Keith Buckley is the vocalist and lyricist for the critically acclaimed punk rock act Every Time I Die, which has sold hundreds of thousands of records worldwide and has amassed a substantial fan base while touring the globe for over a decade. He lives in Buffalo, NY.
Keith Buckley is one of the most beautiful poets and song writers, but many people wouldn’t know it. I wish each album had a book of his lyrics like this, because it reminds me how talented he is.
As a huge fan of the band and this particular album, this is both a cool book to own and a neat look into the process. It’s interesting to read the tracks in the order that they were written as opposed to the order they’re arranged on the album. I also like the idea of song lyrics as poetry, and this book reinforces that idea. The lyrics read differently without the rhythm and backtrack. Incredible as an album, and great as a book of poetry. If you’re reading this, listen to Every Time I Die, at least Low Teens (the album this book is based on).
