We are so excited to debut our first ever printed devotional, Pray Like This: Christ’s Guide to Praying the Scriptures, written by Katie Noble. This 8-week study aims to mine the riches of The Lord’s Prayer one line at a time, drawing us nearer to the foot of the cross, while shaping the way we pray and commune with God. Each week includes space for reflection and an application sheet with guided prayers. We encourage and challenge you to push past any assumptions you hold about the Lord’s Prayer, and allow Jesus to open your eyes to new and beautiful riches in His Word. It took me almost a year to read this. I went through it in phases. If I had been more consistent with it, maybe it would have made a greater impact. The book is stunningly designed and I loved the inclusion of lyrics to old hymns. Some of the study questions were really thought provoking even though I disagreed slightly with the author’s interpretation of Scripture every once in a while. This is a very grace-filled approach to prayer that I appreciated.

Not fantastic, but not problematic. It would be good on its own for a light devotional. Each chapter left me with questions to carry into further study, so it was a good jumping off point for getting my brain focused on The Lord’s Prayer.
