The final chapter

With his wife waging the fight of her life, Jason is desperate to get home, Blue Wolf or not.

But DAWA, an advanced warning system for doomsday events, has just sounded the alarm. A disease outbreak on tribal land is the latest in an ominous pattern that heralds the imminent end of the world.

Faced with the death of billions, Jason and his team rush to a reservation in Florida to break the pattern, only to confront a ghastly disease that can’t be cured and a source that appears supernatural. And unstoppable.

Now, with the doomsday pattern gaining momentum, Jason must forge new alliances and rally his team one final time. Because what’s coming is backed by the power of prophecy and more terrible than anything he’s ever fixed in his crosshairs.

Win or lose, this will be the Blue Wolf’s last mission.

Brad Magnarella writes urban fantasy for the same reason most read it – to explore worlds where magic crackles from fingertips, vampires and shifters walk city streets, cats talk (some excessively), and good prevails against all odds. It’s shamelessly fun.

His three main series, Prof Croft, Blue Wolf, and Maddy Deeds, make up the growing Croftverse, with nearly a half-million books sold to date and an Independent Audiobook Award nomination.

Hopelessly nomadic, Brad can be found in a rented room overseas or hiking America's backcountry.

This is it, the final book of the Blue Wolf in the Legion. Jason has one last mission before his term with the Legion ends. With that he will hopefully be getting the cure for his condition and get his happily ever after.
But the last mission is a doozy, an extinction event, with aliens!
This wraps up a very good-excellent series

Endings are hard. Luckily this series ending felt less like an ending and more like a reason to move forward. Fast paced and chock full of twists and turns, the book is a satisfying journey with great character arcs.. Jason and his team find out what Legion has actually been leading up to the whole time and of course it's world endingly big. Saying anything else would be a spoiler. If you've read the series to this point, you certainly shouldn't stop now.

You're in for a wild ride! I think this is my favorite book in the Blue Wolf series. I was shocked, surprised, worried, shocked, surprised, tense, shocked, surprised, worried...I even cried a couple of times. You don't want to miss the conclusion to this series.

Action packed end of series story. There were a few plot twists that I didn't see coming and was pleasantly surprised by.
This whole series has been just great. Thanks for the story Brad.

Nice wrap-up to the series and my favorite of the bunch; also nice to see elements from the greater croftverse in this final book.

A good finishing story, bear with the drawn out ending as it gives us hope that we will hear of the blue wolf again but just maybe not as main character

Overall a pretty satisfying ending to the series.

Still, I think the lore of him being in wolf form all the time was still a mistake from a narrative stance, and that feeling never went away during the series. If you have tech that can hide his form, then why have it be a thing at all? He literally kisses his wife right before the reveal and I can't imagine how a hologram hides something like a wolf snout. I even had trouble picturing this perfect disguise in my mind.

I just wish he (the author) had made it more compelling like Takara (not sure about spelling since I did the audio book). Where she had different power levels based on how tuned into the dragon she was. Overall I love the other characters and their conflicts, but Jason I never really connected with because there was always a suit or a gadget. I never really felt like him being the wolf had any real limitations.

The only limitations of the team of course was who was the author going to bench this book. The theme was in every book and by the time Sarah was left behind for research I was used to it.

Olaf though, what an arc. He went out in the best way possible. Loved it.

Great serie

I hope this isn't the last i read about the Blue Wolf, it has been a thrilling ride and i've come to love the main caracters. I guess it is the last time i read about his team working togheter and i will miss them, this last book was a great read just as the other 5 and this time he and his team must work togheter to stop an alien invasion and in the heat of their fight it is difficult to know who is friend and enemy. The story has a realistic ending and dont expect everyone you care for to survive but i wont reveal more details, enjoy and as always, don't start with this but read from nr 1 or you will miss out on a great adventure

Victoria's Review of Blue Storm (Blue Wolf Book 6

The more I read the Blue Wolf books, the more Jason Wolfe became my hero. I couldn't think of any better way to finalize the series than to team up the dynamic duo of Prof Croft and the Blue Wolf. May I hope this isn't the end end for either, pretty please and a danish for Tabitha? An awesome experience for fans already of Everson Croft and Jason Wolf. You'll love it, but be warned: bring plenty of tissues when you read Blue Storm. Kudos.

The blue wolfs cure

Right before Jason was getting to go home and be with Dani another emergency pops up he works with another 2 teams to stop the threats some were more accepting then others for him to be their leader you have the Dude! Bro! Team and an all gals team that are very quiet and stand-off ish a trator is found within their group and then another very close to home prof cross also turns up excellent reading another book in this series would be great or maybe a few more in prof cross’s

This book marks the end of a great supernatural urban fantasy danger adventure series of a team of very extraordinary members who work for a paramilitary mercenary operation. This story is characteristic of the other books in the series in the level of difficulty in overcoming several different kinds of evil (very edge of your seat well done!) but has a sadness near the end that turns things on an axis. But it kind of ends where it began, with the mage Prof Croft fighting unsavory magical elements in NYC.
Of course I loved it, just as I love the voice acting of James Patrick Cronin!

Good but a little anticlimactic

I really enjoyed this series throughout and I'm looking forward to what role the Blue Wolf plays in the Prof. Croft world now that this series. Still, I didn't find this last book as satisfying as the last couple of tales. I think it felt too rushed and a little all over the place. There were too many bad guys, but not enough time building them up before they were killed off. Then, just like that, everything was wrapped up in a nice little bow. So it was good, but it could have been better.

A totally immersive and compelling conclusion to the Blue Wolf series.

Wolfe and his team are sent to Florida to investigate a strange and deadly disease, but
what they find is far from simply a pathogen and has very far reaching implications.

With major plot twists, uncertain loyalties and apocalypitic proportions, this book will
keep you awake and reading long past when you should have gone to sleep.

Heres the thing about Brad M's books, he's shown consistent growth of skill with each book.
This entire series felt so different from the Croft-verse (also written by the author) that I found myself almost surprised by its elements occasionally popping up.

For a series about a blue werewolf, this series had no right to be so deep.
The ending is intense, the epilogue more so.

I cant wait for whats to come.

Yes!!!!

This series had been great from the first book! I was afraid he'd take the easy ending but nope he didn't!! I can't wait for what happens with everyone!! Guys will love The Blue Wolf for sure! Lots of guns and battle stuff. But this grandma loved it for the characters, the magic and the whole story. Jason is a stand up guy that anyone could love!! Bring on the next book!!!

Amazing

A great end to the first series of Blue Wolf novels.
It's always great when reading a book when you think it's going one way but then sucker punches you and goes off in a completely different direction and this does just that.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for Jason Wolfe but whatever it is I shall be there every step of the way.

Fantastic series

What a fantastic series! I couldn't get enough ! The characters pull you in until it seems your part of them. Plenty of action and intrigue and a whole lot of supernatural and magic. The last book totally surprised me. I think I will try another series. Looking forward to Seeing what The author has going on in those.

What an ending!

I've enjoyed the series, but this book puts the others to shame. I don't know what it was, but I felt this book just had *more.* More what, I don't know. The team was fun and I look forward to Wolf's work with his new family, though first I need to catch up with Croft. Feel like I might've missed a book.

One of the best series I have read

I love the fact that the story is completely different it is amazing how you can get caught up in each person in the story. I'm not missing the fact that I don't have to turn pages to get away from the sex like I have to with some of my other books. Can't wait for more from this author you have a tremendous gift thanks for sharing it with us.

The longest year

Things have come full circle and the tides have changed. The author has led us thru strife & betrayal but also given us loyalty & love. Now the team's chapter has ended but the remaining members have their own purposes to fulfill. The author gives us brief touches on what those next purposes could be.

Cracking series!

Just finished the last book - read them all in 8 days. Brilliant plots, wonderful characters and action galore but with plenty of fun, pathos and personal interaction too. Very poignant ending but hopeful too. Would liked to have met the team IRL, especially the 7 foot tall Blue Wolf and the dragon.

Tears anyone?

I loved this series! The characters, conflicts, tactics, tech, and magic made for an incredible storyline. Why did you need to make me cry Mr. Magnarella? Read it all and tell me that you didn't and I'll use you to illustrate what a sociopath is.
