This was one of those amazing books that changed my life. This was my introduction to reincarnation and the possibility of having a past life- it also furtherd my interest in history. I've read this book countless times and hide my yellow paged, cracked spine copy. This is a book I will not loan out because it's hard to find. Apparently it was made into a BBC documentary in the 70's, but unfortunately I've not been able to see it.
This book is about reincarnation and a hypnotherapist that regressed people to some of their previous lives and taped the sessions. I'm not sure if I believe in reincarnation, although I do like the idea of reincarnation, so I may try to find some less sensational books about it at some point. Anyhow, the book was pretty interesting. One woman supposedly was regressed back to six of her previous lives, and the author did his best to try to find historical data to back up the woman's accounts of who she was and what she saw and places she went, etc. It was written in the mid-1970s, so I'm curious if anything additional has been written about these people.
