She has a lot of plans. None of them involved him. Until now.
Lennon Cole has it all mapped out, bright lights, New York and living the high life. Until a shady deal in her father's business world brings everything she knows down around her. With nothing left, Lennon ends up in the one place she doesn't want to be; at her grandparents' holiday home in Ealynn Sands.
Justin Navarro has it all sorted. The bad boy of Ealynn Sands, his reputation precedes him. If there's one thing he can't abide, it's tourists flying into his hometown and leaving again without a backwards glance. Like Lennon Cole. Sure, they've had moments... Near misses and almost kisses, but he could never be interested in a pampered princess like that.
Until the night he saves her life.
Now the tourist and the bad boy are seeing each other properly for the first time... but it's just a summer fling... isn't it?
>b>Kiss Me Ever After is a standalone romance, where opposites attracting could just change your life forever.
Author of contemporary romance featuring rock stars, small towns, a healthy dose of angst, some steamy times and always a happy ever after!
When not writing, I can usually be found binge watching teen drama series on Netflix, or supporting Spurs from my armchair, and running around after my two feline children, Corey and Elsa.
Beautiful romance It's a beautiful romance, very well written, with good characters opposed in theory by their social rank, but the narrative is a bit too melodramatic for my taste, with a few predictable parts. Despite of thisn it's still a very good melodramatic romance I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Gawd you will just fall in love with this small town love story. Two people that seems worlds apart really aren’t once they take down their walls and give into the feelings they both have had for years. But every love story needs a good villain. And that villain will do just about anything to make our two love birds be no more. This book is so so epic! I’ve never read a book from this author before but that’s in the past! I can’t wait to read more from her in the future.

If I can be completely honest with you, based on the first chapter alone, I didn't think that I would enjoy this book at all because the dialogue is the kind of cheesy that I dislike and I almost DNF'd there, but forced myself to keep reading and give it a chance, hoping that it would get better.
And you know what? It did. Kind of. For the most part.
I've always been a sucker for romances that have a perceived "bad boy" love interest with a big heart and Kiss Me Ever After gave me that and then some. I enjoyed the push-and-pull between Lennon and Justin and was really able to feel their steamy chemistry come to life. The way they tried to avoid one another until an incident that happened at a local café one night definitely served me that slow-burn that I've liked to read as of late, and when they finally get together for the first time, it's ... not explosive, but definitely passionate. Like all of their built up sexual tension from the past however many summers revolving around each other finally came to a head.
The things that I didn't like weren't many, but they were pretty big pet peeves of mine when it comes to romance novels, and one of them happens quite frequently throughout the story. Lennon has a tendency to jump to conclusions when it comes to Justin, whether it's something that she's overheard, or just a random conversation they had that she looks back on and suddenly she's second-guessing everything and I'm just like, "Well, that's a stretch," every time it happens.
This is going to sound violent, but the jumping to conclusions annoyed me so much, it got to a point where I wanted to slap Lennon with my Kindle to make her stop. There's also a lack of communication that goes on for several chapters because Justin's ex-girlfriend did what most toxic ex-girlfriends do, and instead of hearing him out or even giving him the chance to to say anything at all, Lennon, again, jumps to conclusions and is suddenly so certain that he's made his choice when he was barely wrapping his head around the bombshell news he had received.
Speaking of Justin's ex-girlfriend -- whose name I've already forgotten -- I did think most of her arc was kind of cheap and cliché and I wasn't a fan of it, but that's most likely a me thing and not the fault of the story. I'm just tired of reading girl-on-girl hate, especially when the reasoning behind the supposed hate is just because she doesn't like Lennon and thinks that she "always gets what she wants."
All in all, I didn't love this book, but I also didn't dislike it either. For me, it falls kind of middle-of-the-road and I struggled with how to rate this because at least one of the issues I had with the story may definitely be a me thing. If you're into slow-burn new adult romance books with a bad boy with a heart of gold love interest and a female protagonist who's down on her luck and trying to find her own way in the world, or if you like stories that take place outside of the United States -- Kiss Me Ever After is set in England -- then this could be a story for you.
Lennon was always part of the summer crowd in Ealynn Sands, spending that time at her grandparents home. Her best friend Amber lives next door and it was all about fun and parties. This year is different for Lennon, her father is under investigation and all their money is frozen. Instead of heading to New York for a fabulous internship, she's back in Ealynn Sands, with a job so she can return to Uni in the fall.
Justin is Amber's brother Alex's friend, they work at the hotel bar together along with their other friend Curtis. It's from them that Justin hears Lennon is in town and working at The Blue Goose Cafe.
Lennon is surprised to see Justin when he stops in after his shift, it's not like they were friends although he was really nice to look at. The last time she saw him he was with Candace and she wasn't letting anyone near him. When those two were on the outs with each other Justin was quite the flirt and there have been a couple of close but not quite kisses.
Things are much different now, Justin has made a final break from his toxic relationship with Candace and is now realizing there is far more to Lennon than the privileged princess he knew.
Things start to heat up quickly between these two as Justin confronts his home life and Lennon adjusts to the changes in her life.
A couple of scares for Lennon just intensifies the relationship, even as Candace tries to destroy it.
Julie takes on a couple of difficult topics in this book and does it very well. I loved the ups and downs, conflicts and the simmer to sizzle relationship.
This was my first book by Julie Archer and I really enjoyed her writing style and ability to write scenes that made you feel like you were a part of the story. It did start off a bit slow for me, but once the characters and setting were sorted, I really enjoyed the romance that developed between Lennon and Justin.
There was a lot going on with both characters outside of their relationship that had me rooting for them to find their happy ever after. They are both dealing with family issues and I really felt for what Justin had to deal with.
I’m not a big fan of too much drama and angst, and there were a couple of scenes that I felt didn’t add a lot of value to the story that I could have done without, but overall I enjoyed watching Justin and Lennon find the way to the happy ever after. There were a few questions left unanswered, so maybe some things will be addressed as the series progresses.
I received an advance reader copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
This is my first time reading a novel by Julie Archer and I am glad that I took a chance on it. The story grips you right from the beginning and although some chapters are a little more confusing to follow, the overall storyline is great and has you constantly wondering what could possibly happen next. The writing style flows well and Julie creates a great picture of what is happening so it feels like you are right there in the action with them but I was left slightly disappointed by the ending which felt a little rushed with a few unanswered questions niggling at me and at times felt a little more Young Adult that what I prefer to read (but don't let my personal preferences put you off). Overall, it was a very engaging and pleasant read.
I received a free copy of this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a good opposites attract summer love romance. Justin and Lennon have known each other forever. Lennon has always vacationed in the town where Justin lives. Lennon is from money and Justin is the town’s bad boy. There has always been an attraction between the two of them but it could never work out. This summer things are different though. Justin is single and Lennon doesn’t have money anymore. After saving her from some thieves, they start spending time together, and the summer today a new turn. They have some highs and lows, especially when an ex has a bomb to drop on their relationship. Can they find a love that will last longer than the summer? Will there be too many obstacles in the way of them being together. Check out their story and find out. It’s a great read.

Best laid plans and all that right? At least that's how Lennon's life seems to be going. She has plans to go to New York and live this glamorous life, until things happen. Lennon and Justin strike sparks off each other from the jump. But Lennon is an entitled, rich princess, or so Justin thinks, so she's off limits. Plus she's leaving town.
Justin isn't necessarily what I'd call a boy from the wrong side of the tracks but he's definitely not in Lennon's neighborhood, even though they have the same friend group.
Justin and Lennon both have a case of judging a book by it's cover and being wrong. Justin is not what Lennon thinks and Lennon isn't what Justin thinks.
A good story that teaches you not to judge people at first glance.
Kiss Me Ever After is an enjoyable contemporary romance set in England and involves Lennon and Justin. Lennon has always been the rich summer tourist that Justin stays away from. This summer, she is back but circumstances have changed. For the most part, I enjoyed the romance. I did like them as a couple. Having years of slow burn definitely made their chemistry that much steamier. I was definitely rooting for them. I did like the growth I saw in Lennon by the end. The one thing I didn't love was the conflict that got in the way of their relationship. That is not a trope I love because it can easily be remedied with a test without causing the amount of angst it usually causes. I still recommend giving this one a shot.
Lennon had her future mapped out but nowhere in her plans did she imagine ending up at grandparents' holiday home. However, this is exactly where she landed temporarily which has her in the resident bad boy, Justin's crosshairs & at first it isn't too pretty. See, he's considered to be from the wrong side of the tracks, and he really doesn't deal with the tourists well either. Despite any feelings he's feeling or denying, it doesn't change the fact that he & Lennon have chemistry so it's only a matter of time, but anything they may or may not do does have an expiration date since she's not planning to stay permanently. The journey wasn't easy, and there was some drama that I could've done without, but overall this is a book that I enjoyed reading. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
“I’ve got all the time in the world for you.” I wanted more. The way Lennon lit up when I gave her my response made me pretty sure she did too.
Lennon spends summers in Ealynn Sands each year. And each year, she and Justin tease and flirt but Justin and Lennon are from two entirely different worlds. That is until Lennon’s pampered life is interrupted and she finds herself in need of a knight in shining armor one day. The sexy, bad boy Justin saves the day and wins her heart. But can they bridge the gap on their different upbringings?
This was a fun, quick read. You root for them entirely. The story began a little slow for me and it got hot a little quickly, but overall the characters were likable. In addition, I love great dialogue and Kiss Me Ever After had it all.
They may be opposites but they have more in common than they think...but is it enough?
Kiss Me Ever After is the first book in The Ever After series. It is the story of Lennon Cole and Justin Navarro. They are opposites who have a lot in common deep down underneath. I enjoyed this young love story and characters which were interesting. I did find the story a bit hard to sort out for the first few chapters but then it started to click into place and tighten up. So if you can make it past a bit of a rocky and confusing start then you will be rewarded with a solid story.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Lennon's life isn't working out as planned. She's back at her grandparents' vacation home. Justin, local bad boy, has always been interested, but thinks she's spoiled. They came close, but never quite got together. Until now. This book checks all the - bad boy, sweet girl down on her luck, total opposites in a small town. Besides this new romance, there a touch of suspense, with his ex causing trouble, what she seems to do best. This was a wonderful book, everything I expect from this author. I'm excited for the rest of the series.

Lennon is back in Ealynn Sands unexpectedly, her plans to go to New York to work in the fashion industry in ruins, it seems her father has lost all their money. She gets a job at the local cafe, where Justin arrives in time to save her from thieves and vandals. Justin has always fancied her but had an on again off again relationship with Candice. Lennon and Justin start going out, and all seems to be going well until an unexpected occurrence.

Kiss me ever after by Julie Archer. Ever after #1. A really enjoyable read. Great story and some good characters. I didn't like Candice or Ted. I hope there is more to come. 5*.
I found the setting of this book extremely difficult to place at the beginning. It was very confusing until I had read a few chapters. The storyline was pretty good. There were also a few questions left unanswered at the end. Overall, not too bad of a read from an author I had never heard of before reading this book.
This is the first book I have read by this author.the story was good. I did find the story took a little bit to get into the groove of it. I found some parts a little confusing. Some parts I felt could have gone into more detail and some parts that didn't need as much detail. The storyline was great but felt that there was many things left unsaid or unfinished. Overall a good story.
Kiss Me Ever After is the first book in The Ever After series. It is the story of Lennon Cole and Justin Navarro. Lennon visits Ealynn Sands each summer but this year she was planning to intern in New York in the fashion industry for the summer but her father is in a heap of trouble and all their assets and money has been frozen. So she gets a job at the local cafe and stays at her grandma's place. Justin is a guy who lives in Ealynn Sands that has always thought Lennon was beautiful but not attainable for a relationship. He has had an on-again and off-again relationship with another local Candice. Justin arrives at the cafe in time to save her from thieves and vandals. This starts Lennon and Justin getting to really know each other. But the ex comes back into the picture causing issues. These two are opposites at first look but when you dig deeper you discover they have more in common . This was a sweet young love story that I enjoyed reading. It starts out slow but picks up pretty fast and I then read it cover to cover. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it if you love a sweet love story.
This is a story about Lennon and Justin, told in the dual, first person point of view, which is always a deal breaker for me. This author delivered once again. Her books are always a treat to read and this one was no different. I read this story in one sitting. I love her characters. 5 stars.

Definitely recommend, it was a fun and quick read. I really loved the characters and Justin and Lennon’s relationship so much they were so cuteee. I do wish the beginning of them getting together was a little slower i wanted a more slow burn enemies to lovers, buttt i still loved it. Didn’t like the twist though cause it tore apart my fave characters, but nonetheless, i loved it!!🥰

An opposites attract story with a little suspense and danger thrown in. The chemistry between the characters is amazing and I had a hard time putting this down because of it. There were some moments that were confusing and I didn't know where the story was going but it moves quickly past it.
This was a sweet story however, I guessed the major turn in the story before it happened. It was still a good book and the author did a great job with the story line. I can't wait to read more from this author.
I thought the book read just a bit placed and predictable. I didn't quite care for or believe Lennon and Justin's relationship. It just seemed so fragile. The plot was ok, but wasn't anything exciting either.
I enjoyed Justin & Lennon's book. It was an entertaining read with good story flow. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
