Haunted is my first book by this author. Its a gritty MC romance. It does come with a trigger warning so I knew to expect something dark. The pair have a haunted past but can they find a way forward?

I started this book and tried to put it off until the next day but 81 wouldn't let me sleep. Him and Little Bird have stole my sleep, my sanity and the ability to think straight.
Love, loss, tragedy, addiction, consumption, abuse and so much more hit my senses like a wrecking ball. I don't even know to express how I feel. These are more than characters. I've experienced a touch of their darkness personally in my own life so they became my unsung heroes.
Who knew a flower shop owner who has visible scars would find a kindred spirit in a man who loves deep, fights demons, can't let go of a toxic past and now battles himself over a poisonous love or one who strikes a crazy possession of his darkness.
Definitely one of my favorite books...EVER. There is no magical world - these are seriously broken and jaded characters. Their darkness is deep. The addictions they endured and bruises they wear are their badge of triumph. I cried, shook and prayed for them. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Aleisha Maree; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

In this fourth Reapers Reign MC book Henry, aka 81, and Jade, aka Little Bird, meet and a spark is ignited. Both having suffered severe personal trauma in their past means they are wary of committing to anything or even seeing if they are compatible, and rightly so. This is their story and what a poignant one it is too.
The tension between the two lead characters, 81 and Jade, is almost tangible it is so thick. As they struggle with their own demons from their pasts it is Jade’s real life demon who arrives to threaten her again. In a way this is good though, it helps them in quite a few ways. Facing fears is always difficult and when your life is threatened in the process, it can be deadly.
Oh my, the descriptions of detoxing, pain and loss are so vivid and so detailed my heart broke and almost bled with the agony the words created. This has to be what this author is best known for, her emotive writing is sensational.
Another terrific story that pulls at your heartstrings. The storyline as stated is good but it seems to be all over the place at times and hard to follow. I found this mainly in the beginning but it did crop up occasionally throughout the book, reading on you worked things out but this and some functional errors detract from making it a 5 star story. Definitely worth reading though.

Aleisha Maree delivers yet another fantastic installment in her Reapers Reign MC series. 81 is like the walking dead man of the club, his insides are as scared as the outside of him. He keeps his brothers in check and on this side of heaven, even though he himself wishes for the other side daily... well that is until he catches a glimpse of the new florist across the road from Ghosts tattoo studio... Jade is new to town, she moved there to escape her abusive ex and get her life back! But fate has other ideas...
Her psychco ex stalks her and tries to re-break her mentally but a beast of a biker will be more calming to her damaged soul than any other person has ever been and will help her "fix" her problem, which in turn will help to repair his own...
The chemistry between these two is undeniable... even though they both try to deny it.
Their journey is anything but easy and will test even the mentally strong but it is soooo worth the rollercoaster and will go a long way to helping these two damaged souls find a little peace...

Miss Maree is a new author for me I adored this book so much I went and bought the whole series! It was that good! I fell in love with these characters and even after reading this book I could not let it go! Written very well but that even is not saying what this book will do to you once you start it! It is so MUCH more! You will get to know these characters intimately and they will consume you like a raging inferno! I have to admit that this book has so many triggers it might be hard for some. For me it adds to the characters and what they go through. It is remarkable how much information is given within the pages and it is a bit jagged in a few parts but it is very intriguing and will keep you engaged within its pages! If you have not read this book or this series yet get it! You will not be sorry that you did! Absolutely loved it!

Little Bird (Jade) and 81 will have you on your knees and keep you on the edge. These two will take everything you have and rip it apart and ever so slowly put it back together again. This book is an emotional,dark, intense, soul shaking, heartbreaking read that won't disappoint but will have enthralled and not wanting it to end. Can these two let go of the pain and destruction to get to one another or will they let the past keep haunting them to let it go? Your heat and your head will be a war with each other as you read all about 81 and His Little Bird. Get read for an emotional read of epic proportions that won't let go even at the end. This author truly knows how take everything scramble it and mess with your head and than BAM!! give you everything you need. I can't wait to read what she has next.

It amazes me how Aleisha manages to let these characters into her head.
81 and Jade are both damaged beyond repair. 81 dealing with the violent life and death of his lady, Jade on the run from a sadistic psychopath husband whom she thought that she had escaped. Both deal with such deep seeded horrific darkness that im.surprised that there is room for them to even find each other.
The storyline is beyond amazing, but it was very hard to read because of all that happens in their life. It was nice visiting the other characters from the past three books, but it seems that we got to see a different side of them all. There were many twists and turns, but the last two chapters wrapped everything up nicely. Well done Ms. MAREE.

81 and Jade's stories are both very haunting and heartbreaking. The things 81 has been through whether it's been his own doing or the actions of someone else leaves him battling huge demons. While his past relationship took quite a toll on him it's the aftermath that seems to be eating him alive. Then there's Jade, she has demons of her own. 81 and Jades journey is interesting to say the least. She doesn't trust anyone and he's trying to convince her to let him in. The struggles they have because of their pasts is utterly heartbreaking and it just made me want to reach in and fix things for them. This book will pull you in and keep you completely consumed til the end.

Jade and 81 both have had horrible lives. Both have had serious traumas to overcome. Jade has built walls that she wants no one to break through. 81 is living with a ghost he is trying to escape. Both broken souls cry out to one another to find a life together. This is a great story.
Hopefully someone does some massive editing, the errors in the book are atrocious. A simple spell check would do wonders. There was even a part in the book where it looked like notes an editor left the author. How do you have a word in the book with a 3 in the middle of the word. I got so distracted by missing letters and the use of a wrong word? Please have this edited before it is read by the public.

This story will consume you like no other. This is book four in the Reapers Reign series and the darkest, broodiest and most heart pumping story yet.
There is poetry in this authors words, lessons and guidance. There’s a pull toward her words that when you look into the eyes of 81 and Jade, you’ll become lost to them.
I absolutely loved this one!! Finally getting more of these characters and ones of past books, the excitement was real.
If you’ve read Aleisha before you’ll know she’s all about the dark romance and executes it like a boss. This being said prepare for a sleepless night of binge reading ;)

I absolutely love this cover. It is beautiful!
I’m a sucker for a good MC Romance and once I start a MC series, even if I start in the middle, I have to go back and see how the other couples got together.
The world Aleisha Maree has created is so vivid and really helps the reader feel like they are there with the characters.
A strong and fast paced plot kept me on my toes. I loved the main characters, but I also loved everyone who surrounded them.
The characters, plot, and pacing were all spot on and really helped to elevate the novel. A superb MC Romance. Now to go back and read the others!

To me, this is so close to a five star book. Two things kept that from happening—a lot of editing and proofreading are needed and this story is supposed to be in NewYork, but these do not speak like people in New York at all. This is a new to me author and I really liked the story.. Haunted is a perfect name. Jade and 81 are both very broken people. I wish what happened with Hannah at her end was spelled out with a lot more detail. I would like to read the other books in the series when I have time.

Well, now I need to go back and catch up with the previous HEA's!
I thoroughly enjoyed this!! And I can't wait to read each of the previous ones, I need to know how the secondary characters relationships came to be.
It was a beautiful woven story. Knowing something was going to happen, but not knowing what exactly had me on the edge of my seat.
It had it's dark moments, it had it's light moments, it had it's drama, and perfect romance. So many great aspects. A completely well-balanced read for any who love a good MC book.

This book was a bit different than I first expected, but now that I’ve read the 4th book in the series, I think that I need to go back and read the first book to get more insight into 81 and Jade’s characters. They both have had such dark pasts, and are struggling to keep going. While this certainly wasn’t a light book to read, it is one that gets your attention and makes you really think

Holy mother of all things crazy
I gotta say reading this book just holy fudge balls
The feels from the book was amazing!! I’m still speechless even days after and re reading it two times.
From the start the characters took you on an dark road fill with addiction abuse tragedy lost and love.
The book from the start stole my attention held it all the way to the end.
I’m so glad I had a day off because once I started this book I didn’t stop until I finished

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. 81 (Henry) and Little Bird (Jade) have an instant attraction, they have both suffered, they have demons that keep haunting them. Jades past her demons have arrived only to threaten her, will 81 stick by her and help her with the demons. Will they survive or will it be the end.

81 and Jade have demons they are both fighting to overcome. This book may have triggers for someone that has been in an abusive relationship whether it was physical or mental. Or due to the graphic murder scenes. This book can definitely take you to a dark place even though it is fiction.

This one is a good read, but I had a hard time understanding whom they are talking about. The story jumps around a lot but the story is not losing anything from it. I enjoyed it just had a few times when I had to go back and re-read the chapter.

Another fab book from Aleisha Maree. 81 and jade are both haunted by their pasts. Their story pulls me in from the start and even struggled to put it down and I'm glad Aleisha puts a trigger warning as this might affect some people. I can't wait to read more from Aleisha Maree she is so amazing with her books....

Another amazing read by this author.
This author know how to capture your interest right from page 1 right to the end of the book. So wonderfully written plot and the characters are amazingly written and the author makes them feel so real. It is amazing to see that the main characters working through stuff and how much they grow along the way.

I love reading the reapers reign series and haunted is so good. I loved reading every minute of this book.

Pick up sticks

Jade and 81 both ae haunted by theirs pasts but together could their be light at the end of the tunnel? this book has a lot packed into this dark story but works well with the characters. This is well paced with a good story line that draws you in and doesn't let you go till the end (you wont be able to put this one down!)

Haunted by Aleisha Maree is a story of two people consumed by darkness and pain. Jade and 81 each have their own trauma to overcome, their own demons they must fight but it is only when they fight them together will they be brought into the light and be set free. I loved this book, it was dark and emotional with beautiful characters who have been through hell. They are strong and weak, real and raw, you want nothing but them to have a happily ever after. Haunted kept me enthralled and intrigued from start to finish. I couldn't get enough.
