Mason EnemyHunter is a Skin Walker who’s only had time for work and hunting for his sister. Hell, he didn’t even know he had a sister until a siege on the facility where his parents were once captives produced a file verifying her birth. Distracted beyond measure, his treatment of a human female visiting StoneCrow Estates is unforgivable. Never had he physically harmed a female, until now. His inexcusable manhandling of Amanda Chandler leaves him needing to make amends. When his efforts at making things right pulls him from his sole-minded purpose of finding his sister, Mason realizes that he’s put his happiness on hold. That’s about to change.
Amanda Chandler doesn’t know why Mason attacked her. A friend and ally to Skin Walkers, she’d always felt safe in their presence until now. Worse, Mason’s guilt over the situation has him turning up every time she turns around. His insistence at making amends has him doing more for her than any man has done in a long time. It’s got strange emotions filling her head and a longing tugging at her heart. But Mason isn’t for Amanda. He’s too consumed with finding his sister, and Amanda’s too preoccupied trying to end things with Skin Walker Sentry, Remy McCabe. Mason couldn’t have arrived at a worse time, but Amanda can’t seem to shake him or the idea of what if.
*This is book 4 in the Skin Walkers series; however, each book focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone.
My pack territory is in Central Montana, between Stone Crow Estates and the North Fortress. Born and raised in an untamed location that bridges the gap between rolling prairies and majestic mountain peaks, I am born to a family that also bridges the gap between cultures. My father’s people boast a fiercely proud Scandinavian ancestry while my mother’s tribes descend from two savagely beautiful and unique nations (White Clay and Nakoda) that inspire my Skin Walker series.
I'm a huge fan of MMA, boxing, 30 Seconds to Mars, DMX, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and 21 Pilots (“…sometimes quiet is violent”). I also love to read because it encourages me to write. (I hate it when authors add that they love coffee and chocolate. Really? Who doesn't love coffee and chocolate?) Anyway, I love beer...kidding. I don't love beer but we are engaged in a very serious relationship. (Mom, please don't call me when you read this.)
Please leave feedback….well, only if it’s positive. “Keep in mind that I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shit! (Erykah Badu lyrics!)

What a phenomenal experience! The author did not disappoint with this much anticipated addition to the Skin Walkers series. Mason and Amanda’s story is everything I hoped it would be, and so much more. I love how she brought this couple together before she entwined Remy into the mix. The bumps in the road and Remy’s reaction are exactly what I needed to read for the story to fit smoothly into its position in the series. I especially enjoyed the unexpected stranger danger. Seriously! Who even saw that coming! This book was amazing and I am already anticipating the next book in the series. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.
I am just reading this book for the first time, I started re-reading this series earlier in the week, but even though it is marked book #4 in the authors reading list, it was actually published 7 years after Conn Book #5, which was actually the first Skin Walker book published. Very Confusing and not really sure why the staggering of books. I read this book because like I said I was re-reading the series and had just gotten to Remy's book which is listed as Book #10, and wanted to have Mason's book completed before starting it. Mason's book did answer questions created from earlier books, so was glad I finally read it. Mason and Amanda were well rounded characters, both fighting a sense of inadequacy. Mason for not finding the sister he found out existed after a raid on a Megalya facility and Amanda because of her father's leaving and lack of stability in her young life. Inadequacy and insecurity seems to be the norm rather than the exception for most of the main character within this series. Each book is well written and the books main character's are unique within this world, so it never seems redundant, at least to me. Editing still seems to be an issue for this author, but again not so much as to always bring you out of the moment. This review may not sound like it , but I really think this is an amazing world this author has brought to us, consider it well worth your time and $$ Off to Remy's book.....
Oh my... the wait was sure worth it. This book I could not put down. Once again susan bliler does not disappoint on another amazing book. Mason and Amanda were both great characters and I loved their story. Both not expecting to have feelings gor the other and neither trusting eachother in the beginning. Mason accidentally hurts Amanda and that is what brings them together, feeling guilty and wanting to help all he can. Mason doesnt understand why he can't get Amanda off his mind, but even though he believes she belongs to another he cant stay away. Amanda just wants to feel wanted and loved by someone, hate to feel like she is not worth it not important. She has feelings for mason but doesnt know if he really feels anything real for her. Cant wait for many more books of Susan's. Ever book of Susan's has the reader feeling what the characters do... you feel their pain and frustration.... Absolutely love her books.
I've been eagerly checking for any new Ms. Bliler's works and low and behold, we've got a new Skin Walker story! Insta-purchase and I immediately jumped right into it. I've already read Remy's story, so, I think that was a very good thing. If this had come out first, I think I'd have been less interested in reading his story because of what happened in here. Great. Strats.
I really liked how Amanda and Mason's story unfolded. Mason made a mistake and goes to make amends with Amanda. He's a lovely level of alpha without being so over the top a-hole like how some of the other Walkers' can sometimes be. (i.e. Monroe). I think he's now one of my favorite Walkers.
Overall I really enjoyed this and am now wanting to re-read Remy haha. Highly recommend this story and series.
This book is one of the slower books in the series and I thought I had already left my review but apparently it hadn’t worked. It’s good to get the occasional slower read, one that isn’t going full speed ahead, the characters as always are creative and realistic, these two especially. The storyline builds off the other books and fits in so well. At present doing a full re-read and found out I missed this review. I loved the more relaxed storyline behind this book and it’s just a great prelude to the book I know will come later that is really the second half of this book. This author can cover the full gamut of feelings in her books but please read in order for best results
Mason and Amanda could use more pages. The chemistry was there and a worth a few more smexy scenes for us adults! Plus, there’s so much more to explore. What was that spark? Did Monroe, or Dr. Jenny know more than they said? A flashback on their pasts might’ve been good too. How did he end up in the US? Did she have a past prior to Remy? It was a good HEA and I’m glad I came back to read this. I almost skipped it based on reviews. Sometimes we have to disregard reviews and just read a book and make our our opinion.
This is one author I wish she could write book everyday. Omg I loved Mason 💖 loved him. Spoiler Alert yes this time I will if you've been reading this series how could you not be reading the Skin Walker Series right. Well we've all been reading about Remy and he finally got his the ladies man ha Mason came in and took Amanda away from him. Omg I love Remy but he was a user and was just playing around. Well this book was a fast paced story and such a page turner. I'm already ready for the next story bring it on.
I enjoyed reading Mason's story. He has been obsessed with finding his missing sister, conceived in captivity and given away at birth. So obsessed that he accidentally hurts a human woman. A fortuitous accident for him as it brings him back to living in his here and now. A lot going on in this mostly romantic story, a lot of angst and second guessing, a love triangle of sorts, and a little action. Plus a whole lot of testosterone being flung around. I enjoyed it.
I always wondered what the fued was about. As suspected, Remy was a jerk. Jason was horrible at first and he should have been punished. He came around but I was worried. Amanda is a sweet person. She was afraid to speak up. She let others push her around. She finally stood up. Monroe is a jerk sometimes. Liked the story. Need a new one!!
I never miss a skin walker by MS Bliler. Every time I get a new one I read it then go back and start with the first one and read them in order to get the timeline of events in the right sequence. And I never miss any of her other stories either. Highly recommend this author.
It was so worth the wait. I love how to souls who thought they were unlovable found that love in each order. Poor Remy lol. I am rereading his story just to see his happy ending.
What another wonderful addition to the series. We finally get to see why Mason and Remy hated each other. Great to see we could get more stories from the series too. Just wish sometimes Monore would not get the final word 😉 Thank you Susan keep them coming just love her work.💖
I’ve been so excited to read Mason’s story and it didn’t disappoint. Mason is preoccupied with worrying about his sister and he makes some severe mistakes with the one meant to be his angel. He has to work hard to earn her forgiveness. This book is steaming!!!
Mason startled injured Amanda's arm at a campfire get together and in his need to make amends romance happens. Remy, her in again and off again boyfriend becomes jealous.
Omg he was hot and well worth the wait . Can’t wait to read the next book omg could it be Mr tall dark and quiet sext Legion swoon please Mrs B say it’s so
