strong silent type and grabbed my heart when he told Anandar about cuddling his subs after sub space after care. Done hook line and sinker I loved him💜🔥🥰🥵
Amazing world building and a true definition of family! This series will suck you in and make you wonder... What if... What if the person at the next table could...
