Jerrad Haines has been dreaming about killing his wife, Jackie, for a year. His fantasy is the only thing that gets him through each day of his broken marriage. But one day on his commute home, something happens that can make his dream a reality. Now he has to decide whether to act on it or let it go.
This was a great short story- only 12 pages but honestly was good and kept my attention. I liked that it was the POV of the male main character and his inner monologue, it made it more dread-inducing. Overall a quick awesome story for what it is.
This was a 3.5⭐️ read for me! I enjoyed it for it only being 12 pages. I thought I had the ending figured out, but I definitely did not, I was close, but not quite right lol. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you’re in a reading slump!
I was sure I knew where that was going. Turns out, I didn't. Gotta love a good twist. The story itself could've easily gotten 4 stars from me. However, the writing flow botched it a bit. Loved the concept and hope to see some refinement in future works from this clearly clever storyteller.
