Niobe's search is sidetracked when two of her former allies are taken captive. But her missions collide when her rescue effort puts her face to face with Skarlok. But is the Silver King friend or foe? The future of Asunda will depend on the answer.
This story was going well till Niobe was rescued from the sea then it felt like I missed a few frames and started losing the plot. One of my n=biggest struggles with following this story is that the is a consistent introduction of faceless characters, gods, people, and places that make this story to follow.
Nonetheless, Niobe is a badass, she takes every challenge set in front of her which makes me love her very much.
I got this book as a sample because I was interested in the series, well I will be getting the series, the story is well written and the art is beautiful. I really enjoyed this story, now wish to read them all.
