"Suria?" Khairi menarik muffler melitupi sebahagian wajah Suria. "I just need to see your face." Khairi senyum. Rindunya terubat.
Okey. Sebelum menjawab panggilan Khairi, Suria melutut. Kepalanya tunduk seolah-olah mencari sesuatu terjatuh di atas pavement.
Khairi keliru. "Cari apa tu? Did you drop something?"
Suria mendongak dan memandang Khairi. Nampak galak matanya. Dia bingkas berdiri. "Ha! Dah jumpa," serunya.
"Apa dia?" Khairi dan Thir serentak bersuara.
"My heart. Tadi ia gugur sekejap."
"OhEmmGee!" Gulir mata Thir mendengar jawapan Suria. Seriously, this girl....
Berdekah Khairi ketawa. Sudah agak lama dia tidak ketawa begini. Ada-ada sahaja perangai Suria yang mencuit hatinya. You will always be my sunshine, girl.

Alusmitai ni sebenarnya sambungan manis & penuh closure untuk Suria & Khairi dari Epilog Dear Yayah. Tapi bestnya, dalam buku ni ada juga beberapa bahagian Jihan yang sebelum ni tak diceritakan sepenuhnya dalam Epilog. Jadi siapa yang minat Jihan, wajib baca!
Suria memang the best! Random dia tak pernah failed buat kita tergelak 😂 Part dia terkejut Jihan tak marah Dini tu, terus keluar ayat “Wow! Hidup Jihan! Takbir!” memang bongok tapi kelakar sangat! Haha. Dia matang, tetap ambil tahu pasal Jihan walaupun kena palau 😢
Khairi pula cuba jadi ‘orang tengah’ untuk satukan semua balik. Jihan-Suria, Jihan-Hazman. Tapi satu je… terlalu gentleman dengan semua perempuan, sampai rasa macam ehh… takleh la macam ni 😌 Ada benda yang patut ada boundaries, walaupun dengan Jihan.
Tapi apa pun, buku ni jadi penutup yang tenang & memuaskan untuk kisah keempat-empat sahabat. Semua orang turunkan ego masing-masing & akhirnya bahagia dengan cara mereka sendiri.
Sebagai fans Suria & Khairi tegar, thank you dear author (Kak Farihah) for Alusmitai 😍 Tak rasa tergantung lagi ❤️

One word that i can describe after finished this book is, puas. Satisfying. Ahh i love the ending !
And for those who are in dilemma between to read closure or alusmitai first, my recommendation is for you to read closure first. And then proceed with alusmitai. And you will get the best ending ever !!!!!
I read Dear Yayah Series back then when i was in sekolah rendah. Because of that, i eager to pursue my study at boarding school. Buat tawaf petang², prep malam, jadi wakil sekolah, makan ikan jaket. Alhamdulillah, i got those experiences when im 16y/o. Dear yayah was one of my push factor i can said.
And by reading closure and alusmitai, when i am same old as Jihan and Suria, i can feel their life changing, conflicts, friendship, works etc. Throwback for the memories from high school, ohhhhhhh sendu betul rasa. Rasa mcm dh tua bila baca part throwback tu. Reminiscing those memories. Reflecting my own memories, oh. Kena betul timing dia.
After all, the book reflecting its title. Alusmitai. Sweet as cotton candy. But as we know, life is not full of roses, ey? There are times we felt that life hit us like storms, but after that, comes rainbow to soothing us. That's life :)))

FINALLYYY I got the closure that I need !!
Everyone in this book strive on lack of communication (except Hazman). Like, I was stressing out the whole time of the book. Ms Jihan , just talk please. Like , this book would be 10 pages if you could've just talked.
Suria and Khairi, as always SOOO cute. I love the banter , the teasing. One thing that irks me a bit is the 'youyou' nickname. Uhh ????
Hazman. Gosh, he suffers so much and yet still so loyal to Jihan despite everything. Like, years goes by and he still loves Jihan. Man, that loyalty is admirable.
Sofian. Ugh, wish we could know more about him. He is always just a side charachter, we never really know what's happening in his life.
I love we could see the other old charachters from Dear Yayah. Mar, Dini and more.
Reading this book truly felt like a closure. I've read Dear Yayah, and seeing them grow from teens to the adults they are now. Gosh, I feel so proud.

Basically, this book is continuation of Closer by Farihah Iskandar. What I could say is the storyline is clear and clearly detailed well. If the is argument in the story, it is not from one-sided, which it contain views from both party. This book inspire me a lot. It makes me think further, the pros and cons from my decision and stop speculate on what other might think. Lastly, the title fit the storyline so well, congratulation! Can't wait for Sofian's story!

Menggamit memori betul bila baca karya Farihah Iskandar yang ni. Kesinambungan Dear Yayah & suria. Persahabatan, kesetiaan & kepercayaan dalam perhubungan. Sangat sweet and penting. Tak pernah mengecewakan bila baca karya² beliau.

As someone who had been a big fan of Dear Yayah, this book satisfied me. It feels so good to see the characters all grown up. Not teenagers anymore. Each their perspective are interesting. Definitely a must have if you completed Dear Yayah series.
