Eireen, una ragazzina che vive in un orfanotrofio, è affascinata dalla magia che, in dicembre avvolge Morning Town, la sua città. Durante il periodo che precede il Natale, è ancora più facile abbandonarsi alla fantasia. Una sera, durante una passeggiata in centro, le appare fugacemente una misteriosa rosa blu che Eireen farà di tutto per ritrovare. La sua ricerca la porterà ad un incontro inaspettato.

Thea Bricci was born in the northern portion of Italy. When she was a child, she liked writing fables, short poems, and fun fiction about her favorite cartoons and films. She attended classical studies, and in her twenties, she realized she needed to express herself in writing, so after her degree in Italian literature, she also received a master’s degree in screenplay. During a journey in Venice, Florence, and Rome, she knew the great power of art, through the vision of artists like Botticelli, Caravaggio, and Canova. She takes often inspiration from works of art for her stories. She loves travelling but also staying at home wearing comfortable slippers and drinking tea. Her dream is writing a screenplay for a film based on the biography of her favorite painter, Gino Grimaldi.

Thea Bricci è nata in Oltrepo Pavese. Ha frequentato gli studi classici, per poi sentire il bisogno di esprimersi attraverso la scrittura di racconti, drammaturgie e sceneggiature. Durante i viaggi attraverso l'Italia, alla scoperta di città come Venezia, Firenze, Roma e Napoli ha potuto conoscere e comprendere il grande potere dell'arte che per lei è da sempre una grande fonte di ispirazione e di nutrimento intellettuale. Adora i gatti e ama camminare nella natura. Ama viaggiare, ma anche stare in pantofole e gustare vari tipi di tè. Il Principe Triste è il suo romanzo d'esordio. Il suo sogno è scrivere una sceneggiatura basata sulla vita del pittore Gino Grimaldi.

Dolce e fantasiosa favola natalizia. Una breve novella a tratti onirica, che con la sua magia si apprezza al meglio in questo periodo dell'anno.
