"Good thing I made like a cat to get that dust out of my eyes!"
In a couple instances, CWC does this weird numbered list thing for the exchanges between characters. There's no real break between the comments so you end up reading the text incorrectly. this is intermixed with pages where entire paragraphs are to be read
There's a mini map for different locations, which is funny. Like The Cartoonist's whole exposure to art is video games, and makes everything into them by extension.
Our cartoonist doesn't know what tempered glass is. Seems to think it's unbreakable.... I guess someone said "it's tempered so it doesn't break" and that was taken to mean unbreakable instead of "not going to break by being heated and cooled"
The "It's finally my chance" response to a girl being interested in The Cartoonist reminded me of way too many people in Toastmasters. It's my time! Quick do the show time stuff...
"Chuck Paladuck" was said to be the Fight Club movie's director. So, not only is that not the author of the book's name, it's not even who directed the movie. These are made on a computer with internet, yet, that's not fact checked. (Please don't read me misattributing books to Alfie Kohn in my book).
Heartsweet makes a return. I guess this wasn't an accident in issue 0.
"You're that hedgehog!" was funny to me. Isn't sonic the most famous hedgehog? Why wouldn't Sonichu recognize him?
(For reference: CWC is referred to as The Cartoonist in the western tradition of the Apostle and the Philosopher).
