Can Agatha and Sophie find the perfect ending to their story in this epic conclusion to this bestselling series. Once best friends, Agatha and Sophie were pulled apart like strangers, each in the arms of a boy, Good with Good, Evil with Evil… is their friendship lost forever after…

But as they settle into their new lives, their story begs to be re-written, and this time, theirs isn’t the only one. With the girls apart, Evil has taken over and the villains of the past have come back to change their tales and turn the world of Good and Evil upside down.

With Evers being murdered and Nevers reigning supreme, the girls need to restore the balance, find the end to their story, and—hopefully—become friends again

The school for good and evil series is my absolute favorite. Soman makes it feel like you are actually there, when you open it up you are transported into a magical fairytale. He keeps you guessing, who is the true villian of the story?

they had a good balance because in the end, both good and evil did win, and that's good as it isn't good that books always lean towards the 'goody two shoes always prevails' concept, and then they just go on and on with it - but Chainani has crafted a beautiful story that lets both sides be more equal than they have ever been, because what is the point of having a variety of books if the concept that good always wins stays the same?

In the village of Gavaldon, every 4 years, on the eleventh night of the eleventh month, two children at the age of 12 and older are kidnapped by an unknown force into the surrounding Endless Woods
To Camelot the place where the school of good and evil was built, this is where everything for the two kids kidnapped goes wrong. The two kids kidnapped were Sophie and Agatha. Sophie is a beautiful girl who believes she will be a princess, and her “best friend” Agatha who is deemed a witch by the other townsfolk, but the fairies proved the townspeople wrong, Agatha was sent to the good school, and Sophie was sent to the evil school, they don’t understand why, but as we go along, they both fall in love with the same person, Tedros, the future king of Camelot, and the story revolves around how your appearance isn’t everything, however the pureness of your own heart matters the most in life, and if that fades, no matter how beautiful you are you will become ugly

This was a captivating book with scenes that could remind you of Hogwarts. I understand it is being made into a motion picture soon. I've only read book one and found it to be quite intriguing with plot twists and turns that whirled quickly. One thing that surprised me is the rating being young adult or 8 and up I believe. There is far too much blood and violence for young children. Quite a few spots had double entendres that the youngest won't pick up on so that is ok. There seems to be an under current of same gender romance but the author may have just been stressing deep friendship. I've not yet started the next one but the angst in the first one tells me to take a break before jumping back in.

DNF this series. I only read book 1-2 and that's it. I can't stand how boring and predictable the plot twists are. This series is for kids. Not my cup of tea. I'm sorry.

I read this when I was 12-16 and I was OBSESSED with the first book, it’s really great and fun!! The main characters are well thought out and engaging with a lot of thought put into them. it also ties up nicely. So nicely in fact I thought that it was a standalone book. When I found out two years later that it was a series I was thrilled!! And then I wished I had stayed ignorant. All of the books after the first one are bad, the characters never learn their lesson and everyone becomes insufferable. It took characters I genuinely really loved and made me dread ever having to read another word about them. As if the words were better. The writing style completely changes and makes it feel I’m rubbing gravel onto my eyeballs every time I read a word. If I didn’t know better I would have genuinely thought that the author died and someone else finished the series. By all means, read the first book!! But don’t make the same mistake I did, stop before reading the second. Save yourself!!!!

A brilliantly written series. SO worth the read. Soman knows how to write a story that engages. Lesser writers would’ve gotten caught up in world building details as the characters prepared for the war — and those details wouldn’t have mattered to anyone.

Instead, Soman always comes back to the source of the story, the relationship and connection at the heart of it. If their friendship decides the fate of the world, they need to trust each other. And therein lies the real story. Will they find hope and love in each other’s ever after? Will they learn to be honest with themselves? Will they learn compassion in lieu of selfishness? Or learn calm confidence in lieu of martyrdom?

I love this series so much, I can’t sing it’s praises enough.

PLEASE READ IT!!!
Thank you :)

I've read this series in full about... 6 times now i think, its been my favorite series for years and i had the opportunity to meet Soman Chainani! The characters are all relatable I feel that everyone can find a bit of themselves in some of the beautiful characters. Reading these books made it hard for me to move on from the series and start something new because I was so in love with these pages.

I only read the 2nd book but they won't let me enter just that book. I read some of the reviews saying how self absorbed Sophie is in the 2 nd book but that's what makes it so fun. You have to appreciate that trait in her. She does realize how much she leans on Aggie when Aggie is wishing for her prince instead of her best friend.

I could only rate the first book of this series. I find the concept interesting that some students are sent away and a precondition to think they belong to either good or evil. The main female leads aren't one to expect at first glance and their relationship and who they are challenges the status quo of The School of Good and Evil community.

I saw that this had been made into a film on Netflix and thought I would read the book(s) before watching the film. It was original and put a new twist on fairy tales and the relationship between the main protagonists was sweet. One for the kids when they are older but enough in there to convince me to try the other books in the series.

Très théâtral, sera intéressant transformé en film

Par contre devient presque caricatural par moment.

Je n'ai pas pu dépasser le premier livre, le ton du deuxième était trop fantasque dès le début.

i loved this series b/c though it wasn't necessarily a unique concept, it took a refreshing approach to it with the characterization and world-building :) a bit confusing and over-written in some parts, but an enjoyable series overall!

My first favourite long book series. This series transported me into a magical land and even though it is written to a target audience of 12-15 year olds, it is written in such a way that audiences of all ages can enjoy it.

Felt like I was reading the same conversations over and over again. I finished the first book, started the second book, and then promptly closed it and gave away the entire series as a gift. The conversations felt identical to the first book “we have to go home” over and over and over again.

I think it was a pretty good book overall, but I also think that Sophie and Agatha shouldn't have switched personalities because it seems unreal that they could change so fast

Personally, did not really get into the books. The plots were good, but not gripping. I am not a fan of the writing style but my friends were hooked on this series.
