The hero in this book angered me to no end.
Heroine is a shy, innocent virgin (as per usual🙄) within the first few weeks (I think) of meeting the hero, she sleeps with him. I’m normally like ‘okay, cool’ but.. her first time was with the hero at a party and they were both drunk out of their minds. Not very romantic in my opinion.
After sleeping with her, H freaks out because he doesn’t know how to be “romantic”. He wants to talk to the heroine before he leaves for his two week camp and when the heroine shows up, she sees him hugging another girl. In reality, the hero was so detached he didn’t realize someone was hugging him until it was too late.
When hero goes on his 2 week trip, the heroine endured so much. She’s pregnant from the ons with the hero and is being bullied, sexually and physically assaulted at school. She keeps texting the hero and the bitch doesn’t even answer her messages but he can text the whore he was hugging after sleeping with the heroine back!
Not romantic at all.
Anywayyy, hero comes back and beats up the guy who forcefully kissed the heroine. Then, not much later, the heroine is attending a ceremony and wanted to go find the hero to talk to him. When she finds him rushing into a room, she opens the door to find him kissing the whore he hugged!
Wow! So romantic!
The hero is regretful but doesn’t matter because the heroine takes him back after he apologizes. Apparently, he got a message about information and went to meet up with them when he realized it’s a trap and he was set up by the whore to ruin his relationship with the heroine.
He apologizes, she takes him back within a few mins and bam! Relationship goals🙄
He finds out she’s pregnant with his babies, they spend two days together and then she gets kidnapped and is missing for over half the book.
Like what? How are you doing to have romance when the heroine is missing half the book?
She’s found, they are so in love, she pops out another baby and there you have it, a romance book.
This book made me cringe so bad but at least I’m one step closer to my 2023 reading goal😂

Well, I once again skipped 10 chapters. I just knew that she was going to get kidnapped so I didn't bother and just went straight to the last 5 chapters.
I dont really like gangs or mafia books because they become so repetitive, the only reason i read this book was because it was similar to Lilah and I really enjoyed lilah so i wanted similar recs.
Overall, it was eh. The romance developed far too quick (like they kissed in the 4th chapter) but this book was really funny. And the male lead was really hot so thats a plus 🙂 Also she was in college and getting bullied, I find that so unbelievable because these people are like 20 to 22?? Like yall are adults and bullying a girl ✋😄
