This Love Hit Different
Bryce Hardwick knows that he is every woman’s fantasy. It’s that cockiness that aptly titles him the playa of Inglewood. Having a past that groomed him to be the ladies’ man he has become, it didn’t prepare him for the real world… or love. After falling in love for the first time, he realized what it felt like to love someone who didn’t love you back. It caused him to tone his philandering ways down. It made him aware of all the hearts he’d broken in the past. Now that he had not only a son, but a little princess as well, he knew he needed to be a better example for them.
When Bryce sees Sheena, he immediately knows that he wants to be a respectable man and settle down. His career is in place and with the help of his friend, Solomon, he has his heart’s desires, materialistically. But as of late, especially after watching Solomon find love, he’s been craving that type of connection with someone. Although he realizes she’s much younger than he is, he knows that she’s the one that will complete him.
While Bryce does his best to prove to Sheena that she’s made the right decision by being with him, he knows that there are elements of his life that could threaten to ruin them. The demons surrounding him about his family, upbringing, and past ideologies would have to be revealed to Sheena. Not to mention, his two baby mamas aren’t the happiest with his new-found relationship. Will Bryce be able to navigate through life’s obstacles and maintain his new relationship with Sheena? Or will it all be too much for her to deal with?

Monica did the damn thing with writing this book from the male point of view it did hit differently. I fell in love with characters and their different backgrounds that made the book come together.

When men fall in love, they FALL!! This was such a good story. It was great to hear a love story told from the man’s perspective. This book had the right amount of drama and kept you waiting to see what would happen next. Sheena!!!! What a gem. She was such a beautiful soul and so patient, loving and understanding. I couldn’t get enough of her. And let’s not forget the real star of the story, Jasmine! She was the cutest and I loved reading about her. Apparently there is another book told from Sheena’s POV. I may read it down the line but for now Bryce’s POV was nicely developed.

Different is Good
Miss Monica! The collaborations you do with T. Key are 🔥. I especially like you telling the stories, from the male point of view. We (ok me) 😁 often believe that men are without feeling, and nothing bothers them. It is refreshing to see that men experience hurt, disappointments, and be vulnerable. Bryce's story was exceptional! With all that he had gone through in his childhood, and into adulthood, he could have been angry and bitter; but he was genuinely a good person. From the support he gave his friends, to the love he showed his children, and empathy for his children's mothers. Meeting and finding love with Sheena, was a beautiful sight! Her love transformed him into the great man he was meant to be. Being in love, gave him the will and strength to conquer his demons, and to repair his soul. You never disappoint, and this read had my feelings flooded with all types of emotions! Great work! 👍👍👍

LOVED IT
Well it looks like Mr Playboy Bryce has been hit with the love bug. This book was really good. I was so glad that the author decided to give him a story. Although he was an amazing father, it was time for Bryce to find that perfect woman to settle down with. And what better person to walk into his life but Ms Sheena herself. What I loved about Sheena was that she was independent with a sexy swag that drew Bryce completely in. She didn't have to do too much to attract him. Sheena was the calm and peace that Bryce needed especially when his world began to turn upside down. She didn't judge nor did she jump ship when things looked to be a bit rocky. To see Bryce's growth and change in mindset to relationships was great. There was no way you didn't want to root for him to finally experience true love that he clowned his boy Solomon about. You definitely felt the love and support between Bryce and Sheena with a beautiful happy ending and blessings to follow.

Now let me start with Bryce, he has given me a while new appreciation for the 40 plus club. He definitely held it down in the bedroom. He really turned out to be bae in spite of his past issues. His character was so real with the baby mama issues. He really stepped up and protected the love 💘💘 he had for Sheena. I am not surprised at the 180 turn Patrice took after her issue and Kamryn did not surprise me either. Typical😢😢!!!
Sheena was just too perfect and easy. I would have been pissed about the shower😡😡. I guess I need to hear from Sheena next.

We have Bryce and Sheena navigating their relationship together. We first saw them in Solomon and Divine’s books and now we finally get to know them. The journey with these two was awesome. I love how they love each other. Sheena’s acceptance and love for his two kids was everything. Bryce showed us that he was a great father who loved and took care of his kids. Bryce really grew during his relationship with Sheena. He forgave his mom, formed new relationships and became even more awesome than he was before. Sheena brings out the best in Bryce. Loved them together. Thanks for another great read, Ms. Monica. It’s always a pleasure visiting these worlds you create😜. I recommend this book 100%. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

This love sure did hit different. First, I have to say that I loved Bryce's style of parenting. When he took those games from Hunter and reiterated that his mama didn't run nothing in his house, I wanted to give him a high five. Bryce was a playboy that finally got it right. He had enough drama to run anyone off but Sheena stuck with him and loved him through it all. Even though Bryce made some bad judgement calls in his past, he didn't sugar coat it or downplay it, he manned up and owned up. Kamryn had a nerve--you don't miss your water till your well runs dry and I have no words for Patrice.

To see a true playboy discover his worth and pour all his love and energy into the right woman was beautiful. These two showed that once you find the person truly sanctioned for you that love, loyalty, respect, honesty, and passion would flow with ease and these two completely got it. They didn’t have to work at this love and their passion will fill every reader with joy.

When players fall in love it really hits different. Who would've thought bryce could have been tamed. The way he transformed into a better man was amazing. Talk about soul ties!!! The chemistry between Bryce and Sheena was off the wall. Sheena was his missing piece and more. I loved how this book had little to no drama yet showed many life lessons.

This books was everything to me from beginning to end and Bryce was not playing about kids and that’s what you call a stand up father!! And he loved sheena and the way she went the flow was good it was some parts I wanted to knock her out but she got it together!! And his baby mamas lord I was ready to charge .. but I hated what Patrice went through I wouldn’t want that for anyone to go through and lord kamryn like Girlllllll but I’m happy she made a great recovery. Overall amazing pen work as always!! Do it bay!! Monica you a real one!!

Bryce Hardwick is the truth! He came through healing hearts and speaking nothing but facts from day one. No matter what was going on with him, he always put Sheena's feelings first. He was took great care of home and his kids at all times, but didn't allow disrespect from anyone. He and Sheena healed each other's hearts in more ways than one. This was an amazing read and the sex scenes were fye!

I enjoyed this book. Finding love at any age can be difficult if you never experienced love as a child. Bryce and Sheena learned to love each other and take a chance no matter the obstacles. Sheena was a trooper dealing with Bryce and all his drama. Looking forward to reading about Gia hopefully.
SN: only four stars because I felt it was long winded at times and some scenes were too over exaggerated

Patrice needed to grow up and Kamryn waited to late to profess her love. Jasmine was a mess she loved the attention . Im glad Hunter formed his own opinion instead of keep listening to his mom .Bryce found his dad and started back speaking to his mom before she passed. I did love Bryce and Sheena chemistry.

This was an amazing story! The way Bryce loved Sheena was beautiful. He knew she was the one for him and she knew he was the one for her. I'm glad she accepted his kids. Despite Bryce not growing up with a family you wouldn't be able to tell with the way he raises his kids and loves Sheena. I'm glad he had that moment with his mom.

Bryce and Sheena were an example of change can happen when the person is motivated within themselves to do it. Patrice and Kamryn came in Bryces life at the wrong time and while I sympathized with both at different times in the story I was glad Bryce didn't fall for the okie doke and slip into his past ways. When the right person loves you it will always bring out the best version of yourself. Monica and T Key created another great read.

Ayeeee!!! This had to be one of my faves. Bryce had that ultimate grown man daddy swag. It was so refreshing to get a glimpse at his relationship with Jasmine. Super adorable. Sheena and Bryce are that couple that everybody loves. Super down-to-earth but so swaggy. Loved it sis!

Different was accurate
A playa isn't always a playa for life. Sometimes the right woman comes along, and the playa sees things differently from that point. Bryce was a baby daddy twice. And I had little faith in him changing. Boy, was I wrong? The change was swift and all-consuming. Both his exs provided the drama, but it all came out in the rinse cycle. Sheena was almost too good for the original Bryce. Her love was the real deal. And, I'm happy his kids got the chance to develop a bond. The couple made different a good thing.

Good Read
I enjoyed reading Bryce and Sheena’s story.. He had a lot of drama going on in his life, but I was happy that he handled it all like a grown man and not a little boy running game. I loved that Sheena was so understanding and that Bryce continued to communicate and be honest with her..

All the feels!
It was great watching Bryce evolve with Sheena. He never sugar coated anything and she loved him through all his flaws. They pushed past every obstacle and grew from it... the emotions were just so raw and their vows almost took me out. Monica and T Key never disappoint. Maybe there will be one for Watt and Gia!
